28/09/2024: I agree with the other comments, very long service 2 hours for starter, main course and dessert.
On the other hand, it was delicious, we enjoyed ourselves and the waitress was very smiling and attentive.
As a starter, perfect egg and Savoyard salad. As a main dish, ravioli and cream with parmesan and as a dessert, floating island and chocolate mousse.

08/09/2024: After a hike, the entire Gai Soleil team made us very welcome and helped us settle into our room. A place where you can recharge your batteries in peace, a good atmosphere and lots of humor. The dishes prepared with local products by the cook are a real treat and very generous.
The icing on the cake: a beauty salon with a spa to relax in, a very welcoming and clean space.
Honestly, we had a great time and are ready to go back on our next hike in the area, which is magnificent.
It’s worth the detour and we recommend it.

12/01/2025: We visited this restaurant on January 11, 2025 (a Saturday evening) without a reservation. We were extremely well received, accompanied by our dog. The menu offered is rich and diverse. The dishes are very well presented. The cod fillet and duck fillet that we ordered were very well prepared and we enjoyed it. The desserts (soft pistachio cake and blueberry tartlet) were also delicious. The staff is very efficient and caring. We didn't have to wait between courses. We highly recommend this restaurant. It was a great discovery and we will come back with great pleasure.

07/06/2025: The waiters were unwelcoming; we felt like we were annoying them every time we asked for another round of frog legs. Plus, they serve small quantities, and it's not all-you-can-eat because between the wait and the kitchen shutting down at 10 p.m., if you manage to get three rounds, it's great. We left there, almost going to have a prime rib to fill up.
In short, a very unhealthy atmosphere in the end. They take payment without caring about customer satisfaction.

06/06/2025: We stopped for a drink. The place is well located, however during rush hour the traffic can be unbearable. The prices are a bit high, for the environment: messy walls, retro furniture not particularly well-kept... however there is a nice atmosphere, you can see that the owners are well-liked. However I don't know, I don't think it is 5 stars.

30/11/2024: Very good, fresh, prepared before our eyes and with care, in compliance with hygiene rules. The atmosphere is soft and calm. We can talk to each other without needing to raise our voices and listen. A welcoming and smiling team. We enjoyed ourselves and had a very good evening. Thanks to the team!

While the food was lovely, it could have done with slightly bigger portions.
Also, while accommodated for, food intolerances severely restrict what one can have.
None the less, I would come back.
24/09/2024: I have had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant on several occasions.
No false notes noted for my greatest pleasure.
The service as well as the cuisine is perfect. A cuisine with fresh products and a clever mix of tastes.
I wish the best for this establishment.

27/09/2024: Nice discovery of this pizzeria restaurant, we were welcomed very warmly by Lucas and Lili who gave us very good advice on the different dishes to choose. Dynamic staff who listen to their customers.
At the start of the meal, we ordered a small charcuterie board but this was very generous for 2 people but then very good pizza and lasagna and for dessert a fresh fruit crumble with a scoop of ice cream was a treat!
We will come back to see you as soon as we can!

Too bad we find ourselves in the middle of the room on a table of two and thus absorb all the noise and hubbub of the guests around us.

10/12/2024: An interesting taste experience. The mixture of flavors is omnipresent but not excessive, always with a background of traditional cuisine, unlike certain other starred chefs who only seek novelty while forgetting their basics. On the other hand, I would have appreciated a slightly lighter, more airy dessert to wash it all down... Of course the bill is gastronomic, but is acceptable given the quality of the meal served. Note that at Fantin Latour the whole table does not have to eat the same menu, which is nice.
