21/02/2026: I come every two months and I'm always happy to eat there; it's my favorite spot in Capucins. Question for the manager: I went by Friday evening at the supposed 7 pm opening time, but the staff was eating. Are the hours incorrect on Google Maps?

24/02/2026: I was there years ago and this place was etched in my memory. An iconic spot in the city, representing local cuisine. The foie mi-cuit was delicious, just as I remembered, and the duck breast and calamari were excellent. The waiter served us with a certain degree of deference compared to other tables, which was a shame, but it didn't dampen my enthusiasm for returning and showing the place to my daughter.

23/02/2026: Excellent dishes: a divine foie gras and truffle eggs, followed for me by the superb beef fillet with fries cooked in beef fat, and for dessert a canelé and a chocolate and praline cake! A lovely wine list and an impressive collection of Armagnacs to finish! The service was excellent and very friendly, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, and you feel right at home in its warm atmosphere; we loved the wood fire for grilling the meats and the meat display case at the entrance.

15/03/2026: Loyal, local customer. Relatively short wait and sunny weather because we wanted to have lunch by the water. Another perfect experience today: sunshine, happy customers, a full terrace, excellent food; three covers, all satisfied, with a big thumbs up for the tuna tataki with its pickled onions and julienned vegetables, marinated and perfectly crisp, as well as the mullet ceviche and the seared octopus! We'll be back, as usual!

16/03/2026: The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, good service, and decent food at reasonable prices. However, I had lunch there today with one of my patients, a 97-year-old woman. We were seated near the entrance at my request, and I noticed that the front door remained open once we were seated. I got up to close it and noticed that the manager didn't approve. So I asked if I could close it, and she replied that it was difficult because there was a strong odor in the section where we were sitting. I asked her what odor it was. She replied that she didn't know, but that it smelled strong. I then asked her if she was referring to me, and she replied no, but that it smelled strong. I remained silent, left the door open, and went to sit down. We finished our meal without dessert, and I went to pay the bill. I didn't dare say anything, knowing there were other people around and I didn't want to be disrespectful or cause a scene in front of the other customers. So I just called the establishment, but I couldn't reach the manager, who was unavailable. I asked them to pass on my message to the manager, which is: 1/ I find her comment and attitude extremely inappropriate, lacking in tact, respect, and humanity! 2/ It's unacceptable to leave a 97-year-old woman eating in a drafty room. 3/ When I got to the checkout, there was no problem... MONEY DOESN'T SMELL!!! 4/ I will no longer be a customer at this restaurant. I have absolutely no interest in lining the pockets of people who have so little humanity, tact, and consideration for their customers. 5/ I won't take the time to call this woman back to tell her my opinion directly, but instead, for the first time, I'm taking the time to write it online. I wish you a long and kind life surrounded by kindness. P.S.: I read your reply... it's also best if I don't add anything.
