22/03/2026: Upon arrival, the exterior of the hotel wasn't great. The bar and restaurant had pleasant decor. The superior room (340) was adequate except for the outdated windows, tiny bathroom with noisy plumbing, and no soundproofing. The standard rooms were very dreary. The pool was a good size and the temperature was perfect, but the surrounding area, ceiling, and staircase were really unpleasant to look at. Dinner was good but too large for my taste (especially the ravioli). Breakfast was good except for the low-quality honey. The staff were charming and attentive. In short, for me, it's a good establishment, but not up to the standard of a three-star hotel I frequent. The main drawback, for me, is that the rooms need to be made more welcoming.

16/03/2026: The hotel is really well located, with a superb view of Mont Dore and the valley. The heated pool also has a view. The room was very nice. The restaurant was excellent; we ate very well, both the cocktails and the main courses were truly high quality. We had our baby with us, and they were very easy to work with and well-suited to our needs. And the staff were absolutely fantastic. A huge thank you for your warm welcome, your helpfulness, and your attentiveness in every department (reception, restaurant manager, housekeeping, breakfast staff, etc.).

13/02/2026: We come from time to time, and our taste buds are always pleasantly surprised and delighted. The service and the friendliness of the staff are second to none. It rivals any restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand. A must-try.

22/01/2026: A truly excellent restaurant, offering refined cuisine made with very local produce and a daily menu with original flavors. For €20, you get a choice of two starters, a main course of slow-cooked meat (often lamb, which is rare in restaurants) with beautifully presented fresh vegetables and frequently a touch of fruit, all prepared in a tagine style. It's always a delight. And at least two desserts to choose from. Whenever I go alone, I can always get a table, even if it means a short wait. In the summer, there are tables in the shaded courtyard. A real pleasure!

30/12/2025: Excellent brasserie! Despite our late arrival and lack of a reservation, even though the place was full, they found us two seats. The meal was very good, made with quality ingredients. The service was a little slow, but that's to be expected on December 25th. 😁

05/03/2026: A little disappointed: last night, with my wife. The meat wasn't the weight indicated, the bread wasn't fresh, and the sauces were cold. However, the meat itself was very good.

12/03/2026: A great place to enjoy local dishes made with regional products. The platter intended for two (cheese, charcuterie, crudités) was actually for four, and we couldn't finish it there. We asked them to pack it up! Draft beer, house wine, and calf's head were on the menu this week. The service was impeccable, and the staff were friendly. The terrace is a bonus, offering a lovely view of the facades and architecture of this small town.

05/03/2026: It seems this brasserie has recently changed ownership. The food, classic brasserie fare, is good and the portions are generous. The staff is pleasant, although they seem a little unsure of their footing.
