05/12/2024: Detailed review of the restaurant: a nuanced experience
Ah, this restaurant, an experience which, let’s say it, deserves to be dissected with care. As soon as I arrived, I let myself be carried away by an atmosphere oscillating between a warm "welcome" and a slight coldness, subtle but palpable, which I will detail later.
Let's start with the basics: the food. The chopped staek, at first glance, seemed promising – left a strange taste in my mouth, as if the effort was there but without the expected little extra soul. Certainly, the sauce, a culinary creation that I would describe as daring, came to play the heroine with surprising vivacity. She had that “je ne sais quoi” that warms the taste buds and saves the plate from a culinary disaster. A great feat of this sauce which “put a stop in the shoulder”, to use your words, and which, in itself, did the job.
However, all was not rosy. There was this indefinable “something was missing”. Perhaps a touch of spice, slightly more precise cooking, or simply that little grain of love that we expect in a dish worthy of the name. Do you see what I mean? A detail. But this detail was missing.
Let's talk about fries, these popular queens of plates. Potatoes, let's say it bluntly, they were indeed. And this is where the subtlety of this criticism lies: "potatoes" in the sense that they proudly carried their potato essence, but, alas, a little too much. Too soft, too simple, they seemed to have abandoned all hope of crispness. A real disappointment for me, a fan of fries that crunch to the bite.
As for the welcome… Ah, the welcome! A mixture, a patchwork of attitudes, where each waiter seemed to play his own role in a play of changing moods. Special mention to the bald gentleman, whose kindness seemed to have taken leave that day. There was an undeniable, almost contagious sourness in his eyes and in his gestures. However, it would be unfair to generalize. Not everyone was so... bitter, to use the right word. Some employees, although rare, showed sincere kindness, creating a strange duality in the general atmosphere.
In conclusion, this restaurant gave me a mixed experience to say the least. We cannot deny that the kitchen tries things, that efforts exist, but certain essential aspects lack finesse or consistency. And reception, that crucial first and last impression, would greatly need collective alignment. For this reason I can only give it three stars. A rating that reflects an experience that is neither disastrous nor memorable, but simply... correct.
16/11/2024: I'm surprised, even if it's not a fresh kebab, it's really good, even though there isn't much rawness it doesn't bother me, it's the same kebab that I ate when I I was younger, I enjoyed myself thank you

25/10/2024: We wanted to bring together around thirty people but didn't know how to proceed. We have pushed the right door: from explanations to implementation, no problem. The team (2 people in our case) is friendly and attentive. THANKS.

Nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant pour mon anniversaire et c’était un choix parfait. Je recommande ce restaurant sans hésitation.
20/08/2024: L’ultima cena di una bellissima vacanza in Franci che ci ha portato da Brouges alla Normandia, Bretagna e ora la regione della Loira. Una degna chiusura! Il ristorante è bello, arredato con gusto e ha come punto di forza l’offerta che varia giornalmente a seconda di quello che è disponibile sul mercato e quello che lo chef vuole preparare.
Io e la mia compagna abbiamo preso entrambi un tataki di tonno con guacamole, dove il tonno era davvero perfetto. Abbiamo poi proseguito con un eccellente San Pietro al curry e cocco con zucchine, melanzane e riso. Nulla da dire: nel complesso buon piatto, ma come spesso capita nella cucina francese, il protagonista, in questo caso il San Pietro, scompariva un po’ tra i sapori. Ci vorrebbe meno quando si è di fronte a una materia prima di ottimo livello che andrebbe solo esaltata bei suoi sapori.
A chiudere mi sono concesso un tris di formaggi composto da Comte, Chevre e Pont-L’Eveque. Buoni
Serata ben accompagnata da un Pouilly Fumè di BOUCHIE-CHATELLIER. Servizio rapido, anche se potrebbe fare qualche sforzo in più per parlare inglese.

11/08/2024: Très déçue par mes plats, seule la salade de bœuf thaï avait du goût…
Mon Bo bun au lait de coco était un bo bun traditionnel ( pas de coco )et mon poulet citronnelle n’avait aucun goût.
Poulet cuit vapeur donc fade accompagné d’une sauce insipide.
J’espère que ce n’était qu’un faux pas et que je retrouverais la qualité du Siams que j’ai connu.

La carte est variée, chacun trouvera le plat qui lui convient : vapeur, soupe, plat en sauce, ...

Arrivée 12h45 au détour d'une tournée dans un restaurant au tiers vide, on vous demande d'abord si vous êtes seul pour ensuite savoir si vous avez réservé et au final vous dire que ce n'est pas possible au prétexte d'être complet ... 30 places sont pourtant disponibles (dont une bonne dizaine même pas dressées) ... Aucune empathie de la part de la patronne à peine aimable.
J'avais déjà eu une première mauvaise expérience similaire avec ce restaurant dans l'année, j'ai voulu leur donner une seconde chance, c'était la dernière.
Chère Madame si débordée derrière votre comptoir que vous n'avez même pas la délicatesse d'accorder un sourire aux gens qui passent le seuil de votre porte, ayez à l'esprit en bonne commerçante que vous êtes les basiques : rien ne présage qu'un simple passant venant à l'improviste ne devienne pas un client régulier voire même un super prescripteur pour votre affaire.
