19/04/2026: At the end of April, the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. The dishes were beautiful and delicious; if you're in the area, this is a great place to eat, especially in the evening to enjoy the terrace and the ambiance with its soft lighting. The prices are quite reasonable, with several set menus at different price points and excellent service. The village itself is also worth a visit for a leisurely stroll after your meal.

02/07/2026: We cycled into Le Bugue from Les Ezyies looking for a lunch spot, came across Le Pha, wow, great spot, terrace overlooking the river, rustic charm, order the perigourdian salad, swans swimming past with cygnets. Everything was amazing, service Great, highly recommend.

09/07/2026: Tonight, for my birthday, I had the pleasure of discovering L’Escapade des Sens in Thiviers. The setting is magnificent, the welcome warm, and the service impeccable. We enjoyed a five-course menu, accompanied by three amuse-bouches, and everything was absolutely delicious. Each dish was as beautiful as it was flavorful. The servers were incredibly attentive, smiling, and very pleasant, and the pace between courses was perfectly controlled. A truly wonderful discovery, which I wholeheartedly recommend to all lovers of fine cuisine. A must-try!

30/06/2026: For a dinner for two. The terrace was very crowded, noisy (right next to a busy road), and overheated despite the poor fans which, while helpful, actually hindered air circulation. The beautiful view is only possible from the upper floor. If that's what you're coming for, ask for an upper floor; otherwise, look elsewhere. However, it was good value for money, and the waiter was extremely friendly. 👍

04/06/2026: A group of 10 people without a reservation! But off-season and on a weekday, we received a very warm welcome. Friendly service, good and generous portions. The setting was very pleasant.

28/06/2026: We just love this restaurant and revisit it frequently. Food is very good, generous portions and good quality. Their troutis wonderful. Service is warm and friendly and considerate. Even providing water for our small well behaved dog, ready at the table for our arrival. Outside dining in the summer is beautiful by the river. Inside is also very good. Reservations are a must, particularly during summer time.
