08/09/2024: Nous avons découvert ce restaurant grâce à "Thefork" et nous n'avons pas été déçues. Les entrées, plats et menus sont très bons, il y a du choix sans être trop variés. C'est copieux, fait sur place... C'est de la bonne nourriture traditionnelle comme on l'aime ! Le service aussi est agréable et rapide !

16/12/2024: Pleasant surprise! Discovered thanks to a smartbox box, the Fompeyre estate was on our way to Bordeaux. All the staff are very welcoming and caring. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. PS: I recommend the Bazas beef. We will return with great pleasure.

16/12/2024: The area is very well located. The staff is very attentive. I particularly thank Isabelle for her kindness. The restaurant is delicious as is the breakfast buffet. Being from Toulouse, it’s very nice to have such a flexible establishment.

13/08/2024: Restaurant retenu sur la base de très nombreux avis positifs. Respect de la demande de la restauratrice du choix anticipé des plats (bien assaisonnés en euros), à la carte pour huit personnes pour une "cuisine fraîche" ! Mais en réalité, aucune entrée préparée et passage aussitôt au plat principal, puis attente pendant une heure et demie les desserts (pas de distractions prévues pour les jeunes enfants). De simples excuses, mais aucune compensation en réparation de cette faute professionnelle. A méditer pour éviter ce type de surprise, compte tenu du risque potentiel de récidive.

15/09/2024: A restaurant as we like it, very friendly and warm welcome from the owners Ludo and Nico, varied menu, reasonable prices, local and artisanal products, choice for vegetarians, pretty room with painting exhibitions and pleasant terrace. We feel good there, even the dog is welcoming. I recommend!

23/05/2025: Excellent little restaurant for lunch on weekdays! Father Lionel is in the kitchen and it's a blast! His daughter, Mélanie, always with a smile on her face, provides ultra-fast service and always has a kind word for everyone. We often see regulars, workers, and the local grandparents. Simple, quality cuisine, for an amazing price. Run there!

21/05/2025: The setting, the welcome, the atmosphere—everything is family-friendly, clean, and efficient. As for the food, I don't know how the chef manages it (he must be doping himself with 20W50), but it's always at least good, and often very good. Special shout-out to • the homemade charcuterie • the desserts • the little sauce that goes so well with the fish • the shaded terrace with just the right amount of breeze when it's hot • the lady who serves and who keeps dropping, dropping 😳 The service is fast. The menu isn't 15 pages long, and that's a good thing, as it's all fresh. The chef has his hobbies, very easily identifiable as soon as you enter the dining room; discussing them in front of the chef will also grant you a show you shouldn't miss. 17/11/2024: Samedi soir de novembre, le restaurant n’est pas aussi plein que d’habitude. La salle est bien chauffée ce qui est appréciable. Le foie gras maison et le carré d’agneau sont délicieux. Le service est très agréable. Encore une bonne expérience dans ce restaurant. Nous recommandons.

03/11/2024: Nous étions en week-end à Hourtin en hors saison, seul restaurant ouvert et nous en sommes ravies. Nous y sommes allées 2 soirs dessuite, la variété des plats le permettant. Des nouveaux plats et desserts tous les jours. Les chiens sont acceptés, gamelle d'eau amenée dessuite. Personnel serviable, disponible, près à proposer une table tard pour pouvoir nous accueillir. Produits frais, service agréable, bonne ambiance. Bon rapport qualité prix. Allez y les yeux fermés.

20/09/2024: Edit ... In response to owners reply... Oh dear. Overly sensitive owners who don't like criticism? Asked on the evening if we were happy and took great offense when we said no! We were spoken to rudely and told they were "very busy"... Would we like to help?? I have eaten in many Michelin starred restaurants in several countries over the years and am very aware of what quality is. This place is not. Owners think they are something special but they are not. Barely average food , uncomfortable premises, VERY poor service from people who really should not be working in hospitality. I stand by my comments. Service slow. 2 hours for service. Poor. Dissatisfied. Disappointed.

14/12/2024: Restaurante Simpático com comida gostosa O restaurante é muito bem decorado, aconchegante, e muito bem localizado. Pedimos uma paleta de cordeiro e acho que talvez tenha sido a melhor da vida. Uma delícia! Derretendo na boca, macia e extremamente saborosa. Serviço atencioso e gentil.

04/12/2024: Una restautant estupendo, en un pueblo estupendo. Todo precioso, cocina de mercado, bien elaborada en base a buen producto. Buena atención. Tiene un precioso jardín detrás, junto a la Iglesia, para los días de buen tiempo. El foie gras al vino estaba muy rico, la chuleta, y ese soufflé de postre... Cómo los de antaño. Muy buen sitio y estando en Saint Emilion, impresionante carta de vinos
