09/07/2026: Tourist trap: We came with a child because they advertised a children's menu with a kids' burger online. I called in the morning to reserve and they confirmed the kids' burger. When it came time to order, there were no more options: only adult burgers at €24. Obviously, the child didn't eat half of it. The fries were potato wedges, not French fries. The ribeye steak was supposedly from the EU: where did it come from? There was a lot of waste. It's not worth the price. Only the view is worth stopping at the pass. We went to have dessert in Villar d'Arène, a few kilometers away. Reasonable prices, children's play area, peaceful village. Next time, we'll go directly to Villar d'Arène for lunch.

08/07/2026: At least once a year, when my wife and I go motorcycling to ride the mountain passes, we eat well there and there's always a great atmosphere. The owner is incredibly businesslike, even with difficult people (her patience is amazing, she deserves a medal!). They should keep up the great work, a fantastic team. Even if the staff changes a bit each season, the spirit is still there. Thank you!

05/07/2026: Creative, imaginative, and delicious dishes in a charming, old-fashioned setting. The chicken liver terrine with its marvelous chutney, the zucchini and Parmesan terrine (absolutely delicious), the refined and fragrant vegetarian mafé (magnificent), the pork with caramel and ginger, the perfectly executed tarte Tatin, and the coconut-banana cake were all superb. We wish we had a restaurant like this back home. We'll definitely be back before we leave. And I almost forgot, the shop selling homemade products across the street is also worth a visit.

08/07/2026: A very good experience at Le Grand Salon. We opted for the breakfast option and we weren't disappointed! It was very generous, varied, and a great way to start the day. The food was delicious and the service was pleasant, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's the perfect place to enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading out to explore the rest of the day. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend! ☕🥐

The service was impeccable, attentive, and pleasant from beginning to end, all within a warm and inviting atmosphere. A truly great find that I wholeheartedly recommend!

19/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at brunch. The place is cozy, the exterior is lovely and well-maintained (it makes you want to eat outside). The dishes were delicious and the prices weren't excessive for the quality of the brunch (€29). There's a choice of several starters and main courses, but everything looked good; the hardest part was choosing! Apparently, the menu changes about once a month, which will give us a reason to come back. In short, I recommend it for a pleasant Sunday lunchtime 😊

15/05/2026: Luxurious rooms. Hearty breakfast with good local products. Warm welcome. A little disappointed by the culinary quality of the dinners and the prices; 30 euros for a plate of pasta and two scoops of ice cream is expensive!

07/04/2026: It's so good to eat at L'Ourson! The team is fantastic, so warm and welcoming, and they took great care of us. We absolutely loved it! The place is superb, beautifully laid out. They use only good ingredients, have lower prices at lunchtime, and a great children's menu. In short, go for it!

30/06/2026: Where to begin? The quality of the food? The friendliness of the servers? Actually, I'd like to highlight the restrooms first. The yellow tiles are a thing of the past, the curved wall immediately charmed me, and above all, the toilet seat is a riot of colors. I admit, it might not be the most important thing to emphasize, but I wanted to mention it. Now, let's get to what really matters. We savored galettes, croziflettes, and salads. The verdict is unanimous: excellent!! And the desserts? Don't even get me started (the tiramisu is to die for). The servers are always smiling and in good spirits. I highly recommend it if you're ever in Monestier-les-Bains. The only small suggestion for improvement I'd like to make: perhaps expand the vegetarian options a little more. :) Cheers!

30/06/2026: Great stop during a motorcycle tour! We stopped here by chance on Saturday, June 27th for dinner during a motorcycle tour. The place is very cute and well-kept, perfect for a romantic dinner for two. Everyone was warmly welcomed. Superb dinner: my burger with local cheese, fries, and salad was spectacular. The lamb chops with fries my friend got were also very good. If I ever pass by Guillestre again, it will definitely be a regular stop. Highly recommended!
