19/09/2026: We had the opportunity to dine there as a group of nine. The view was lovely, and the service at the front of house was excellent. However, there was a major problem with the service. The person who served us that evening seemed to have a slight issue (forgetting dishes, not removing aperitif glasses during the meal, not refilling the water carafe during the meal, and other issues). In short, I'm sorry, but I won't be returning to this restaurant. On the other hand, the food was excellent; the plates were generous and very clean. So, when you're paying €40 per person, the service should be attentive and not neglected. I'm sorry, but you're denigrating a very rewarding profession that I work in every day.

03/10/2026: I don't usually leave reviews. We came to the crêperie Du Moulin du Diable five years ago. We returned, and I was really disappointed with the galette; it wasn't cooked properly. We didn't have dessert. Perhaps we just had bad luck?

20/09/2026: Saturday evening. Superb atmosphere, vintage style, friendly and energetic servers. A very generous appetizer platter for 5 people. Personally, I had a Caesar salad just the way we like it. This restaurant is worth the trip.

26/09/2026: The waitress was welcoming, the setting was lovely, and the seafood was excellent. We could have had a pleasant time if the terrace hadn't been the scene of frankly shocking remarks made by a group of young men who were clearly regulars. A real boys' club. Beyond the noise level, which was frankly disturbing, regardless of what was being said, we spent a good part of the meal involuntarily witnessing particularly degrading conversations about women. Between videos of their nights out playing at full volume (including videos of their vomit, just to complete the gastronomic experience), one man boasted about the woman he had "fucked" the night before, another offered to show his friends nude photos, and a third commented on a video of a young woman, calling her a "nice ribeye steak." Remarks were also made about the female customers' appearance. And since the awkwardness was clearly about to escalate, the shrimp served at the table were passed around to compare them to the smell of his "pussy." And that's just the beginning. I probably wouldn't have bothered leaving a review for this reason alone (after all, a restaurant can't control every customer's conversations) if the waiter hadn't eventually sat down at the table of these young men, clearly his friends, to join in their boisterous laughter and participate in these openly misogynistic exchanges himself. A very real consequence for us: the waiter was no longer available when we needed him. This is particularly unfortunate, because the welcome, the ambiance, and the seafood were all excellent. But spending our meal listening to this kind of talk, and then seeing the waiter himself participating in the scene instead of attending to the dining room, seriously ruined the experience. Personally, I won't be going back.

25/09/2026: If I’d live around here, I would sit here every day. Excellent oysters and crevettes, pleasant seating just a stone’s throw from the market, and an absolutely amazing price-quality ratio. A place you can easily come back to every day.

03/10/2026: This is one of the few restaurants in Nantes that caters to both children and parents. We've never been disappointed; the menus are excellent and the service is quick. It's best to book ahead, as this restaurant is very popular with parents of young children!

11/09/2026: We came here with our 16-month-old son and were able to enjoy a lovely meal with the whole family. The friendly atmosphere and fun play corners ensure that a visit to this restaurant is a pleasant and relaxing experience for everyone. The owner is very friendly and really makes you feel welcome here, both you and your child.

28/08/2026: Hello. I bought two croissants and was completely disappointed. They had an aftertaste of cleaning product that stung my tongue, and a faint lemon scent. I don't think that's normal. In the end, they went straight in the bin. When they say they're small this morning, yes, they were indeed small, but honestly, the strong chemical taste isn't my cup of tea. It's not the first time I've been disappointed, especially with sandwiches where the quality isn't there, but this is ridiculous! What a shame.

05/10/2026: I really enjoy eating at Villa d'Or. The service is impeccable, and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. A more friendly approach from the restaurant manager and improved service at the grill would be a plus.

17/09/2026: A real hidden gem! Delicious crêpes (sweet ones only at coffee time), coffee, and other drinks in a beautiful setting. The rustic cottage is cozy with bookshelves lining the walls, filled with old books. Vintage newspaper clippings and photos complete the picture. The owner is very friendly and speaks excellent English. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!
