02/07/2026: We've been going there regularly for at least 10 years; the service, food, and owner are all top-notch! Tonight we treated ourselves (Spritz, oysters, generous main courses, St. Veran wine, and dessert). Don't hesitate, they often have live music on Friday nights!

12/06/2026: It's still quite expensive for what it is (quantity/quality). The desserts, in particular, are especially pricey considering they seem to be mass-produced... But that evening there was a live band playing: that was a plus for the atmosphere.

02/06/2026: Another great hotel visited on a motorbike holiday. Rooms clean and tidy and the food was excellent. Bar staff spoke fluent English. The Air Conditioning was excellent too

31/05/2026: The hotel is very good, especially considering we're in a very small town. The water museum is a bonus. The restaurant has a limited menu, but the food is delicious. The service is exceptional. I'm grateful to the two young women who made an effort to speak Spanish and made our dinner very enjoyable. They alone deserve the highest rating.

24/05/2026: I ordered two pizzas, one oriental and one supposedly goat cheese and honey, but it wasn't at all what I ordered. Plus, I found the pizzas empty and dry. I've tried them several times since the new owners took over, but I think I'll stop there, especially since I didn't get the right one. I wanted to share photos as proof, but apparently you can't post with a photo. Sorry.

04/07/2026: Very pleasant atmosphere, lovely terrace, very warm welcome although the service was a little slow, nice food. The regular live music definitely makes it a place to remember!

24/05/2026: A fantastic place! The welcome is warm and the menu is perfect! There isn't a huge selection, which I love because it guarantees fresh ingredients. The dishes are original, delicious, and homemade by chefs who are passionate about delighting you. We shared eight appetizers between three friends, and our taste buds loved it! All accompanied by a good wine, chosen from a well-curated wine list and with excellent recommendations from the lovely waitress! Long live the little bastards! 😋😁

07/06/2026: We were walking down from Lake Monteynard after a stroll on the footbridges, right next to the La Mure little train station. As a family of two adults and three children, we enjoyed a delicious meal. The quality was excellent, the menu simple, and the price reasonable. For 30 euros, we had a starter, main course, and dessert: scallops or foie gras, sea bass or sirloin steak, and more. Everything you could want for a family or couple's meal out.

18/06/2026: I recently went to a Michelin-starred restaurant in Grenoble (there's only one), and was disappointed by the ambiance and the food. Last week, I went to an annex of a renowned Bresson restaurant in Voiron; the setting was lovely, but the food was uninspired. For the third time in a short period, we went to La Girolle, and once again, we were very satisfied. A very good meal, beautifully presented tableware, the service was better than in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and all for a lower price. It's no wonder this restaurant has been around for so long, while others close when there's quality; it can only succeed.

08/06/2026: We went to eat and listen to a concert. The welcome was very good. The meal was fine. One waitress (tall) was not at all polite or helpful. I asked her what a pinsa was, and I had to repeat it four times. Later, she came up behind me to take my platter, which I had barely finished eating, without asking, of course, bumping into me and knocking over a glass. My friend had shards of glass under his feet. She went to get a broom, and without asking us to get up or anything, she started sweeping. We got up, and she barely even said sorry or thank you; we were in her way. Later, some people sat down at the next table. And she started again, bumping into me, and when she took our order, I got a smack on her backside. But she didn't seem to mind and did it again while serving them. So perhaps she needs to learn some manners and politeness.

07/07/2026: I wanted to give a 5-star rating to warmly congratulate the entire team at Le Coin du Bœuf. The service, both inside and on the terrace, was impeccable and extremely friendly, which is remarkable considering the large crowds due to the Jazz Festival and the current heatwave. A big thank you for your professionalism and hospitality. However, I would like to offer a constructive suggestion regarding the Lyonnaise salad. While the quality was there, in my opinion, there were far too many croutons. It's a shame, because it feels more like you're paying for a lot of bread than for the salad ingredients. Apart from that, it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you again for your hospitality!

05/06/2026: Very beautiful and cozy hotel; the owner really makes sure you feel right at home. A beautiful view, very good breakfast and dinner. The hotel room was immaculately prepared and tastefully decorated. Definitely recommended!
