This is a Japanese side dish restaurant.
It was really delicious.
About 20 minutes by car from Blois.
Close to Chambourne Castle.
This is a side dish restaurant recommended even by Japanese people.

There was no spot so they made an effort to setup a table for us, that was really caring 🙏
Service was exactly what you expect from Japanese, always made time for everyone and highly efficient, just 2 people taking care of the whole restaurant including take away, Sugoi! 🚀
I also got a crush on the waiter 🫢

17/12/2024: Very good experience at LA TAVERNE restaurant. Came as a couple on a Saturday evening, the service was fast. Our attentive and responsive waitress. All of our dishes were flawless from starter to dessert. We will come back.
15/12/2024: Reasonable prices for foie gras, generous in quantity (2 nice slices) on the other hand, the brioche toasts are extra, this is the first time I've seen that?? Does it cost that much? Let's move on, the foie gras was very good
Mussels marinières... with thyme and bay leaf, first time I've seen that too, it's too much in terms of flavor, we only smell that and it's not part of the original marinières recipe...
Very good and delicious floating island, the other desserts also look very good

30/10/2024: Random stop on our way back from vacation at almost 2 p.m., we were very well received, menu at 16€50 very decent with free coffee and starter buffet
The only (small) downside is that the main dish garnish is a bit tight and the bread is not great.
But for the price we ate very well, and I like the atmosphere of these little old-fashioned "road" type restaurants.

On the other hand, we who were happy to eat poutine were quickly left cold. I arrived to collect my order and found a woman with a cold welcome, prompt payment and a goodbye without a glance. I felt like a nuisance, we won't go back

11/09/2024: What a shame that we didn't have such a pleasant experience. We came there for lunch, lots of workmen, nothing wrong with that. Lady in charge had everything under control, it was very busy. As a result, there was almost no choice from the 2 menus that were offered. (this can happen) unfortunately we received half of the meat we ordered without mentioning this. We could see this with the other guests. Sharing is no problem, but please report this.
