06/09/2026: We came on Friday evening for the 20th anniversary and were expecting a fantastic atmosphere, given the hype on social media. We shared it with our community and our Facebook group, promising a great evening in Orléans, but frankly, we were very disappointed. We waited a very long time to be served, and the owner wasn't very friendly (as one would expect). There was no music and no atmosphere. We were really disappointed. They certainly shouldn't have announced they were coming in at 6 pm, knowing the atmosphere wouldn't start until midnight. We just ended up in a bar for a drink and finished the evening elsewhere. It's a real shame. Also, please check the seasoning on your raclette sandwiches; if you don't like pepper, you'll be in for a treat.

03/06/2026: A warm welcome from attentive and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Excellent value for money and a very well-located hotel. The shower was only superficially clean, but otherwise the bathroom served its purpose. We arrived during a heatwave, and the night was hot with a rather ineffective fan. Buffet breakfast.

01/05/2026: The staff were pleasant, and the room was clean, but there was a clear lack of maintenance (shower door, entrance door). As for the restaurant, despite an appealing menu, the quality of the food did not justify the price.

05/08/2026: The tacos are so good, loaded with sauce, the dining room is very clean, and so is the terrace!

23/05/2026: The service is always top-notch, the hygiene is impeccable, and the food is excellent. We come regularly because it's the only kebab shop we trust.

01/07/2026: A very rude and unpleasant woman at the reception desk refused to take the time to answer my questions over the phone regarding pre-rolled cigarettes. She became irritated from the start, before I even had a chance to explain my request, and then she hung up on me. When I called back, she told me, "This is a business, we don't have time, come in person." But of course, it was much more aggressive and showed a significant lack of respect and professionalism. It should even be illegal, I was so shocked by such an obnoxious person with such a ruthless and dangerous manner and extreme aggression. I remained respectful and expressed my shock, but this person showed no mercy in her words and actions. I absolutely do not recommend this tobacconist, which employs verbally abusive staff like this woman, who was probably stung by some nasty bug! P.S.: Honestly, if it had been someone else, they wouldn't have gotten away with it.

04/06/2026: A warm welcome and a smile from Aurélie, as always 👍🌹 A good selection of CBD products and a friendly atmosphere. Plus, there's parking in the courtyard. It's a shame you're closed on Saturdays since the other tobacconist in the center closed. Long live your business! 👌

20/06/2026: Honest food in the village of Château Renard. Friendly welcome. The restaurant has a slightly old-fashioned feel, which you have to appreciate.

23/07/2026: A first in Orléans!! Creponé, the legendary Sicilian lemon sorbet, and a discovery: a very sweet and creamy pomegranate. Truly worth trying.

08/07/2026: Excellent experience! The staff is very welcoming and friendly, the service is quick, and the food is delicious. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return. Thank you to the whole team!

26/07/2026: I'm really disappointed. It's an all-you-can-eat restaurant with a small buffet and a very limited selection. For starters, there was a shrimp and cabbage salad that was practically fighting over the shrimp, and only three measly sushi options made with sticky rice. The desserts were just as limited: oranges, lychees, ice cream, and a small coffee and chocolate éclair… lol. As for the main courses, there were no surprises, no unusual Chinese dishes. Overall, it lacked a bit of spice and flavor. This is the first time I've ever eaten so little in an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant.

15/07/2026: It was really bad; they took 10 minutes to serve the drinks, even though we were the first ones there. They were cold, and he told us to reheat them in the microwave. The prices are outrageous, and he acted surprised when we pointed out the problems. We ordered sake so we wouldn't get sick.

25/08/2026: Do we really have to be served by a Portuguese man with a thick accent who doesn't hesitate to fart while taking our order? Even if he's wearing a wig, he's still got some nerve… And to top it all off, the height of incompetence and bad taste: they charge you for individual portions of salted butter. The portions on the plates are way too small! This is a far cry from the institution once made famous by the Herta brothers!

21/08/2026: Restaurant very well located on Place du Martroi. It's a shame that for a platter there's too much salad to fill the portion and very little of the actual ingredients. But oh well, that must be a trick 😉. A big thumbs down for the bread people leave behind... No, they don't recycle it for others, they just throw it away. That's really unacceptable. Bring your own bread; it'll be cleaner. The service is very good. A little anecdote: a woman next to me asked if she could pay for her three coffees with holiday vouchers, and another woman nearby was talking on her phone—bad luck, it was on speakerphone.

06/09/2026: A lovely romantic interlude; the food is delicious and very generous. The owner and servers are very friendly and discreet.

05/09/2026: Excellent meal. Very refined cuisine. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We had a wonderful time.

04/07/2026: Absolutely must try this place if you want a shameful, catastrophic, and completely illegal experience!! Passing through for business, we couldn't get a receipt, well, actually, we did, look at the photos: No VAT, credit card refused, with the explanation that the cashier was right next door, no cash register!! The hygiene was appalling: the "desserts" were left out in the open, even though it was 30°C outside! The cook in jogging pants and a sports t-shirt is fine for a run, but not for working in a kitchen. They offered a set menu for our arrival for the "1st anniversary of the restaurant," which included a welcome cocktail. We're still waiting for it. This menu was couscous with a mechoui salad + dessert for €16. Okay, we weren't expecting a royal couscous for that price, but still, not this! A plate of semolina, two pieces of carrot, two pieces of zucchini, three meatballs about 2cm each (or one chicken thigh). Everything was overcooked and, consequently, incredibly dry, but surprisingly, completely cold... long live the microwave!! It's not like we didn't warn you... The mechoui salad was so spicy it was inedible, and it's not like we don't enjoy spicy food, but well, at the same time, since we never even saw the "homemade" harissa, we'll say that makes up for it! The broth we ordered as an extra to try and wash it all down was just slightly colored tomato water.... We asked for extra merguez sausage, but this is the only "oriental" restaurant in France that has neither beef, nor merguez, nor lamb.... Hence the tasteless broth, I suppose! And when we got to the till, because after the couscous (which we left at 80%) we wanted to stop spending, the woman wanted to charge us for three complete meals when we only had: 0 cocktails 1 salad 3 couscous dishes 0 desserts In short, I call them crooks. This place should be shut down!

12/06/2026: It's not the most obvious place when you arrive in the square, but it's a little gem. Warm welcome. No wait and a superb meal, well presented. You can really taste the homemade quality. Add to that a sublime dessert: strawberry meringue and hot chocolate. Pure bliss. I'll be back. N Guédra
