11/09/2024: A reference if there is one, the Paul establishment located in the heart of the center of the Bonne barracks commercial area in Grenoble, is faithful to the level of quality of its numerous references of pastries, breads, sandwiches and drinks. I recommend one of their best pastries of your choice, topped off with a homemade hot chocolate, the ultimate in the matter. With an incomparable creaminess that will make connoisseurs and the most gourmets of this nectar of the gods pale.... And how can we not mention the most pleasant room with chairs or armchairs around round tables which perfectly complete this relaxing place. On the other hand, if you are lucky enough to have the sun that day, don't hesitate to enjoy the terrace with arbor alongside your friends. The chain of Paul stores, the first of which was created at the end of the 19th century (1887), an establishment which has numerous branches. It goes without saying that we recommend this very welcoming business.

01/10/2024: Tried the ravioles and poulet dishes. Good atmosphere and nice food.

22/09/2024: Café waiter is extremely rude and unpleasant (old guy with short curly hair), refused when I asked for a glass of whatever "because I won't make any money off it". I was seated with several other people all ordering coffee, so I don't see the issue (nevermind the fact it is illegal to refuse to give someone water). Gave in and ordered an orange juice, it ended up costing 3.80€ for a tiny little 20cl bottle. Absolute piss-take if you ask me.

14/09/2024: This restaurant was well rated in many guides 5 years ago and I ate really well there. All this is just memories! Risotto served cold and overcooked, scallops thawed and overcooked, inedible. When the owner asks us if everything is okay and I answer that the scallops are way overcooked, she gets angry and shouts that the cooking is done to please as many people as possible! She blows as soon as she goes behind my back and no longer speaks to us. The guides were not mistaken since this Beaver is no longer greedy at all!! Go your way.

03/09/2024: Generally good dishes, lots of choice. On the other hand, hot and turned red wine. Replaced on request with 1 glass of fresh white wine. Small downside is the noise because it is very large and the service is a little tight at the professional level. A little smile at the checkout would be nice.

24/08/2024: Very average pizzas with little garnish. A lot of extra that there shouldn't be when ordering a pizza. Too expensive for what we are offered . Charming waiters. It catches up a little.

22/08/2024: Last night, we ordered a pizza by phone with a friend at around 10 p.m. on 08/23. I asked them for a Savoyard pizza; the woman I spoke to on the phone asked her colleagues what a Savoyard pizza was! Result: we paid €16.90 for a Neapolitan pizza and not a Savoyard one! I, who am from Savoy, am going to teach them what it is. Despite an incorrect order, the pizza we got was super good, very generous portion but just the regret that he doesn't know Savoyard pizza!!!

18/08/2024: The pizzas were really very good, real thin pasta as it should be. The service was perfect despite a full room and impressive take-out orders... THANK YOU !

22/09/2024: Very small place, run by very kind guys. The dishes are very good with low prices. Nice to eat in the little square outside under the trees

08/09/2024: Already, we can't sit where we want, incredible, meat for 28€ with lots of fat, and for the price, not even home fries. In addition, these are very salty. An extremely expensive dessert, and to finish, you eat quietly, the employees remove the table trays around you...a really "salty" addition for what you ate. We will not go back

05/09/2024: Just stopped for a quick lunch. The setting is rather nice in a classic brasserie style. Our special was also good (even if (excellent) ravioles as a side dish of a fish was somewhat surprising) and the price was correct. Service is smiling however a bit hectic and inefficient.

15/09/2024: Very good pizzas with thin dough and cooking over a wood fire. The value for money is very good, all pizzas are 10 euros. A preference for salmon pizza.

21/08/2024: We didn't even have time to judge the cuisine. Arriving at 12:00 p.m. we were thrown out with a very questionable way of doing things. A restaurant that is 3/4 empty and no way to have lunch for 2. When you don't want to work and when you're in a bad mood, you change jobs.

16/08/2024: We arrived at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. we still don't have entry, it's shameful that it takes so long, there are only 1 or 2 servers max who take their time, the people arrive after us, they are served before us who wait 4 hours to get entry I won't come back here anymore it's the worst 👍
