18/09/2026: THE BRASSERIE'S TUMMY Don't expect to find the brasserie of yesteryear. I'm reluctantly giving it one star. Zero would be generous: the place is dirty, dark, and unwelcoming. I ordered a steak with an egg on top. - Only the egg is homemade. - The fries are dry, the grated carrots straight from the bag. - The seasoning is awful. - The steak is fatty. In fact, halfway through the meal, I heard the microwave beeping... I was hoping to console myself with a chocolate mousse. It wasn't proper baking chocolate. I'd call it more like pre-made powder with a little water added. And if, as the waiter (rather sloppy, in flip-flops) and a woman in the kitchen claim, it's "homemade," they should find another line of work! I couldn't even get past the first spoonful. I immediately called the waiter over to tell him I wouldn't eat it. He sniffed it: "It's perfectly fine." I insisted it wasn't, and he went to ask the woman in the kitchen. Could I have expected any other answer than "well, it's fine"? If I had been the woman, or even the waiter, I would have apologized and offered to buy a hot drink. The attitude is appropriate for the setting. See their response. Not at all! The dish was around €15. I paid €23, including the coffee and... the foam! I will not go back under any circumstances. P.S. in response to the rather cheeky message from someone at the brasserie. I'm speechless. - You have a few fingers to open the bags of carrots. - If the plate came back empty, it's because the waiter finished it on the way. The fries were soggy and cold, the meat very fatty, and so on. —You forgot to mention, in your delusional rant, that the chocolate mousse was made with ingredients straight from Lenôtre! I'll stop there.

12/09/2026: If I could have given zero stars, I would have. I ordered a kebab and received a brake disc from a Clio 3 with cracks all over it. The only thing that was delicious was the can of soda. There was no choice of sodas, so I ended up ordering rainwater; it was cheaper. For the price, I could have bought two lollipops and been much fuller. In short, DISASTROUS. Furthermore, the fries were thrown into the bag like a three-pointer, which was actually an espresso bag. I thought I had ordered two croissants and a large coffee. Great option for vegetarians, I'm still looking for the meat in the kebab. Sincerely (I have a photo of the kebab).

27/08/2026: Terrible experience! The machine produced a burnt pizza with no toppings! I'm very disappointed with the service. I've had better pizzas from this machine between Custines and Autreville. I highly recommend the machine near Millery. The owners will probably delete my review because they don't take responsibility for their mistakes! Please improve 🙃

06/08/2026: Avoid this pizzeria! Under the pretext that the person taking my order made a mistake, I was served a Vosges salad without potatoes instead of some kind of pizza with potatoes. So far, so good, except for a very inappropriate and unpleasant remark accusing me of making a mistake and saying it was my fault! Everyone else at the table confirmed my order. When you run a business, you avoid this kind of remark and take responsibility for your mistakes, which is the least you can do! I will never set foot in this establishment again!

05/07/2026: We just devoured the Vosges salad and the four-cheese pizza. Delicious, both of them. The two people working tonight were super friendly and incredibly fast. In short, a first visit and we'll be back! 👌🏻 Thank you

16/06/2026: Friendly welcome, good selection of beers. For a café/bar near a train station, I think it's decent. However, the wait for service was very long, even though there were only four of us in the entire place. My meat was dry, even though it was meat in sauce. There were lots of little flies trying to get inside, which was annoying.

25/04/2026: While waiting for a TGV, I ordered steak tartare and chocolate mousse. What seems like standard fare in a brasserie. I was served something obviously mass-produced and clearly refrigerated. The mousse also seemed to be as mass-produced as they come, but the kind you'd find at a motorway service station.

16/08/2026: The food is very good and the best kebabs in town, but the problem is ordering by phone. The call drops, doesn't go through, or they answer and you can hear what's happening in the restaurant, but they don't respond and the call disconnects immediately. The Vesuvio pizza and the kebabs are to die for, but otherwise I recommend this restaurant; it's great for families, friends, or girlfriends.

16/08/2026: Simple or mega pizzas, but always excellent. The duo deal is a good option. The salads are original and generously sized. Khebabs and sandwiches are also very good. You always leave feeling satisfied for a very reasonable price. Try the small terrace at the back! 😊

06/07/2026: Two Shores Beach As a couple, we arrived this Sunday around 5 pm and sat down in a cozy spot in the shade. Thirty minutes later, no one had come to take our order, so my partner decided to go to the bar to get our 50cl beers. At 6:15 pm, the atmosphere was good, we liked the place, so we decided to enjoy a mixed platter with a bottle of wine. The bottle was served to us by a courteous, friendly, and pleasant waiter who explained that we would have to go and get the platter ourselves. At 7:30 pm, a young waitress, displaying an appalling lack of professionalism, asked us to change tables, saying she had to move ours to the next one because of a reservation for eight people for a birthday party. I told her I didn't want to leave this cozy spot for a table in full sun or one where I wouldn't be able to see the beach as I could at that moment. If the table had been reserved, a little courtesy—a small note on the table with the reservation time or a friendly welcome about thirty minutes beforehand—might have made us cooperative. But being practically thrown out as if we were unwanted, with no consideration or solution offered... The experience was ruined; avoid at all costs.

06/09/2026: A pleasant and quiet spot near the market where I've been going for several years. The staff has changed but they're still just as friendly and welcoming. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend it.

16/08/2026: We arrived as a group of four for a drink in the late afternoon in a pleasant setting. There was a long wait to order three Diet Cokes and a Perrier with lemon. We were served three Pepsies and a Carola without lemon… “You’re a brand-name beer enthusiast,” they told me! €16.80. I wasn’t going back then, and that’s it for good.

14/08/2026: We came for the first time this year, for lunch and dinner on the same day. The setting is very pleasant (pergola, pond, greenery). The staff (waitresses and waiters) were smiling, attentive, and efficient. The owner came by several times at lunchtime, and we had a very good rapport. The dishes are simple—exactly what you'd expect from a riverside restaurant—and of perfectly acceptable quality, all at affordable prices. At lunchtime, the tomato/mozzarella/arugula salad was fresh and well-seasoned, the vegetable tian was good, as were the mixed grilled meats and the fries. The mirabelle plum tart was very good. In the evening, I asked to replace the fries with something else, and they readily agreed. I received salad and good potatoes with my andouillette sausage (great sauce!). We had a great time and I am writing this review to echo some very harsh negative reviews that do not reflect everyone's experience.

24/08/2026: Shameful. All the vegetables and pasta were cold. The stir-fry was more like mush. The rice was burnt...impossible to eat, it crunched with every bite. Limited choices. One of the tables was empty... It was cold...in short...avoid this place.

15/09/2026: We arrived to ask for a glass of water, it was 36 degrees, they refused us, telling us we should just buy some and that we were bums.

14/09/2026: I tried their "homemade" macarons: ten for fourteen euros, a complete rip-off. Every flavor had one thing in common: they smelled more like chemicals than pastries. It was like a "toilet collection"—the "bleach" flavor, the "descaler" flavor, all that was missing was the smell of a toilet brush to complete the collection. "Homemade," sure, but in a house you wouldn't want to visit. The welcome was equally unwelcoming: cold service, and the display case looked more like a haven for flies and wasps than a pastry shop. I wanted to give them a chance. The result: fourteen euros down the drain and a taste I could have done without. Avoid it, unless you're the type to find charm in chewing gum picked up from under a bar table.
