26/07/2026: A very good lunch here with the family on Sunday out on the pleasant terrace. Great bread, amuse bouches (chilled tomato soup), nibbles and duck mains and salads (esp Perigoudine with v generous slab of foie gras). Exquisite wild strawberry tart with lime sorbet all round to finish. Inside is lovely too - brasserie style area to front and gorgeous classy tablecloth old skool vibe beyond. Stonking bottle of Pecharmant stood up to the confit and magret. Ok service from youngsters with v good Maitresse D. Great spot - don't know why we haven't been before.

26/07/2026: The food was good, but the service was very disappointing. The waitress told us she had two other large tables waiting because we weren't ordering "quickly enough," making our guests very uncomfortable. Paying €60 per person for such disrespectful service is unacceptable.

08/07/2026: Fabulous place for a meal or drinks. Lovely helpful staff all speak fabulous English and couldn't be more welcoming.

20/06/2026: Excellent end-of-season meal for our walking club. Very good meat, delicious chicken, and excellent duck breast. Very well organized and the dining room was cool and inviting. 👍 I highly recommend this farm inn, La Fanole.

18/05/2026: Generous, flavorful home-style cooking. Excellent gizzard salad. Stewed veal with asparagus and a delicious side dish. Delicious chocolate fondant. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

20/06/2026: We were very disappointed with what this restaurant has become. We hadn't been back for two years and we regret our decision. We ordered two €34 set menus, two pizzas for our children, and two salads. The pizzas were advertised as not being homemade, but what a surprise to find that they were clearly frozen, industrially produced Buitoni-style pizzas, priced at €16 each! Considering you can find this kind of product for a few euros in a supermarket, it seems frankly excessive. Regarding the €34 set menus, we were also surprised to have to pay extra for some otherwise standard dishes, such as beef, and even for some desserts. Charging extra for a simple ice cream sundae in a set menu at this price seems hard to justify. We also didn't appreciate the waiters constantly asking us at each course if we wanted the next course, even though it was included in the set menu. We were asked if we wanted soup, even though it was included, then cheese, and even dessert. When you choose a set menu, it's precisely to enjoy all the included dishes. This approach made us feel like we were bothering them or that they were trying to dissuade us from ordering what was, after all, included. My son ordered a panna cotta, which was served in a simple coffee cup—unheard of for us. What's more, it was drowning in whipped cream, completely obscuring the dessert. As for the ice cream sundae (which we paid extra for), it was very disappointing: tasteless ice cream that didn't seem very fresh, and an excessive amount of dark chocolate that ran everywhere. In the end, the bill came to €130 for four people.

20/07/2026: Very close to the center, affordable prices during the week. Bonus: a free parking ticket. Room 1 is great. Perfect.

15/07/2026: While I love this cinema, it's normally advertised as offering a free parking ticket with every cinema ticket purchased. One of the receptionists decides whether or not to give it, and not based on the number of people in the cinema. Furthermore, there's a funfair going on at the moment, so no parking tickets are available. You still ask for a ticket since you buy a cinema ticket after driving 25 minutes to get there. Plus, with a loyalty card, they refuse to give you a parking ticket, especially since you'd want one for convenience next time, saving time by not having to go to the cinema to find a parking space, then go back to the cinema to get the ticket, and then put it in the car again. It's disappointing because every time I pay for parking, which is over €5.60, it's very expensive... It would be good to realize that cinemas survive thanks to film lovers, despite the real costs involved.

19/07/2026: A quick stop at the snack bar on our holiday road trip. Friendly welcome. The lady was very smiley and pleasant. The burger was delicious with an exceptionally crispy bun that wasn't too dry. I recommend this little place.

17/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! Palmyre Soleil de l'Amazonie is the perfect place for a family lunch. The large garden is a real bonus: children can play safely on the trampoline, with a ball, in the playhouse, and even use the bicycles provided, while parents relax and enjoy a meal or a drink in the sun. The service is excellent and the welcome particularly warm. The manager, originally from the Dominican Republic, greeted us with a big smile and great kindness. A fantastic place that we highly recommend to families!

10/07/2026: A truly welcoming restaurant, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the servers are absolutely wonderful with a touch of humor that everyone appreciates! I had the duck croquettes, which were excellent, followed by a hearty burger, also excellent, and for dessert, a chocolate fondant, as decadent as its name suggests. In short, I have nothing but praise; I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have a superb evening!

23/05/2026: We had an exceptional lunch with Isabelle, a very convivial moment that felt like a family meal. Isabelle also knew when to give us some privacy. A delicious and very generous meal in this secluded spot in the countryside. We highly recommend this place if you want to experience a truly timeless moment, something you won't find anywhere else.

04/06/2026: We visited the hotel in September 2025 with a small dog, to enjoy some drinks on the terrace outside the restaurant. We were welcomed and the service was great. We invited some friends to join us in June 2026 and were told that ‘the hotel only allows one dog on the hotel premises at any time and since there was already a dog’, we could not be served. Disappointing.
