19/08/2026: I received a very poor welcome… I absolutely do not recommend it. Like the previous reviews, it's all talk and no action.

19/08/2026: I very rarely leave reviews, but I think this one might be helpful to people considering going to this restaurant. The food was okay, but rather disappointing: the dishes clearly lacked flavor and character. Nothing bad per se, but I expected better. The main problem, however, was the service. The waiter was extremely unpleasant. Every time I asked a question, I felt like I was bothering him. There was no warmth or friendliness whatsoever, to the point where I felt almost uncomfortable, as if I didn't belong in the restaurant.

02/03/2026: So, how can I put it?! This restaurant has absolutely no authenticity. The garbure (cabbage soup) was disgusting, tasted like vinegar, it was awful. I even had a stomach ache that same evening. And the "Puit d'Amour" (Well of Love) dessert? Honestly, it was just ice cream with cream on top for 11 euros. Seriously, avoid this restaurant; it has nothing authentic about it, not even the owner, the cook, or the waitress. Look elsewhere; there are real mountain restaurants in Cauterets.

19/07/2026: In the heart of the Brauhauban market, a very lively and welcoming place. Pleasant and smiling staff. Fresh and delicious oysters accompanied by a very well-matched white wine. Salted butter with perfect crystals of salt. A minor point about the bread: rye bread (or country bread or traditional bread) would have provided a better flavor pairing.

25/06/2026: What a disappointment! Charlotte's pizzas are nothing like they used to be. The crust is increasingly thin, overcooked, and completely dried out. The flavor has disappeared along with the quality. It's like eating crispy cardboard rather than a pizza. At this point, the price is no longer justified. Very disappointed.

14/08/2026: The setting is very pretty, but the food is a complete letdown. Aside from the magnificent view and the lovely floral displays on the terrace, the rest of the experience is best avoided. The food was a total disappointment: tasteless and clearly defrosted pizza, a completely frozen, mass-produced buffet, and an excessively salty garbure (a traditional Pyrenean soup). To top it all off, the financier had an unpleasant taste reminiscent of the dining room's odor... To the owners: instead of responding by lashing out at disappointed customers, take the time to reflect on your approach and at least have the decency to make eye contact when the bill arrives.

14/08/2026: The buffet is bad (everything is processed). The pizzas are frozen. It's too expensive. Avoid it. If I could, I'd give it zero stars.

03/08/2026: I visited this place recently and had a horrible experience. First the waiters are friendly and helpful and this issue is not regarding them but the Food standards. I found a dead fly attached to my fries. I showed the waiter he was very apologetic towards me and wanted to get a fresh plate for me but i decided that i was going to leave and pay for my drink instead. i spoke to the manager and she said that the fly did not come from the kitchen and that it came from outside. However the fly was quite literally fried and attached to a single fry. This shows complete lack of hygiene and food safety from the kitchen and she decided to throw that responsibility on to me. It is not possible for a dead fly to suddenly drop on my plate and become attached/glued on to a single fry. after a lot of back and forth she decided to allow me to leave with just paying for my drink. the waiters were helpful and unfortunately due to the language barrier they did try to explain to the lady that i was in fact right and that he did witness what was on my plate. The waiters are not to blame they were very apologetic and helpful. Unfortunately due to poor management and standards from the kitchen these waiters have to deal with it. This is not the first time this is happened i checked the reviews this has happened in the past so if your in the lourdes area i personally would avoid this place because if i didn't notice the dead fly in my food it could have led me to being ill which is not something anyone would like.

24/07/2026: The waitstaff was haughty and lacked any human touch. A shame in a place like Lourdes... I won't be returning anytime soon with sick people who just want to enjoy a friendly and fun time.

23/07/2026: We ate without waiting too long for a table to become available. It's a good restaurant for a quick and cheap meal, nothing fancy. The side dishes are generous with frozen fries, but for less than €15 you can get a full meal right in the center of Lourdes. The waiter who served us seemed rather unpleasant and unfriendly.

21/04/2026: Without a doubt the worst pizzeria you could ever find, frozen pizzas, no effort at presentation, posted hours not respected, in short, avoid it!

19/02/2026: Excellent burger and delicious pizza, perfect for a light meal. Pizza vending machine available 24/7.

01/07/2026: A really great nightclub I used to go to often when I was younger. I have some great memories there. The crowd has changed a bit over time, but the atmosphere is still great. For me, it's still the best nightclub in the area for people who live nearby. I highly recommend it! 🤙✨🥰

29/10/2025: Clearly, the waiter or owner should find another line of work! Retail or the restaurant industry are definitely not for him. He's incredibly unpleasant; it's like he's going to jump out at you the moment you say hello! Dirty coffee, rude waiter: run away!

13/12/2025: How dare this place still call itself a “restaurant”??? We had reserved a table for 15 people around 8 pm. Some arrived at 8:35 pm, others were still stuck on the road because of the farmers. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was icy: we immediately felt like we were intruding. The waitress curtly announced: “It’ll be a straight course.” That’s professionalism for you. As a restaurant owner myself, this kind of attitude is simply unacceptable and I would never tolerate it in my establishment.

21/07/2026: I do not share the experience of some reviewers about rude waiters. Its a big place, sometimes it might take a while. This is no reason to get emotional. I had coffee here at noon, and when I walked by 8 hours later, the waiter instantly recognized me and hurried to get something from inside that I had forgotten. It was a small thing, but it is very dear to me. This is not the behaviour of a careless waiter, rather the opposite. I haven't experienced the food, but the portions looked great.

16/07/2026: It just goes to show you shouldn't always trust reviews. I had a very good meal and the waitress was efficient and pleasant. I recommend it.
