19/09/2024: Απορώ με τις τόσο καλες κριτικές για το φαγητό. Πολύ μέτριο και τίποτε το ιδιαίτερο. Με τα ίδια χρήματα τρως σε πολύ καλύτερα εστιατόρια στο Μπορντό.

18/09/2024: Nordistes d origine, quand on vient a Bordeaux, on adore venir chez Dupont dont l équipe fait systématiquement une prestation de très grande qualité. Dupont devrait être remboursé par la sécurité sociale tellement ça fait du bien. Merci a toute l equipe

15/09/2024: A restaurant as we like it, very friendly and warm welcome from the owners Ludo and Nico, varied menu, reasonable prices, local and artisanal products, choice for vegetarians, pretty room with painting exhibitions and pleasant terrace. We feel good there, even the dog is welcoming. I recommend!

07/12/2024: A flawless meal. The dishes are innovative, wonderfully presented and a real treat for the taste buds. We chose the lobster menu and were impressed by the different presentations of a seafood that we eat regularly. The service is of high quality, the waiters attentive and caring. A big congratulations to the chef and his team!

Concert super,nourriture excellente et service rapide. Vraiment on as été surpris sa change de tout les autres restaurants à tout point.merci à l’équipe on as passé une super soirée. 12/07/2024: Delicious food and served quickly in 10 minutes. Adorable waiter. And a little extra, it’s located not far from the station. I highly recommend it if, like me, you make a connection between noon and two in Bordeaux.

08/12/2024: Do you like cheese? Then you absolutely must discover this restaurant! The Savoyard fondue is excellent. The vaulted cheese cellar had over 90 cheeses when we visited. Classified in 3 categories from the mildest to the strongest, ideal for making them in order truly a delight. Good wines to go with it! Don't forget to book otherwise it's not worth it!

06/12/2024: Un sitio muy agradable y peculiar. El menú está basado en los distintos tipos de quesos Franceses y vino. Pedimos una cazuelita de queso fundido, que venía con una tabla de embutidos y patatas asadas y también, por recomendación del camarero, otro queso fundido. Quizá hubieses sido mejor un queso fundido y una tabla de quesos variados, para no ser tan repetitivo de queso fundido. Los camareros muy amables y educados.

28/08/2024: Wow, what a delightful evening! Walking from our apartment through what initially seemed like deserted streets we entered into a lively vibrant square filled with people having a great time. Our service was wonderful as was the food. Every aspect of the food was a revelation in style and it was impeccably prepared. The wine was of course fabulous. We ended up having great conversation with the family on the next table. Genuinely fantastic and memorable, thank you.

23/08/2024: I wondered why the streets were empty, then we turned the corner and found everyone in the square by the Halle des Chartrons. Felt very much to be locals rather than tourists which was great. The food was delicious, different and beautifully presented, the service efficient and friendly.

28/09/2024: Excellent address that welcomes large groups for event celebrations. We were 60 people. Le Bon Duc offers board/wine packages with very affordable group rates. A beautifully set buffet, very good value for money! A nice room, music! A top team, available, professional and very friendly. In short, a perfect evening! Thank you Good Duke!!

04/09/2024: We decided to get off our Viking cruise and venture into town. Like getting away, definitely from the boat, but even more from tourist traps. Those are here in Blaye. I can’t blame them. They get more business that way but we actually like going where there is no English translation and where we need to try a bit more. If you are like us this is the place for you. We got no accommodations. We asked about English when we entered. There was the abrupt French NO. But we understood that and stayed put. The guy came back. We asked for two, in French, and were shown to a table where we waited and waited and waited. We were about to quietly leave since every single table that came after us, at least three, were served their drinks and food before we were even served water. We were patient. I encourage you to be. We tried our best to perfect our French and when he finally returned we ordered in French. He got a little friendlier. The food was amazing. The chef is to be commended. We would return. The last bit was being charged for three Perrier even though he only brought us two. He never brought the third. We tried, in French, to explain. He laughed and did nothing but bring us the check with a charge for three which we never received. In fact he laughed each time we attempted to ask. We finally simply paid it. You should too. They are mostly playing with you and attempting to make you a fool but I can say the food is worth it and as Americans perhaps we deserve it. You will get a great meal. Be brave. If you aren’t. You can literally simply walk up the lane about 100 feet. Many places just 100 yards away are willing to play the game but I don’t think you will eat as well. And truthfully. We need to try to walk that extra 100 feet. It will cause stress and anxiety which they believe we deserve and we probably do. If I ever return to Blaze I will return here
