So let me leave a message...We were about to finish our drinks when the waitress (who wasn't smiling and was already unfriendly when we arrived) asked us to leave in a very inappropriate manner: "You have to leave now!" Of course, without her usual smile (she seems to have lost it along the way) or any polite formalities. Why? End of the day? Didn't she like the look of me? Does she not like her job? In short, the Toulouse hospitality is far from up to par in this brasserie.

22/09/2026: Their hours are from 9:00 to 23:00. We arrived at 22:30 at the drive-thru. The girl answered us over the loudspeaker, we waited, and there was no response. When we approached the window, they had hidden to avoid serving us. They had cleared the tables and closed 30 minutes early. What a disgrace of a staff! If you have set hours, you should stick to them.

22/09/2026: We had just arrived from a long trip. The establishment's hours were 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. We arrived at 10:30 PM and they refused to serve us. The lights were on, and the tables and chairs had been cleared away. They had closed 30 minutes earlier. From what I've read, this isn't the first time. I regret to inform the staff that the hours must be respected. I hope they will take action regarding this matter. The shift was the night shift on September 22, 2026.

Upon receiving the order, I looked for the extras (potatoes, chicken, Reblechon cheese)... I'm still looking for them, just like the basic crème fraîche (I had to give it one star, but it doesn't deserve it).

20/07/2026: Passing through the neighborhood after a stroll through La Campagne à Paris, we stopped here for a refreshing drink. We went in as tourists and left with a story. I went to order at the counter, and Alex, the owner, served me. Three Perrier lemons, two Evian lemonades, and two Americanos: €24 for the table. The walls are covered with photos of him surrounded by faces from the entertainment and political worlds—it's hard not to want to ask questions. I did, and we ended up chatting at length about his career and his life. A real character, and quite a story. So yes, you have to know what you're getting into. The brasserie has remained unchanged for over thirty-five years, and I brought the bottles to our table myself. It didn't bother me for a second, because that's precisely what makes the place special. For example: where elsewhere they might put a drop of syrup at the bottom of my son's glass, here Alex handed me the bottle and let me pour it as I wished. Authenticity, an owner who takes the time to talk. It's increasingly rare, and that's precisely why it's so memorable.
