18/06/2026: During a day trip to Boulogne, we arrived around noon at the Auberge du Goulet and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and very professional, the service was excellent, and there was great entertainment with Phiphi. So if you want to have a good time in Boulogne, I highly recommend it. Thank you to the owners and staff for the welcome.

28/06/2026: Excellent place! Warm welcome, impeccable service, friendly staff genuinely wanting to satisfy their customers…and make them happy, which is worth mentioning as it's quite rare! A pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. A varied menu, delicious dishes undoubtedly prepared with care and a love for the craft – our taste buds could tell! Located on a small one-way street, without any ostentatious signs, this restaurant has all the hallmarks of a great place and will undoubtedly ensure you have a wonderful time…so don't miss out! Go for it!

25/06/2026: Many restaurants complain about a lack of customers, but here they outright refuse them. On a Sunday at 8:23 pm, there were about ten empty tables... It's sad, especially when you point it out to the blond guy who "greets" you. So sure of himself, he's perfectly within his rights to refuse... Don't be surprised if you get inspected by the consumer protection agency (DGCCRF).

29/06/2026: I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this time I feel compelled to. We waited 45 minutes before a waiter informed us that our food simply hadn't been sent to the kitchen. No apology, no effort whatsoever from the staff, which was all the more frustrating since all the tables around us had already been served. When the mussels and fries finally arrived, the disappointment continued: tasteless mussels, undercooked fries, and no salt or sauce on the table. For such a simple dish, it's hard to understand. When it came time to pay the bill, we noticed an oversight that seemed intentional. We won't be eating here again. The quality of the food and the organization of the service clearly need improvement. It's a real shame, especially in a town like Le Touquet where one has the right to expect better.

07/05/2026: Since January, I've been going to this restaurant three times a week and I'm never disappointed. The atmosphere is always great, the weekly special is simply excellent, and the pizzas are delicious! The service is just as good as the food: perfect!

15/06/2026: Extremely disappointed!!! We came as a family intending to eat and have a pleasant time. Our son simply didn't want anything as he wasn't feeling well. We then discovered that here, even a child who isn't hungry or thirsty has to order something to be allowed to stay seated at a table. Faced with this situation, we decided to leave. The most surprising thing isn't what we experienced, but rather realizing afterward that many reviews seem to describe experiences similar to ours. We thought we had just caught them on a bad day. Clearly, several customers before us had the same feeling about the service and how certain situations were handled. Reading the responses to the negative reviews, we mainly got the impression that self-reflection was never offered and that blame was systematically placed on the customers. Yet, when the same complaint is repeated regularly, it can be helpful to examine its cause rather than assuming that all customers are necessarily at fault. We ourselves work in customer-facing roles and know that a business thrives thanks to its clientele. Listening, kindness, and a strong sense of service should be second nature, especially in a tourist town where visitors are primarily looking for a pleasant experience. Whether she was a waitress or the owner, regardless of her role, we found this person particularly unprofessional and unpleasant. No smile, no listening, no desire to understand the situation or find a solution. We felt that our presence was more of a nuisance than anything else. When working in retail and food service, customer service and interpersonal skills should be a priority. Unfortunately, this is absolutely not the impression we received today. A very disappointing experience that leaves us with no desire to return. We left without ordering anything, but with the feeling that we now fully understand why some negative reviews appear so frequently. Finally, the woman indicated that she would be happy to respond to my Google review. I therefore have no doubt that a reply will arrive soon. If this is yet another example of asking customers to “respect your profession,” then I urge you to reflect on what this profession truly represents. Respect for the restaurant industry begins with a warm welcome, a smile, attentive listening, and consideration for customers. These are the fundamental principles of the profession, and unfortunately, this is absolutely not what we experienced on Saturday, June 13, 2026. For our part, we will not be returning. If you have children who don't want to eat, avoid this place!

15/05/2026: From starter to main course and dessert, I found them all to be very good. The staff is very friendly, and there are always a few amuse-bouches as accompaniments, which is a nice touch. The service is quick and efficient, and the dishes are beautifully presented. I would especially like to highlight the duck breast with its sweet potato purée (?) which was divine and cooked to perfection! If you're not from the area, I also recommend the cheese platter featuring exclusively regional cheeses. Finally, a small detail: the menu changes weekly, as far as I understand. However, one slightly disappointing aspect was the armchairs. They were very comfortable, but when you're tall like me (over 1.85m), your knee touches the table, making the position rather uncomfortable. But that didn't change my opinion; despite that, it was a very enjoyable experience!

14/05/2026: Arrived at 1:33 PM, after a detour. There were 10 people in the restaurant. We asked for a table for 3. The response was that they no longer take orders after 1:30 PM! For 3 minutes...

24/04/2026: We came as a family during the kite festival, and all the restaurants were packed. The waiter kindly arranged our table for nine on the terrace, but we had a wonderful time. The food was simple but good, excellent value for money, and the sunny terrace was lovely. The waiters were very friendly and attentive! I highly recommend it!

26/04/2026: A pleasant and friendly surprise! I went with my husband and two daughters, and we found the clientele to be welcoming. We received excellent service, the waiters were pleasant, the food was exquisite, and the setting was lovely (a small garden with an aviary and a well-maintained fish pond). We had a wonderful time.¹

19/05/2026: Friendly welcome. Excellent, hearty but easily digestible Welsh rarebit with good value for money. Don't hesitate to mention if you have a specific time to respect, as a family meal was taking place the day we visited and we had a bit of a wait, which prevented us from enjoying one of the desserts that we were really looking forward to! We definitely intend to come back to make up for it!
