02/01/2025: Very good table. Good service. Very good dishes. Salmon and shrimp mousse starter. Succulent dish with venison steak. Original tropezienne bun roll dessert. The only downside is the cleanliness of the toilets at the start of service. Fair prices. Nice decor.

09/07/2025: Extremely disappointed with the handling of our complaint by the teams at the Les Pagodes De Beauval hotel. After booking our stay at the Les Pagodes De Beauval hotel a year in advance, we were evicted less than three weeks before our arrival due to a seminar. The service provided by Les Jardins De Beauval is not at all equivalent to that of the Pagodes De Beauval. This is an outright lie. We were offered "compensation" in the form of an E-wallet to compensate for the inconvenience of having to move mid-stay to another hotel in the destination. The hostess on the phone assured us that we could use this E-wallet to pay for the restaurant we had booked at the hotel. On the day of our stay, when we arrived at the counter of Le Sichuan restaurant, the employee present explained to us that this service doesn't work at hotel restaurants and that we would have to pay the bill. The front office manager explained to us the next morning that she couldn't do anything and spoke of the famous E-wallet as a goodwill gesture already granted. I then explained to her that the accommodation service they considered equivalent at the two hotels in question, including an "upgrade" at the second hotel, remained to be verified, and that in any case, this service was and remains different from the one I originally booked. The E-wallet only regularized the difference in rates over the one-year period, but it was in no way a gift, as she implied with a hint of sarcasm. Since hotel reservation rates fluctuate depending on the reservation date, this gesture only regularized an accounting situation and was a definite inconvenience. I simply note that the hotel management didn't deem it necessary to honor what we had been promised by the hostess who made the reservation changes following this eviction. "It's in the general terms and conditions," basically, they couldn't care less about you since a busload of tourists arrives right behind you. This is unacceptable and intolerable for a hotel of this size, the Beauval Zoo Park, a family destination. They don't give you a refund and they ask you to say THANK YOU for an upgrade that was imposed on you and which cost them absolutely nothing.... Total indifference!!!

08/07/2025: Very nice place. The rooms are comfortable, but a small fridge would be nice! The staff is friendly. The only negative point: the wait to access the breakfast room is too long!!!

11/08/2025: A warm and friendly place! The welcome is always smiling and friendly, whether you're having a coffee at the counter or buying a few items at the tobacconist's. The service is fast, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant. You feel right at home, with a regular and friendly clientele. A real pleasure to spend time there.

19/12/2024: This was our perfect stopover. Very good food and incredible value for money. Very nice, personal service. Rarely have I slept so well in a hotel.

08/12/2024: I went to the 3 mallets farm with my family to celebrate my great uncle's birthday and have a good meal. I highly recommend this establishment because the servers are very helpful, the food is very good with a price that fully justifies the quality on our plate. I thank the staff for offering me a beer glass because I am a big fan.

13/12/2024: The location at the gates of Chambord Castle, the most beautiful in the Loire, is definitely worth it. The hotel does not deserve the SLH category due to the lack of management and maintenance, both in rooms and common areas. The service seems very novice and presumptuous. Of course you need to pay a good manager to look at the maintenance details. The restaurant and food service, although it claims to be good, almost always loses in the details of food temperature or point. Classic cocktails and very good local wines. A location pays to visit the main wonders of the eastern Loire area.

21/09/2024: A little hard to find when relying on a car--Google Maps didn't understand that it was on a different level in the city. We ended up figuring it out by parking down in the square below and walking up the stairs. The stairs are plentiful and steep but there's a railing and a bench halfway up. (Our parents needed this help.) But then we got to this charming little restaurant and got to sit on their beautiful terrace that overlooked the city and river below. The food was worth the treasure hunt! Although we've been loving the French fare, we were ready for a little something different and this delectable Italian cuisine fit the bill.

21/05/2025: Incredible!!! It's warm, it's delicious, it's generous, and it's good value for money. The welcome is as incredible as the roasted Camembert. I highly recommend this place.

On the other hand, if you want to grab a sandwich for your lunch in the morning when you leave for work, arrive before 7:15 a.m. At the time of hiring there is only one person to serve. Of course she does what she can and with a smile but when you have 3 or 4 people ordering breakfasts and who sometimes only express themselves in broken French + the retirees who are sick if they don't have their baguette 7:20 a.m., you are not ready to be served...
