We had dinner there in the evening and then breakfast the next morning, and everything was truly excellent quality, with very reasonable prices! But what impressed us most was undoubtedly the exceptional welcome from the entire team. Every member of staff was attentive, smiling, kind, and always ready to make our stay enjoyable. It's genuinely heartwarming to see, especially in a time when such kindness is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare. We have an 11-month-old baby, and there's even a high chair available. He was very comfortable in it, and the staff were so kind to our little one, which really touched us. Thank you! ✨ A special mention goes to Manon, who showed remarkable gentleness, patience, and kindness towards us. Their professionalism and kindness truly contributed to making our experience even more enjoyable. Honestly, we didn't encounter a single unpleasant person during our stay; quite the opposite, in fact. The entire team deserves to be commended for their warm welcome and excellent service. At 12:56 PM, we arrived as a family—two adults and one child—at this "restaurant," which states on its Google page that it's open from 12 PM to 3 PM. The manager opened the door only to tell us, "I'm full, I'm not taking anyone else," and then slammed the door in our faces without hesitation, even though several tables appeared to be free both inside and outside the restaurant. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality. Beyond the refusal, we didn't hear a "hello," "sorry," or "goodbye." Being able to serve meals doesn't make you a restaurateur. You clearly lack some fundamental skills, or perhaps they're only known to a select few regulars. I don't usually leave negative reviews on Google, but this refusal, both in substance and in form, deserves to be highlighted.

18/08/2026: Born in Valras, I return to this restaurant every year for the fresh sea bream tartare and the complexity of the dishes that make us feel pampered. Valras has been dying for a long time, which is why I'm leaving a review of my second favorite place. In a seaside resort, you don't want to spend your money on frozen food and mass-produced service. At Le Sépia, you're in the right place: gastronomic quality at the prices of the line-caught fresh fish restaurants of yesteryear. Unfortunately, I couldn't come this year during my visit, but I'm counting down the months until I can eat well again. We must support restaurateurs who maintain the love and quality of our local produce. I highly recommend it to lovers of stimulated taste buds; truly, bravo for persevering despite the changing tourism landscape. So, for those ready to enjoy a quality experience, it's simple: Le Sépia is among the three or four restaurants that still serve homemade, fresh, and affordable food. See you next year!

Regarding the frequently mentioned wait time: Yes, it did take a while – but after all, you want to enjoy a nice, relaxing evening, not be stuck in a fast-food joint. 😉 Our eleven-year-old son also ate the entire menu and loved it.
