07/10/2026: Excellent restaurant. Really very good. I had the daily special: the chicken was tender, it was exceptional! The only slight drawback for me, as I'm not used to this kind of food, is that I found the dish quite salty. Apart from that, everything was perfect and it's not particularly expensive considering the quality of the food! I sincerely recommend it.

01/08/2026: Very large terrace, attentive staff, the pizzas, ravioli, salads, and ice cream were very appetizing. Large pizza (30cm), small pizza (25cm). Good value for money. The little complimentary touch at the end of the meal was a nice touch. Convenient parking. It was busy, but conversation wasn't difficult thanks to the ample space around the tables.

11/10/2026: First of all, the entire course was incredibly well-balanced and delicious. The fish dish looked particularly appetizing, so I added it as an à la carte item, and it was the best meal of my life. I went with a young child, and they were considerate enough to seat us at a spacious table, which allowed us to enjoy our meal comfortably.

08/10/2026: Arrived right at the 12:00 opening and took a seat along the front window banquette facing the room. It is an intimate 13-table dining room tucked in the 8th arrondissement with banquette seating along the walls and individual chairs opposite, plus two separate tables tucked back right near the open kitchen pass. Rock music was playing over the sound system at first, but once the dining room filled up, the room noise completely absorbed it. I went with the Instant Business lunch tasting menu (€89 for four courses) and stuck with tap water. The meal opened with a sharp, well-calibrated amuse-bouche that effectively woke up the palate. Next came a goat cheese raviolo—an ingredient I usually avoid—paired with fennel, which balanced the richness surprisingly well. The beetroot starter followed, cooked in its own juices and plated with a sake beurre blanc, an iced beetroot salad, and a clean, aerated foam that brought the whole dish together. The main course was the only real letdown of the afternoon. The beef fillet with girolle mushrooms, watercress, and meat jus had an entirely flat flavor profile, and the butcher work was rough. It was easily among the tougher cuts of beef I’ve encountered across Michelin-starred restaurants globally, requiring me to physically cut off small pieces of hard, rubbery fat and gristle. Fortunately, the kitchen rebounded on pastry with the chocolate, miso, and buckwheat dessert—a textbook finish built on crisp praline, rich ice cream, and a crumble that delivered on both texture and temperature. Front-of-house execution was seamless from start to finish. The staff was friendly, pacing moved without any awkward lag between courses, tap water was topped off before the glass ever went empty, and every single dish was clearly introduced upon delivery. A reliable value for a contemporary Parisian lunch menu, provided the savory kitchen sharpens its butcher work on the meat course.

25/05/2026: Wonderful memories of our week-long stay at La Buffe during the February school holidays. The hotel is very well located, close to the village center, cross-country ski trails, the shuttle to the downhill ski slopes, and hiking trails (for the summer). Breakfast and dinner (half-board) are very good, quite generous, and with a real effort to use local products (including a wine list featuring some delightful surprises from the Isère region). Finally, the service is always efficient and friendly. In short, a very good stay in Autrans!

17/08/2026: The terrace was unfortunately closed due to the heat and mosquitoes. We were seated inside, and the noise level was a bit high because there were nine of us. But hey, if you don't want any noise, you can always eat at home with your mom! The service was excellent, attentive, and friendly. They had a good knowledge of the wine list. The meal was superb from start to finish, with sophisticated and original dishes bursting with flavor. The bill was a little high, but no regrets, because good things and good times come at a price.

07/10/2026: Simple, good food. Pleasant and efficient service. Atmosphere: a traditional, warm restaurant. A permanent exhibition on stone roofing is displayed in one room. Very good value for money.

27/09/2026: After a lovely stroll around the Larina archaeological site, we enjoyed a magnificent Portuguese meal prepared by the chef. A superb discovery of these specialties. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was perfect. The service and welcome were impeccable. A delightful time shared with our friends. I highly recommend it.

26/10/2026: We celebrated a birthday with 25 guests. Étienne and Matthieu managed to create a menu that suited everyone, and from appetizers to dessert, everything was perfect and delicious! Not to mention their warm and discreet welcome. 👍 Thank you, we all had a wonderful evening! It was fantastic!

11/10/2026: The setting will make you return, but the service will make you regret it. The observation is always the same: disorganized service and an unfriendly manager. After a 30-minute wait, customers who raise their hands to be served are simply ignored.

It's a place that truly invites you to take a break, slow down, and enjoy the moment, far from our often hectic lives. A real little haven of peace, where you feel good and wish you could stay a little longer. ❤️

23/08/2026: Incredible refuge: everything is very comfortable, clean, and pleasant. Plenty of activities available and easy access. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the people who run the place contribute to that. The food is delicious too! A truly wonderful discovery.

14/10/2026: The only downside: A Chablis Bourgogne Blanc from La Chablisienne was served at a lukewarm temperature… ** lukewarm!! … A shame to start the aperitif… It took a good 15 minutes… for the temperature to be lowered (with the help of ice cubes)! This type of wine should be served from the wine cooler at 10-12 degrees Celsius… and then chilled with ice if necessary. Our next table had a customer smoking cigarettes… Smoke drifted towards us from time to time… despite their table being on the edge of the terrace… As non-smokers, it wasn't very pleasant!
