01/11/2024: Merci chers restaurateurs pour le plaisir que vous nous donnez dans l’assiette et dans l’accueil ! On se sent bien chez vous et la cuisine maison est un régal. Spécialités comtoises délicieuses, mais aussi la croûte aux bons champignons d’automne, le jarret de porc confit (une tuerie!), la bavette… Un restaurant à connaître absolument !

22/08/2024: Très belle découverte que ce petit restaurant au pied du massif de la Serre. Restaurateurs très sympathiques et accueillants. Très bonne cuisine.

03/12/2024: I liked it as it is good for a truck driver. Parking for LKV somewhere for 40-50 cars. Mini cost 17.90e, this full price includes food. The toilet is clean, there is no shower.

28/11/2024: Roadside restaurant that lives with its regulars. Average cuisine. The paupiette is way overcooked and is really not a paupiette. The crème brûlée is just not burnt. So it becomes a cream with sugar on top. For €16.90 it’s really limited.. The wait is long.

The restaurant is great, we ate very well there. Good and delicious. The staff is attentive, friendly, welcoming.... Very generous breakfast. I recommend 200%

26/11/2024: A witch and not a boss. I can't tell you about the quality of the dishes or the decoration since I couldn't get to this stage. No, before that, you will unfortunately have to go through the witch who runs the place. Indeed, I had the responsibility of having to find an exceptional establishment to organize an exceptional meal for the retirement of an exceptional man. It all starts with visiting the site. Unfortunately I did not find the personalized service I wanted. I try an email explaining the request and the surprise we wanted. I take the time to detail over ten lines to highlight the importance of this gift. In response: “please refer to our site” So I decided to call, specifying that I had of course visited their site without finding what I was looking for. I come across the haughty witch who explains to me that she has no time to waste, who cuts me off, asks me to get to the subject of my call but cuts me off. The nerves are building but I take it upon myself. This is a gift. That is my objective. Nothing happens. She explains to me that she is the boss and that she did what she wanted. No time to explain and place one. This is too much. I told him stop, I wouldn't put 1 euro in your establishment. We leave it there. Just writing it still makes my teeth grind. Run away. So much bad vibes and gratuitous nastiness deserves only the minimum possible.

As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who immediately put us at ease, and this moment set the tone for a memorable evening. We started with an aperitif in front of the fireplace, a cozy and pleasant atmosphere which allowed us to relax before the meal. A real moment of conviviality and sharing. The meal itself was a real feast. We opted for a **four-course** menu, followed by a **cheese** platter and **dessert**. Suffice it to say, it was **plenty**, but every bite was a treat. The dishes were not only delicious, but also perfectly balanced, combining finesse and generosity. The chef demonstrates great mastery in the harmony of flavors and the choice of products, which made every moment of the meal unforgettable. Another striking element of the experience at La Chaumière is the attentive presence of the chef. He takes the time to regularly visit the tables to interact with the guests. This gesture adds a very human touch and further strengthens the link between the kitchen and the customers, which is not always common in starred establishments. In summary, the **Chaumière** is more than just a starred restaurant; it is a place of life and pleasure where we feel welcomed like privileged guests. If you are looking for a gourmet and warm moment, this is without hesitation an address that I highly recommend.

19/01/2025: I really liked the restaurant. Delicious food. Prepared quickly. Authentic French cuisine. Appetizers 12-16 euros, main course 25-30 euros, dessert 5-8 euros, coffee 2.5 euros.

10/12/2024: Locale pittoresco e molto accogliente molto conosciuto ad Arbois. Si mangia dignitosamente spendendo pochissimo, eccellente il carrello dei formaggi, consigliatissimo per l'aperitivo, si bevono bellissime bottiglie a prezzi onestissimi, staff molto gentile e disponibile.

13/10/2024: Sur la route de nos vacances nous avons fait une halte pour déjeuner à Arbois au bistrot des Claquets. On se sent tout de suite à l'aise dans ce petit resto à la décoration vintage où l'on est accueilli avec le sourire dans une ambiance décontractée. Cuisine familiale et goûteuse comme on aime !!!! Bon rapport qualité prix...on ne peut faire que des compliments ...

25/08/2024: Repas excellent, chaque plat choisi était succulent avec une belle présentation. L’équipe est sympathique et le restaurant est très beau.

03/08/2024: Op het eerste zicht niet erg veelbelovend, maar mooie suggestiekaart. Zeer goed gegeten, zowel de gamba’s als de zwezeriken correct klaar gemaakt. Leuk terras, vriendelijke bediening. Enkel de wijnkaart mocht iets uitgebreider en lokaler.
