15/07/2025: Avoid it, halfway through the starter they're already serving you the main course. The noodles are okay, but there are four small pieces of beef, served with lots of bell peppers. It makes up for it. Second attempt for me, not to be repeated.

29/12/2025: I'm giving it 4 stars because the lady is very nice, however, she should have someone with her in the dining room. The old man doesn't do anything, and okay, it's homemade, so it's still decent. Looking at the prices on the chalkboard outside, we paid too much: 2 salads from the main room (€15 each), 2 gardianne (a beef stew) (€13 each), and 3 chocolate mousses (by the way, without the coulis, it would be better and quicker to make for you) (€5 each). That makes (€30 + €26 + €15) €71, and a Leffe beer that she didn't know the price of, we paid €85. Good for her, but too bad for us. Having come to Monestier several times, it's a shame we won't be going back. There should be a chalkboard menu in the dining room and a drinks menu with prices... I'm replying to the owner's response. At no point did I say it was expensive; I simply pointed out that the total of our bill didn't match the amount paid by card. I paid €85, while the total came to €71 for the food and a Leffe beer (the price of which was ignored). €14 is an expensive beer... The menu was never displayed in the dining room; it was only shown on the terrace. The prices were correct, as was the drinks menu and price list—in any case, we didn't get it!

24/12/2025: The food is as friendly and welcoming as the owner and the decor. Now all that remains is to discover the secret of that excellent homemade vinaigrette... the competition is on!

26/08/2025: "Traditional cuisine," indeed, given the owner's attitude. A minor misunderstanding between a friend (who, incidentally, apologized profusely right away and without any ill intent) turned into a ridiculous conflict. Condescending remarks ("I'll teach you about life") followed by extremely unpleasant responses to polite questions during payment. The owner brought up the incident again with the same condescension and aggression even though we tried to calmly explain the situation. The tone escalated further, and threats were profuse (including physical threats, with an employee hiding an ashtray behind his back with the intention of hitting one of my friends), and then the owner became increasingly aggressive. A pointless argument worthy of the best reality TV shows over nothing much. This "good" man is absolutely not recommended, and this restaurant (sorry to the other employees who have nothing to do with it) is to be avoided at all costs. Deplorable. Simply deplorable.

The cuisine really delighted us, very generous, refined dishes with great taste. 06/08/2025: Very disappointed with this first experience. The pizza was prepared when we were supposed to pick it up. Overcooked and had a bitter aftertaste. I don't know what happened, but there must have been a mistake. The prices on the website were €11.50 and €11 for a Capra and a Forestière, but my son had to pay €23.50. Unable to respond to Turbo Delice's comment: you should review your communication with customers; your language is not appropriate for a retailer.

25/01/2026: I ordered delivery and ate in. I received excellent service from a pleasant, smiling, and attentive waitress. P.S.: I highly recommend the gratinéed ravioli!

04/06/2025: It is a typical French bistro in the Eybens area. The truth is that it is lucky to have a restaurant with this quality in the neighborhood!!! Everything very homemade and very delicious. They are very close and very nice people! 100% recommended.

21/05/2025: A restaurant we found by chance and which has become our go-to place for years with a friend. The dishes are all homemade. The cuisine is high-quality. I found myself eating things I didn't necessarily like, as they were so well prepared. The menu speaks for itself: three hot dishes, three desserts. Quality in all simplicity, that's so rare these days.
