16/09/2024: We came there in 2019, in the middle of the yellow vest crisis. We had an excellent time: very clean room, large enough and adorable manager who took care of us. We would use exactly the same hotel!

13/09/2024: A very good address, fresh and quality products, cuisine made with love and minute cooking. People who complain about waiting in high season when the restaurant is quite full, you don't know what minute cooking is (it takes time unlike reheating!) The service was also impeccable and very pleasant. The setting is also perfect. People who complain about the price just don't know how to differentiate frozen products from fresh, quality products. The price is therefore entirely reasonable in view of the quality of the products and also taking into account the framework which justifies significant charges on the land. In short, we are delighted to have discovered this address and we will recommend it to everyone who passes through the region!

15/09/2024: 88,02 euros pour une nuit en couple comprenant la chambre, la taxe de séjour et 2 petits déjeuners à 9,90 euros. Niveau rapport/qualité, je dirais excellent. Sur la chambre: propre, spacieuse, salle de bain avec douche et WC indépendants, terrasse privatives, très bonne literie, lit de 160 cm je pense, oreillers supplémentaires à disposition, TV bien proportionnée avec les chaînes de Canal + et BEIN, bureau, verres et 1 bouteille d'eau à disposition, serviettes de toilettes largement suffisantes, distributeurs de savon au lavabo et dans la douche. Pour moi qui, à titre professionnel, passe au minimum 150 nuits par an et ce, depuis plusieurs décennies, dans les hôtels et à 90 % dans les "NOVOTEL", dont le prix des chambres est compris entre 120 et 170 euros et le petit déjeuner entre 15 et 25 euros (selon s'il y a du saumon fumé ou non au petit déjeuner), je considère que pour un établissement tel que celui-ci, de style chalet, au calme et à l'écart du bruit des voitures et autres nuisances sonores, c'est l'idéal, Certains petits plus qui font la différence, tel qu'une table basse à l'étage avec un micro onde, des boissons chaudes solubles, de l'eau, des tasses pour ceux qui peuvent arriver tard ou se lever très tôt est très appréciable et peu commun. Pourvu d'un ascenseur même s'il n'y a que 2 étages. Le seul minime désagrément, chambre 8, est qu'elle est situé à côté des escaliers menant au 2ème étage donc un peu de bruit lors des arrivée des clients mais tellement superficiel par rapport au reste. Petit déjeuner très convenable: charcuterie, fromage, œufs durs, yaourt, viennoiserie, pains, 3 gammes de boissons froides, boissons chaudes tout ce que l'on peut avoir besoin, juste l'ajout d'un appareil à cuisson pour faire un œuf à la coque serait le bienvenu. Personnel cordial et compétent. Concernant le restaurant, Bistronomique... Effectivement nous avons pris le menu le plus cher à 47 euros, 2 jours de vacances en 5 ans, on peut se faire une petit peu plaisir. L'entrée, un vrai délice, saumon frais mariné, simplement exceptionnel et avec des produits, vu leur goût et leur teneur, qui ne sortaient certainement pas du congélateur ou du supermarché. Pour mon épouse ensuite, pièce de bœuf aux morilles, aux très nombreuses morilles, accompagnée de légumes de saisons cuisinés comme nous n'avons pas l'habitude de manger et pour moi, mousseline de truite. Les 2 plats chauds étaient autant délicieux que l'entrée. En dessert, assiette très copieuse de fromage pour moi et café gourmand pour mon épouse où l'on sentait que les pâtisseries étaient vraiment maison. 28,50 euros pour une bouteille de Bourgogne Haute Côte de Beaune en 75 cl, c'est vraiment plus que raisonnable dans un restaurant, même si le vin était encore un peu jeune. Nombreuses personnes au service, très agréables qui, pour autant, ne vous pressent pas et nous avons même pu finir notre apéritif avant que vienne l'entrée, ce qui est de plus en plus rare. Je ne peux que très fortement recommander cet établissement, autant pour la structure hôtelière que pour son restaurant.

02/09/2024: Passing through Montroland following a sporty hike, to enjoy the site after the effort we asked at 11am if it was possible to drink a coffee outside. The answer was no, we don't do that. Too bad the service doesn't make you want to come back to a restaurant.

16/11/2024: Very well maintained hotel, the rooms are spacious and modern, large bathroom. The breakfast is very good, the pastries are fresh and you can cook eggs according to the desired cooking. The welcome is warm and communicates a lot of information. The adjoining restaurant offers a beautiful menu with cordial service. I recommend the trout actually caught in the fountain next door and very well cooked

30/09/2024: Be careful when you reserve a room 5 months in advance, for 86€ and when you arrive you are told that there are no more and that you are given a room for 120€ and in addition that we charges you €120. There is definitely a stewardship problem. Finally, for me, I have already been upgraded at no extra cost.

24/01/2025: We had dinner there 2 evenings in a row. I particularly recommend the pork with wine sauce cooked at low temperature for 49 hours. As a digestive, the homemade raspberry liqueur goes very well after the very beautiful Jura 3 cheese fondue

19/01/2025: We had an appointment to meet you at 7:30 p.m., the dishes being served at 9:22 p.m., almost 2 hours of waiting for a fondue and a Burger is really unacceptable!!! They give us a small basket of bread for the fondue, the fondue was barely halfway over, we had no more bread, we asked the waiter for bread and a carafe of water, the carafe of water being served at the table. 'besides, the basket of bread never arrived, we went to get it ourselves at the bar!!! I honestly advise you not to go there!! Coming from redheads, I find this unacceptable!!! 👎🏼

29/09/2024: The setting is magnificent, if you are looking for a warm welcome, this is the brasserie. I recommend the salads which for my part are the most beautiful and hearty in the Jura.

14/09/2024: We went there following a recommendation and we had an amazing evening. The menu is perfectly executed and the wine selection is on point! As a starter we had "la croûte aux morilles" which I will remember forever. It was delicious, I can't even describe it, you should just experience it yourself. We also had the trout gravelax which was perfect and well balanced too. As a main we got one "fondue d'la forêt" (you'll need to order a fondue for at least 2 persons) and it was really good a copious. The fish with risotto was also cooked perfectly and had so many flavours. As a dessert we had a crêpe and a chocolate pie. After a copious meal we were a little bit afraid that a chocolate pie would be too heavy but it wasn't at all! It was delicious! When it comes to the wine, you'll be able to find one to your taste given their large selection (most of them are natural wine). They know all of them and will be able to help you find your own favorite :) If you're in the region and want to experience some local cuisine and famous dishes, go there you won't regret it.
