23/04/2026: SURPRISING AND DISAPPOINTING❗ This establishment is categorized as a "truck stop" restaurant. The quality of the main course, or other dishes, leaves much to be desired, as the concept of a "truck stop" restaurant is a limited menu of a few simple and hearty dishes, and therein lies the problem: all I got was "a fillet of pollock with wild garlic velouté" and steamed potatoes. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED TO SEE A SMALL DEEP PLATE ARRIVE IN WHICH WAS, IN ITS CENTER, A SMALL SQUARE OF WHITE FISH (FROZEN WITHOUT BULL) SURROUNDED, IN ALL, BY THREE SMALL, SLIGHTLY OVAL POTATOES, CUT IN HALF, BARELY FIVE CENTIMETERS BY THREE, THAT IS, INTO SIX HALF POTATOES, ARRANGED IN A WELL-SPACED ROSETTE COVERED WITH A THIN LAYER OF TWO MILLIMETERS OF A WILD GARLIC VELOUTÉ. If this establishment is a truck stop, it's meant for truck drivers on a diet! Quite surprising! I was left wanting more and still hungry!

28/06/2026: The place to be in Mortagne-au-Perche! Friendly atmosphere 👍 outdoor terrace with a big screen. Pizza 🍕 on Friday nights! I recommend it!

29/05/2026: Jérôme and Damien, the managers, are very friendly. A welcoming place with a back terrace. Large screen for events such as the World Cup (football and rugby), and the 24 Hours of Le Mans – great atmosphere. I recommend it.

16/11/2025: Haven't rated the food as we didn't eat here. The restaurant was busy and when we walked in not one staff member attended to us, we had to literally stop a member of staff to ask for a table for 2. They just shrugged and pointed to a table of 6 nearby. We then had to get more attention to get menus. Then again to order to be told there was no steak left in a rude way. So we just left. There was a noisy atmosphere and a bit pub like at the bar area which didn't make it feel like a restaurant. It is a big place with 2 floors, but they need to have enough staff to cope with the size they can cater for and train their staff better. Whilst we were waiting I noticed others also struggling to get attention and quite a lot of food left on plates, which is bever a good sign.

14/06/2026: We were out bikepacking and stopped at this brasserie. A very pleasant and friendly person let us take a break and we put our bikes inside to rest on a rainy and windy day...a big thank you!

12/07/2026: A pleasant restaurant with friendly and competent staff. Good food at a reasonable price. A little tip: it's best to book ahead as it's very popular. Good value for money for the €32 set menu. Always excellent and very friendly waitresses. Today we ate on the terrace with blankets for those who get chilly as it's often windy.

09/07/2026: A nice restaurant that saved my bacon on my bike trip south. The food was great, but I had to wait 15 minutes to be served, and the place is located on a main road. It was absolutely packed inside on a Thursday lunchtime!

12/04/2026: We were slightly disappointed when we visited La Scierie restaurant. The menu on their website is unfortunately incorrect or completely outdated. It's a real shame to look at the menu online, imagine what to expect, and then realize once you arrive that the information is wrong. A quick update to their online menu would be greatly appreciated to avoid this kind of frustration for customers.

21/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, very warm welcome, the food is always delicious and the prices are reasonable.

29/05/2026: Excellent meal. The lobster was cooked to perfection. Accompanied by excellent dauphine potatoes.

27/05/2026: The seafood was good, but the table for two was very small; there wasn't enough room to eat comfortably, and we were practically sitting next to other customers. The seafood ice cream melted very quickly, and the seafood and mayonnaise ended up swimming in water. The portion of butter served with the platter was tiny.

07/07/2026: We got married at L'Hermitage on July 4, 2026. What can I say... Simply magnificent... Everything was perfect. Honestly, you are exceptional people. You made our wedding a dream come true. 💗 The meal was amazing... Hats off to the chef! 😊 The service was exceptional, the servers were so kind... Attentive, available, and always with a thoughtful touch... And the venue itself, a gem... A verdant, peaceful setting... 💗 Truly nothing to add, keep up the good work... You are the best. 05/06/2026: You order a sugar-free Coke, and it tastes like cherry. You order your meal and an ice cream at the kiosk. The kiosk asks if you want the ice cream later or with your meal. I specify with your meal, and they serve you your meal without the ice cream. I ask for it, and they tell me I have to go get it myself at the counter. That doesn't make sense!

04/06/2026: We ordered two Giant Cheese burgers with a regular Giant burger for €1 extra. In the end, we were served four regular Giant burgers! Plus cold fries. Honestly, do your job! We pay to get the burger we ordered!!!
