25/09/2024: Bonne cuisine du sud ouest, produits de qualité. Menu attractif. Prix raisonnable. Copieux. J'ai adoré ma salade de gésiers et mon île flottante gargantuesque. Service à l'ancienne efficace un mercredi midi. Salle rustique pittoresque mais bruyante. Petit bémol pas de parking. Cheminée. Je recommande une valeur sûre depuis 20 ans.

21/09/2024: Great welcome, great setting as well as the little terrace with a street show👍 we come to the meal, don't miss LA Terrine, just a killer taste, really. Knife tartare with perfect seasoning with homemade fries 👌 a croque madame to devour without moderation, a just perfect fondant, so don't hesitate 👌👌👌 looking forward to coming back....
20/09/2024: Very nice surprise with the starter, main course and dessert formula for 19 euros. No waiting between courses and intelligent choice of ingredients.

04/01/2025: I strongly recommend taking advantage of the trip for a visit/tasting of Château Smith Haut Lafitte. You will be guided by Julie who will show you all the wonders of this site.
03/01/2025: Very disappointed with the menu offered (little choice) and the quality (well-cooked but cold duck breast, common desserts without wow).
Third and last time for us, 171eur for 2 courses 2 desserts and wine to eat something common in the end, very far from certain restaurants in the area in my opinion in terms of value for money..
Too bad the setting is friendly, the servers pleasant even if certain traditions are lost.
This will please a lot of people thanks to the frame but I think there are better and cheaper

The wok beef was overcooked and way too many onions.
The service is always attentive.
Pleasant outdoor terrace.
Nice interior decor.

C est notre 2ème experience à l Absolu : très bonne cuisine, accueil et service parfait, de bons vins abordables qu'on a énormément appréciés, une adresse que je conserve précieusement pour y revenir (on vient dans la région occasionnellement).

22/09/2024: Excellent time in this restaurant! The starters, main courses and desserts were all more than validated: presentation of the plate, taste, quality of the products, different textures, everything was there.
The service was very pleasant, with a smile, and lots of nice touches.
Everything is homemade and with love, you can see it, you can really feel it in each dish!
Congratulations to the whole team and thank you for this pleasant meal! Go for it, they deserve it and you won't be disappointed!

28/08/2024: Wow, what a delightful evening!
Walking from our apartment through what initially seemed like deserted streets we entered into a lively vibrant square filled with people having a great time.
Our service was wonderful as was the food. Every aspect of the food was a revelation in style and it was impeccably prepared. The wine was of course fabulous.
We ended up having great conversation with the family on the next table.
Genuinely fantastic and memorable, thank you.
23/08/2024: I wondered why the streets were empty, then we turned the corner and found everyone in the square by the Halle des Chartrons. Felt very much to be locals rather than tourists which was great. The food was delicious, different and beautifully presented, the service efficient and friendly.
