09/06/2026: We got married at Domaine de La Ferrière on June 6, 2026, and honestly, we couldn't have dreamed of a better place to celebrate our wedding. From our first visit until the day after the wedding, we felt supported, listened to, and cared for. A huge thank you to Angélique, the event manager, who was absolutely exceptional. Her follow-up was impeccable from beginning to end. For every question, every doubt, or every request, a simple text message was all it took to get a quick and precise answer. She managed our schedule with incredible professionalism and always looked for solutions to meet our needs. Without her, our wedding simply wouldn't have been the same. The day before the wedding, we discovered a room already prepared according to all the instructions we had provided beforehand: table layout, number of people per table, chairs, overall organization… Everything was already set up. We arrived with our decorations at 9:30 a.m., and by 2:00 p.m., everything was finished. This help took an enormous mental load off our shoulders at a time when every minute counted. The fact that the Domaine also provided catering was a huge advantage. It eliminated the need to coordinate multiple vendors and greatly simplified the organization. And above all… what a meal! We received an impressive number of compliments from our guests. Several people told us they had never eaten such delicious meat. Others confided that it was the first time they had ever eaten so well at a wedding. When nearly a hundred guests spontaneously comment on the quality of a meal, it truly is exceptional. The quality of the catering clearly contributed to the success of our wedding. The service was seamless, the courses flowed perfectly, without excessive waiting. Even our DJ told us that the quality of the audiovisual and sound equipment was among the best he had ever encountered at a reception venue. The Domaine is magnificent. And honestly, the photos available online don't do it justice. The grounds, the greenery, the outdoor spaces, and the overall atmosphere are even more beautiful in person. The 28 rooms are a real asset for guests traveling from afar. All our rooms were booked, and those lucky enough to stay in the suites were absolutely delighted. It was even a very pleasant surprise for some of them. We also greatly appreciated the on-site babysitters, an extremely convenient service that allowed parents to fully enjoy the evening. Even when a guest felt unwell during the reception, the team reacted with remarkable calm and efficiency. They handled the situation discreetly, provided immediate assistance, and we didn't even have to worry about it. It's this kind of attention to detail that demonstrates the team's professionalism and experience. We received hundreds of compliments on our wedding, and many of them were thanks to Domaine de La Ferrière and its staff. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose the exact same place, without the slightest hesitation. 26/05/2026: Pololo was absolutely amazing, I just finished my kebab. I'm crying, I've never eaten a kebab so hot. I was burning myself, but I couldn't wait for it to cool down. The flavors were truly at their peak. I devoured it, it was incredible. The vegetables were present but not overpowering, the meat was grilled and served in a generous portion. The fries were perfectly salted so you don't overdo it. Anyway, I'll stop there, there's too much to say. Thank you Hassan for always serving us with one of the biggest smiles in Nantes and always with kebabs that no one can ignore after tasting their deliciousness. In short, the number one kebab in Nantes! 🥙🔥

14/07/2026: We received a superb welcome at Bénureau. The owner is friendly, professional, and very attentive. My ceviche was outstanding, as was the tournedos. The Sancerre white and then the Menetou red were thoroughly enjoyable! We'll definitely be back!

11/07/2026: A kebab shop in Nantes, nothing exceptional except that they cook the meat directly over a wood fire.

04/05/2026: Perhaps the opening hours should be updated. When you arrive from the train station, it's a 15-minute walk with luggage only to find it closed! Even the sign outside says "open"...

And on the big day, everything was absolutely perfect. The kitchen team delighted us. Everything, from the cocktail hour to the brunch the following day, was absolutely delicious. 13/07/2026: I ordered a McFlurry and was very surprised by the portion size, which was extremely small. I went back to the employee who had prepared it. She insisted it was the standard size, in a rather unpleasant manner. When I explained that McFlurries usually served were significantly larger, she stood by her statement. She then offered to call a manager. While going to get him, she said to a colleague in front of me, "I'm not going to change the rules for one customer." This was an inappropriate remark, especially since I was standing right next to him. The manager gave me several contradictory explanations: he first told me the portion size met the chain's guidelines, then offered to remake the McFlurry, performing the "three turns" required by McDonald's. He also explained that the dessert looked smaller because of the new, larger packaging and because the ice cream had been compressed. However, as I was leaving, I overheard him say to the employee, "You barely did three turns." So the problem wasn't just the quantity served, but also the employee's attitude and the lack of consistency in her explanations. A disappointing experience.

21/07/2026: We arrived after visiting an exhibition. We were looking forward to a good beer and a non-alcoholic cocktail with a view of the Loire River and the Ancenis Bridge. We opted for a mixed charcuterie and cheese board. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

20/07/2026: I ordered the 3-meat taco to go, and it was the same size as the 1-meat one. It's a real shame because otherwise it was good, and the fries looked like beautiful (homemade) fries in the photos, but in reality, they were very few and just soggy, industrially produced fries. Frankly, they weren't very good at all.
