08/12/2025: It's a disgrace! We get a snide remark when we show up with 3 people instead of 4, and then we have a reservation with a €60 deposit made that morning. They cancel the reservation an hour before by text message. It's a disgrace, Madam!

10/07/2026: Avoid at all costs!! We wanted to have a drink on the terrace and were served by an extremely unfriendly and unpleasant waitress (around fifty years old) when we ordered. She seems to be there every day… We were too embarrassed to leave… just because you have a central location doesn't mean you can treat your customers with disrespect!

09/07/2026: The only place open in Morez besides fast food. The food was decent, but the meal was ruined by flies. We spent our time swatting them away and trying not to eat them!

05/08/2026: Absolutely avoid this place! We came simply for a drink and waited 25 minutes without anyone bothering to take our order. The place wasn't even very full, but the staff were remarkably unresponsive and unmotivated. The service was deplorable. It's a shame, we can't give it zero stars when it didn't deserve any more.

15/05/2026: Second stay at this hotel. We booked a deluxe suite with a spa bath, half-board, and access to the relaxation area. We were, however, a little disappointed with the first meal, as the set menu was mandatory with no choice available, but this wasn't mentioned when we booked, which was a shame. For the second evening, we had the gourmet menu with a choice of two courses, and it was an exquisite meal! During our first stay, for just one night, we enjoyed the gourmet menu from the very first evening. We even extended our stay by an extra night in a standard room with the half-board option, which also included the gourmet menu. Despite this, our stay was pleasant. The staff is excellent, and the second evening's meal was delicious.

26/07/2026: What a terrible restaurant! The waiter dropped sauce on us and just gave us a tissue and that was it. The food was delicious though.

26/07/2026: Beautiful interior decor, local cuisine with generous and delicious dishes, and the terrace is equally pleasant. Highly recommended!

09/08/2026: As always, it was perfect. Today I tried a small cake, still as delicious as ever. Last time, it was ice cream. The welcome was very friendly and the terrace was lovely. Thank you ☺️

09/07/2026: The welcome was unpleasant; we didn't feel welcome. It's a shame because the setting is really great and the ice cream is good.

23/05/2026: We were very glad to find a place in Foncine-le-Bas as the weather was bad. The manager was available and accommodating regarding our arrival time. The hostel and the room were a bit dated but adequate for our needs as a refuge. However, €225 for two people for this room, a bland menu (a small chicken leg of unknown origin and a potato gratin for the main course, and a homemade rhubarb tart for dessert, which was appreciated). Breakfast was also quite basic and of poor quality. We ordered two minimalist ham and white baguette sandwiches for the next day. The owner seemed exhausted from work and was rather rushed. The value for money was definitely not there. We then stayed at the Hôtel des Clochettes du Risoux in La Chapelle des Bois, a much better place for significantly less money. I should point out that my partner thinks I'm fair, but the poor boss, miskina, it's not right for her.

09/08/2026: Great restaurant. I come here every time my work takes me to Lons. I always have a wonderful meal. I always try a new dish and I'm never disappointed. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I love the style of the restaurant. The food is excellent and locally sourced. I mentioned that it was a shame, given the quality of the food, to serve the mayonnaise in packets. The owner told me that next time, I just had to ask and he would serve me homemade mayo. Well done and thank you. I recommend it 100%.
