24/04/2026: I stand by my opinion, this place is still top-notch, unpretentious, but with excellent food, atmosphere, and very clean rooms. Dogs are welcome, which is a big plus these days. Thank you to Olivier and his team; we had another superb weekend.

06/04/2026: Brasserie and pizzeria. The portions are generous; the roasted Camembert with summer truffle is a delight, and the thin-crust pizzas are bigger than the plate. A very friendly place with smiling service. A simple yet effective spot!

28/08/2026: A very warm welcome despite the rain, and the food was superb: the tandoori chicken was divine. They also offer the excellent Allamande wine. The atmosphere is cozy and the place is authentic. Avoid the restaurants on the port and support true culinary enthusiasts.

17/06/2026: Attending the annual meeting of regional talking book libraries, we had lunch at the ESAT's fantastic restaurant. The portions were delicious and generous, bursting with the flavors of summer. All this was accompanied by attentive and friendly service…thank you so much 🙂

03/06/2026: Had a magnificent lunch here today. The outdoor seating was clean, serene and wonderful with free power outlets for charging, butterfly, birds singing and the sound on the water from the stream. The food was simply amazing! The best I have had in France, and that is a spectacular compliment! I don't know anything about the guest rooms, but the grounds, restaurant and lobby were all beautiful and we'll maintained.

26/05/2026: My review concerns the restaurant. Not very clean, expensive for what you get. When we ordered two flutes of champagne as an aperitif, we were brought two flutes but nothing to nibble on! Very disappointing. Visited last April

08/09/2026: Lunch in the shade on the terrace! We thoroughly enjoyed the pan bagnat, with a special mention for the iced coffee!

05/09/2026: For a long time, I found this place idyllic: "Opposite Hyères train station, a simple and friendly restaurant offering good meat and fresh vegetables. The service (the waitresses) is also appreciated—competent, pleasant, and warm." But the team has changed. It's still pleasant, but it's not at all the same level as before. So I'm lowering my rating from five stars to three.

07/05/2026: I just spent a week at this very well-located hotel (city center, very close to the beach). I had a very quiet city room. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone and will most likely return.

13/09/2026: A lunch with 13 friends from all over France. Unfortunately, the aperitif didn't include any savory snacks. Nor did the coffee. Everyone was happy with their generous portions. However, the wine was prohibitively expensive (€40/bottle). So we ate with water.

01/07/2026: My experience at Le Cabanon was very mixed. The place is lovely, the staff friendly, but I found the bill ridiculously high for what we ate! €40 per person, even without drinking alcohol, and not having time to try all the dishes because there were so few portions, left a bad taste in my mouth... The "tapas" were really basic, nothing special. The desserts, however, were absolutely delicious. It's a shame they were all served at once and that they melted in the heat of the evening. I'll have to see if the meal is worth the trip under different circumstances.

27/06/2026: The Google rating doesn't reflect what the new owner has done. Simple concept, well-crafted and expertly prepared dishes. Reasonably priced, especially at weekday lunchtimes. Very good food and excellent service! A great atmosphere in the kitchen and a friendly team, too.

02/03/2026: We celebrated a family birthday this Sunday at Thé's canteen. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the meal, Thérèse's helpfulness in organizing everything. I highly recommend it! A big thumbs up for the delicious daube! 👏👏👏

10/07/2026: Dinner and theater for 43 euros. It always feels strange to find yourself in a theater area. But the actors were great.

28/06/2026: I highly recommend them. We celebrated our son's 40th birthday there; there were about sixty of us, and we had an unforgettable evening. The organization was top-notch. A big thank you to the whole team. The price was very reasonable for the service.

15/06/2026: One evening I ordered some spring rolls from Uber Eats. They arrived at my house and were absolutely disgusting: raw meat in a vegetable soup that seemed to come out of nowhere. How can anyone cook like that? It's neither Vietnamese nor Chinese; I have no idea what it is. The spring roll was revolting, and all that for the modest sum of €60. I suggest the cook take an exam to improve her skills. If she doesn't like it anymore, she should do something else. It's just a rip-off.
