That... it's a restaurant... everything is perfect, the setting (super warm), the welcome (what a pleasure to be welcomed in this way), the quality (all the products are wonderful, perfect seasoning, wonderful meat, dosage perfect dishes,…), the quantity (impossible to be hungry when leaving), the owner's wine is great, the desserts are to die for,… I simply regret not having had the courage to take the caramel waffle as second dessert 😂😜😜😜 Belgians😜

31/08/2024: A kind and warm welcome as if you were going to a friend's house, fresh and elaborate cuisine where you feel that Damien has put his whole heart into it! It was delicious! Little touches even in the toilets 😉 Our only regret: not living in the area to come back more often and try the menu which changes regularly 😊 Thank you for this moment of sharing!

Accueil et service de grande qualité, tant par l’amabilité que le professionnalisme. Mets délicieux, vins à l’avenant, pour un rapport qualité-prix remarquable. Hautement recommandable.

Les produits du terroirs sont mis en valeur grâce à une cuisine moderne et pleine de fraîcheur. Nul doute que cet établissement doit faire partie des Bonnes Tables de Tarbes. Des Lotois de passage.

17/09/2024: A little surprised by so many rave comments... The welcome is obsequious (and contrasts with the very unfriendly, even aggressive signs in the photo) and the pompous descriptions of the dishes. The cuisine is correct, without being exceptional, the dishes are cooked and fresh. But hey, these are children's portions! This is surprising since the raw materials are not the most expensive: currently, chine and bonnite. Between 80 and 100g per person, no more. Personally, I don't go to a restaurant to be hungry when I leave! Price-wise, a little expensive all the same for a weekday lunch menu and coffee at €2.10: worth tasting! In short, more than mixed opinion.

03/09/2024: Excellent meal, copious and tasty dishes in a decor adapted to the environment. The authentic grocery store must absolutely be visited. We will return there especially as the welcome is warm. The long tables encourage discussion with other customers, it's very pleasant

29/08/2024: Passing by by chance after a hike, it was a very nice surprise for lunch. We had a blast! The meats were excellent and cooked perfectly. The quantities were more than generous, ideal after a big effort. And the service was perfect! A very very good address

07/09/2024: Restaurant booked at the last minute, our group of 6 friends was happily welcomed 20 minutes later. The food is delicious, the team is great and caring. Listening, passionate about their work and all with humor. We were passing through the region but we are happy to have discovered this table. We totally recommend this restaurant. 04/09/2024: We arrived late and the restaurant was full but they offered us to eat in the lounge on the sofas. It was actually super comfortable! We were very well received, the lady who served us was extremely kind and we ate very well. Original and very good dishes. We recommend without hesitation!

02/08/2024: A beautiful family home where we have always been happy to return for almost 3 decades. I reserved a table stating that it was my mother's birthday. I forgot to say it again on the big day. Fortunately, not them. My mother was surprised to have a candle and a beautiful birthday plaque (in chocolate) on her dessert. She was delighted. The menu was succulent and refined. The perfect quantities. Large selection of wines. Appetizers and sweets appreciated. Very great kindness from everyone, and great care for the well-being of our dog. Big plus: the digestive walk to go to the ND de la Piétat chapel, a must.

20/08/2024: All very good but I don't give it 4 stars because of the slightly high price of some things. Good coffee, delicious cookies and muffins too. The cheese board with little quantity for the price. For the rest everything is fine!

19/08/2024: Passing through during a motorcycle trip, I was warmly welcomed in this small restaurant which I recommend 100%. Flawless for the service, the cuisine and the price. Plus, I even got some great recommendations on what to do/visit in the area. I would come back without any hesitation, thank you very much to the whole team!

28/09/2024: This isn't the first restaurant we've done with my husband. But it is by far the best of cauterets! Certainly not very big but really not disappointed. The boss can be proud. We ordered homemade sangria, then a nice little raclette. What to say? Just exquisite!!! All products are quality. The cheese (I'm a fan) .....killer! We enjoyed ourselves. Regarding the staff, they are welcoming and attentive. They came to see us several times to see if everything was okay. This is the first time I see such friendly staff with these customers. I recommend +++++! Thank you.

16/09/2024: Der Service des Restaurants ist locker, immer auf der Höhe und genauso, wie man sich das vorstellt. Das Essen ist sehr gut, allerdings hat man es als Vegetarier (auch hier) wirklich schwer: es gab jeweils nur ein vegetarisches Gericht bei der Vorspeise und der Hauptspeise (siehe beide Fotos), also gibt es schlicht nur eine Auswahl. Den Käse als Vorspeise hätte ich eigentlich nicht gewählt, er war aber sehr gut. Die Hauptspeise war Quinoa mit verschiedenen Rohkost-Gemüsen. Dies war trotz der ordentlichen Vinaigrette insgesamt ein ziemlich langweiliges und einfallsloses, vegetarisches Gericht. Es gibt wirklich hervorragende vegetarische Gerichte, die nicht darin bestehen, das Fleisch wegzulassen oder (wie hier) einen Rohkost-Beilagen-Salat zum Hauptgericht umzuwandeln. Köche wie z.B. Ottolenghi beweisen dies in vielen Kochbüchern. Auch Fleischessern würden diese Gerichte gefallen - es müsste halt nur (auch hier) gekocht werden. Wirklich schade.
