09/07/2025: Disappointed with the menu, there isn't much choice left, even the burgers you can't add a steak anymore. As for dessert, my daughter and I had chocolate mousse which is also unlimited. Unfortunately, the mousse wasn't completely liquid, it was still 1:30 p.m. and the desserts weren't ready!!!! So disappointed with my visit.

(Very generous portion) The fries were very good, however, the sliced ​​white bread toast could have been replaced with a slice of country bread or simply omitted. The service was too slow, but the waitress was very pleasant.

Longtime regulars, we even knew the previous owners and were delighted to learn that the new ones had already taken over a year ago: the food is still just as good. With our drinks, we were served appetizers – a lovely touch. We chose a Welsh rarebit (a regional specialty) with delicious fries: generous and flavorful. For dessert, a vacherin ice cream sundae was a real treat. The owners are very friendly, and it's clear that the clientele is mostly regulars, a sign of a great reputation. I highly recommend this restaurant – quality, a warm welcome, and dishes that make you want to come back.

28/02/2026: As someone from Vendée, I discovered during my stay the Estaminet la Baguernette restaurant, a very nice discovery, a decoration that lived up to my expectations, a succulent Welsh rarebit, a very good time spent with my dear sister.

My only complaint is the wait, but I don't want to blame the waiter who was constantly rushing around. Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat dessert or coffee. It took far too long. And what also bothered me, after observing the other diners, was a family who arrived with a barking dog in the dining room. I discreetly asked the other customers about it, and I wasn't the only one bothered by the dog, which was spoiling our pleasant family meal. I don't think Mr. Leleu would have appreciated it either. Yet, as I said, this place is a part of my childhood. I even celebrated a wonderful occasion here for my husband's medal, who has since passed away. I hope to get some feedback because I don't understand.

04/02/2026: As regulars at the brasserie for several years now, we have our ritual: reserving a table (7), even if we sometimes end up seated elsewhere despite our best efforts. We eat quickly, given our work schedules. The dishes are varied and delicious. The staff is pleasant, despite the recent turnover of some long-standing members who were very much a part of the establishment and always satisfied customers. A special shout-out to the new cook who prepared this magnificent and beautifully presented kebab for us. Best of luck to everyone! 😉

16/01/2026: We had lunch at noon; the drinks service was very quick. However, the wait for our food order was too long. Once we ordered, the food was served fairly quickly. The Welsh rarebit was good, but the fries were too ordinary, which was a shame. The price was very reasonable.

23/11/2025: I've been a regular customer of this establishment for six months, but for the past two weeks I've been checking who's serving before going in because, unfortunately, there's only one waitress behind the counter, and she's completely unsuited to the job. I go elsewhere when she's there. No smile, an unwavering coldness, and no customer service whatsoever—a robot would be warmer. Madam, this profession is not for you.
