04/01/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is nestled in a beautiful setting near a pond. The food is truly excellent, with generous portions from appetizer to dessert. The service was impeccable. The dishes are tastefully composed, with a touch of gastronomy and flavor combinations that awaken the taste buds. The owner makes sure we're happy with our meal. For my appetizer, I had a shrimp and basil panna cotta. For my main course, I had pork shoulder with coconut and lemon sauce. We also enjoyed a cheese plate featuring local producers and gingerbread crème brûlée. I absolutely loved the pork shoulder 🥰. And everything else was delicious too 😁

14/10/2025: Honestly, it's a nice place. The welcome is excellent, the service is very good. As for the food, the dishes are generous and delicious. You might ask, "As for the price?" Well, think again, we ate very well, and the price is very reasonable. Frog's legs with parsley. Pike-perch fillet with beurre blanc. Irish profiteroles.

09/01/2026: We were just passing through, and despite not having a reservation for four on a Friday night, we were greeted with smiles and genuine pleasure. A family-run restaurant with delicious food, generous portions (even in the children's menu!), quick service, very reasonable prices, and truly warm and friendly staff! For families: Changing mats are available in the restrooms, and high chairs and booster seats are provided for toddlers.

02/02/2026: An excellent crêperie with generous galettes. The desserts are just as generous. Impeccable service from the owner, who is always smiling and welcoming. Her husband is in the kitchen; he's the one who delights our taste buds. It's definitely worth the trip.

12/01/2026: Overall, I recommend this restaurant in Saumur. It's a very nice restaurant with good value for money. However, quite a few dishes were unavailable on the menu, and this happened several times (we came twice in one month), and it was the same every time… The waiter wasn't understanding or polite to us. He lacked professionalism. A shame! Later, we had other waiters, and they were excellent. A great team.

04/08/2024: Based on the wonderful reviews of this restaurant, we booked for our wedding anniversary. We were sadly very disappointed by the food- although beautifully presented, both starter and mains were unseasoned and flavourless. My starter of a medley of tomatoes with scallop ceviche used unripe tomatoes with of couple of bland scallops sprinkled on. The vegetarian main was some sort of savoury aubergine muffin on a bed of finely sliced and raw courgette- non with any flavour. My husband had the cod- once again very bland and disappointing. There was no background music, service slow (we ended up pouring our own wine) and the view of the vineyards obscured by a fairly overgrown hedge and uncut lawn. Given the prices charged we expected more- this was like fine dining from 20 years ago.

03/01/2026: The manager was nice, but apart from that, the pizzas were cold, sparsely topped, and there were even pieces of plastic on the ham slices...

22/11/2025: I was very happy with the pizzas I ordered. The service was quick and the pizza maker was very friendly; the atmosphere was pleasant and family-oriented.

07/12/2025: I went to dinner with a friend. After reading some very negative reviews, I wanted to try it for myself. I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a delicious cream of mushroom soup followed by a flank steak with homemade fries. The meat was good quality and rare, just as I had requested. The homemade fries were very good. The portions were generous. So we didn't order dessert, even though it looked tempting (French toast or ice cream with Oreo pieces). I'll definitely be back to try the desserts.

20/11/2025: Barra Catering provided the service for our wedding cocktail hour and dinner, and everything went perfectly! All our guests, as well as my husband and I, were delighted with both the quality of the food and the service. The servers were extremely attentive at every moment, which made us feel truly well taken care of. We wholeheartedly recommend them!
