25/11/2025: The chef was extremely unpleasant to children, even when they were well-behaved. This was the first and last time I will ever return to this restaurant. I had a good impression of the restaurant before, but this gentleman's attitude has completely disgusted me now when I walk past it. I will absolutely not recommend your restaurant, which employs someone who is mean to children and has no understanding of customer service or courtesy.

28/10/2025: We were delighted by the quality of the dishes and dessert, but especially by the chef's warm welcome! He was incredibly friendly and welcoming! His expertise was immediately evident in the dishes: a delicious chicken ballotine stuffed with mushroom duxelles and an apple clafoutis that was a true delight. A wonderful discovery… a restaurant we highly recommend! 🍽✨

01/11/2025: We've been coming for years—as a couple, with our children, with friends during COVID, or with the whole family—and it's always fabulous! This place, nestled in the heart of a magnificent valley, is magical and perfect for relaxation. The staff is incredibly attentive, the property is well-maintained, and the food is excellent. A true delight; we can't wait to go back!

31/10/2025: I just spent four days and three nights there. It's very pretty, beautifully decorated, and very well located. Numerous hikes are accessible even without a car. The dormitory is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The staff is attentive, accommodating, and very kind. Special mention to Aurélie for the service and the friendly conversations :-) I highly recommend it! A real pleasure to stay in the Queyras region with you.

16/09/2025: We just returned from a four-week road trip, so it's time to share our thoughts on the places we stayed. We spent three nights at the Auberge de la Grande Ferme, and it was an exceptional stay. The room was warm, comfortable, and located at a high altitude, offering a magnificent panorama. The food was perfect: everything was homemade, and our taste buds were delighted. The team is welcoming, attentive, and always available to answer our requests. All this with incredible value for money in a warm, authentic setting, in the heart of a magnificent village nestled between mountains and nature. A must-see if you're in the area. And if you're a restaurant owner or looking to retrain, La Forge is a gem worth taking over: everything you need to succeed is there. 14/02/2026: We've been coming back every year for almost 15 years. The atmosphere and food are top-notch, and the waiters are wonderful too. They even put on a little show for my wife's 71st birthday and our granddaughter's 10th. Thank you again for this lovely moment!

25/05/2025: The welcome is very warm, the place magical and unique, surrounded by nature, overlooking the Durance Valley. The dishes are always original, from the region, with fresh and seasonal products. It's a true experience for the eyes and the taste buds. I highly recommend it.

13/01/2026: There were five of us on Monday evening, and we had a wonderful meal. I absolutely loved the blanquette! The burger and raclette were also excellent. The waitresses were very welcoming and friendly. We were even able to bring our dog. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be back on our next trip to Les Orres. The only slight downside is that it's a little chilly inside.

04/01/2026: A very bad experience. We waited 20 minutes before anyone took our order, and that was only after a large table of eight people arrived, even though there were only two of us and we had been there much earlier. Our main course arrived around 2 pm, and then no one came to see us again: At 3 pm, no one came to clear our table, nor did anyone offer us dessert or coffee. Faced with this complete lack of attention, we had to pay the bill ourselves at the counter and went to get dessert elsewhere. The service was disorganized and clearly inattentive to smaller tables. It's a shame, because it completely ruined the experience.
