07/07/2025: A regular at the place, 😞 for new pizzas...price goes from 16 euros to 18 euros, but the toppings go down. ...lots of sauce but no main ingredients, e.g., a few small pieces of chorizo, soft dough....well, I won't eat them again...

08/09/2024: A meal taken in a magnificent August setting. But very very very long service, to the point that we did not have dessert. We had each chosen an entry, we were brought two identical entries. Then I asked for a rump steak with fries and it was served in the middle of a sauce that tasted like nothing. I ask what it is and he tells me it's the duck with blueberry sauce that I asked for. Never again never again....

21/08/2024: Une très belle adresse au cœur de la station , très bon accueil , de belles assiettes copieuses, de plats de montagne mais aussi des saveurs que l’on attend pas dans un resto de montagne comme un tataki de canard … Très bon accueil aussi pour les animaux de compagnie.

07/07/2025: Even though we were unable to book, we were lucky enough to find a table for two on the splendid outdoor terrace: an enchanting corner that made the beginning of the evening even more special. In the meantime, from inside the restaurant the grill was already whispering promises of delicacies… and it kept them all. We started with an appetizer of simply divine escargot: delicate, tasty, perfectly prepared. A real delight. Next, a mixed grill with local meats (pork, lamb and beef), all cooked to perfection, accompanied by a grilled potato and an exquisite crème faisselle fermière à la ciboulette. The mixed salad, also very carefully prepared, completed the dish with lightness and balance. The quality of the local products is evident in every course: excellent choice and impeccable preparation. Unfortunately we were unable to taste the cheeses, but given the selection — also from local producers — we imagine it would have been absolutely worth it. A wonderful experience, in every way. We will definitely be back.

04/07/2025: Fantastic food, stuffed lamb was outstanding. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the gravy beautiful. The pizza was also great. Apple and rhubarb compote was amazing. All round a great restaurant.

Fabien and Amélie offer exceptionally high-quality cuisine, bordering on gourmet, with dishes bursting with flavor and creativity. Each visit is a true explosion in the mouth, a pure moment of pleasure. All this with incredible value for money in a warm, authentic setting, in the heart of a magnificent village nestled between mountains and nature. A must-see if you're in the area. And if you're a restaurant owner or looking to retrain, La Forge is a gem worth taking over: everything you need to succeed is there. A loyal clientele, a charming location, and above all, a soul. ❤️

18/09/2024: Of course you have to stop at this place, every col is a bit magic. Fortunately, this Cafe doesn't take advantage of its audience and has nice people serving good food.

11/12/2024: Le top après une journée en plein air pour se rassembler près du feu de cheminée , savourer des viandes de qualités et boire des bons digestifs!

13/11/2024: Magnifique repas avec un personnel au top et avec toujours le sourire, petit plus la viande est cuite dans la cheminée, rapport qualité prix à rien à redire. Je le recommande fortement. Pensez juste à réserver .....
