30/09/2024: As soon as the door was pushed open, the waitress ran away and left us alone, only to be told by the waiter after a certain time, you had a reservation (it wasn't 1 p.m. there were empty tables) sorry we is full...in short they didn't get our "money". .....oops and now they want me to delete our review! But of course if it's not the waitress it's perhaps the "boss" bravo it's even worse. We had confirmation from our hosts that this was not where we should go. to the wise, hello. Period! Save yourself...

06/09/2024: Came to the restaurant late in the evening at about 10:00pm, quite a few customers dining and a nice bright atmosphere with a modern and informal ‘cafe’ setting. Staff are happy and attentive and the menu has enough variation and choice to please most tastes and pretences. A welcome cocktail on the house was a lovely surprise and a nice touch - My wife ordered a mixed starter platter food as a main course and I chose a chicken and lentil curry (along the lines of a Parsi ‘Dansak’ with a plain pilau rice). My wife’s starter arrived promptly and soon after my meal also came to the table (a little bit too fast for me to believe it was cooked with any detail or time ). Sadly, the first piece of chicken I cut into was cold so the food was sent back - it returned hot but the chicken was tough as though it had been re-heated, the sauce was thick and had an astringent taste as if spices had been added to it but not had time to cook in and mellow - tasted like a rushed base sauce had been added to but not properly cooked. My wife enjoyed her starters so they do some things well ! €17.50 for my curry without rice seems a lot to pay for ‘cafe’ style food ? From my experience today I can’t describe the curry as ‘restaurant’ quality but the prices are !? Shame, the staff are great and the atmosphere is good - I hope they can up their game ? (Suspicious of SO many 5 star reviews with 5 out of 5 for each category?)

27/08/2024: 5 stars because you can't give more! Conviviality, warmth, smiles... what a pleasure this authentic place with Marie and Alain at the helm. A great atmosphere (music and tapas), Pagnol-style anecdotes, expert knowledge of rugby and football, a service suitable for all ages, we ask for more... It lives up to its name: it really is THE café in Toulouse.

14/09/2024: The bar is super expensive and the sound quality is disgusting. With the profits from the bar you should invest in good sound. It's a shame because apart from these 2 big negative points, good events are organized here.

10/09/2024: Very nice club, too bad the whole thing is ruined by the obvious lack of self-confidence of one of the bouncers, a little bald guy with a cap who likes to be overzealous and establish a pseudo authority over regular customers. As implausible as it is unpleasant. The Rex would benefit from changing bouncers. 🤷‍♂️

06/09/2024: We tasted the yakitori beef and cheese (top), the gyuniku curry (excellent) and the banofee soufflé (nice frozen twist), the portions are very generous. Tasty food, pleasant atmosphere, impeccable service, we loved it and will come back with great pleasure. I recommend this restaurant +++

09/08/2024: It's one of our favorite restaurants in Toulouse. The staff are really lovely and very welcoming. We go there regularly. The products are really quality and if you are vegetarian, there is something to do. I recommend 100%!!

03/12/2024: We came at lunchtime, quick service, the daily menu looked really good but we preferred the pizzas which we enjoyed. Top ingredients, beautiful presentation and plentiful. For the atmosphere, I give it 3 because it was midday in the dining room. To see the atmosphere in the evening. I will come back without hesitation.

13/11/2024: Unfortunately the cook was ill... That said, a solution is possible in this case! Nothing to snack on apart from a sausage for €6 and three small packets of chips... Very little atmosphere and no one in the bar which can accommodate around 150 people... While the bar 1km away was completely full!

21/09/2024: Un restaurant très proche de l’hôtel Pullman. L’équipe est chaleureux et les mets sont fraîches avec un bon goût. Les petits déjeuners sont particulièrement bons

11/09/2024: Une expérience tout bonnement catastrophique. J'ai réservé pour un déjeuner un peu "amélioré" avec mon compagnon, dans ce lieu supposément très agréable et bon, et ce fut une belle erreur. D'une part, le cadre est assez impersonnel, très business avec une vue sur des poteaux, en gros, mais surtout au bout d'une heure, je n'avais eu que l'entrée, nous avons fini par partir et j'ai déjeuné d'un sandwich dans la rue, ce qui n'était pas exactement le plan. Mon compagnon, de son côté, a vu arriver son burger cuit à l'avance et réchauffé au four classique ou au micro-ondes, servi dans une assiette brûlante (il a été remplacé par un burger frais à notre demande).

24/07/2024: Pas de service, accueil client absent, tarif trop élevé pour le service (non) rendu. J'ai du assurer le service, passer la commande (quand le patron a bien voulu terminer sa conversation téléphonique et dire bonjour a ses amis arrivés après moi) et apporter ma commande en terrasse où nous étions installés. Même situation pour les clients de la table d'à côté.

01/08/2024: Big problem with cleanliness. No clean tables (top and side) calm day with little crowd I specify. No glasses, cutlery or carafe in suitable condition.... The toilets are in a degraded state and the exterior slide is unusable due to dirt. Meal served very limited, almost cold. Too bad the premises seem recent....

29/04/2024: The setting is very nice, the food is good but... No menu offered and above all a welcome and friendliness which are deplorable. Smiling is optional and customer service is the same.

03/09/2024: We had a very good stay at the hotel and the service was perfect. The 3 bikes and the car were in place and we were able to enjoy the many nearby passes and family walks in the mountains for 5 days. THANKS.
