27/09/2026: We came with family and friends. The welcome was exceptional and wonderful. The meal was superb, generous, and excellent. Their creamy mushroom, chestnut, and egg soup was divine, their lamb shank melted in your mouth, and the chocolate mousse was light and airy. Thank you for these wonderful moments shared.

The host came across as arrogant, although I will say that our waiter was kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was so disappointing that the entire experience felt like a waste of time.

The welcome is warm, the local cuisine delicious on the shaded terrace, and the heated pool is pure bliss under the Var sun. A truly special place to recharge your batteries far from everything. 27/04/2026: A very warm welcome. A very pleasant overnight stay, with high-quality, homemade cuisine. Tonight, we had warm goat cheese (perfectly seasoned), leg of lamb with vegetables and cauliflower that was truly delicious, and an assortment of homemade desserts – a very enjoyable evening. Thank you.

18/04/2026: I've known this restaurant since I was a child; my parents loved stopping there to eat. Now I'm a grandfather, and I still go there. It's on the way to our holiday home in the summer. I really enjoy their Provençal daube, and the saffron milk caps when they have them. But generally speaking, the dishes are always well-prepared and delicious. I recommend stopping there for a pleasant meal; the service is always friendly.

09/09/2026: They're trying to do more than they can. The food is artfully presented, but the cooking is merely average. The biggest outrage, however, is that I, as a guest, was forced to order dessert along with the appetizer and main course. Even when I asked if I could decide later, they refused. I've never experienced anything like it! Someone here clearly doesn't understand their profession and is completely incompetent! We will never set foot in this restaurant again.

19/09/2026: What more can I say? A 5-star experience led us to this lovely, shady inn, nestled in a peaceful, verdant setting with a trout lake. The owners are incredibly friendly, and the home-style cooking is excellent. We had a wonderful day. Thank you so much.

25/09/2026: My sweetheart and I went to eat at this crêperie. The crêpes were very good. Since I'm gluten intolerant, the waiter asked the chef to prepare a gluten-free batter so I could enjoy them too. The service was excellent, and we were delighted with our lunch.

27/08/2026: If I could give more stars, I would without hesitation! A magical moment, a unique place. Everything was perfect, and even if I tried to find something to criticize, I couldn't. A calm, peaceful place where you surrender to the creativity of the truly great chef who delights your taste buds. Exceptional dishes, unlike anything I've ever seen! We were surprised from beginning to end... the service is impeccable, with smiling, attentive staff... We had lunch when it was 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), but with the coolness of the trees and the gentle breeze, it was a real treat! The restaurant is very well located, with a small shaded parking lot... I live in the Alpes-Maritimes (department 06) and my parents live in Burgundy; we're waiting for autumn/winter to go and try new dishes! Go for it, and a huge THANK YOU to the entire team at Carré d'Ange!

The ingredients are of the highest quality, and the service, ambiance, and setting are wonderful. I highly recommend it.
