30/05/2026: The waiter was disrespectful. I asked for a cocktail and he immediately told me "no," without any explanation. We waited 45 minutes before finally receiving any attention or even a glance from the waiter, who finally deigned to take our order. We weren't the only ones waiting; all the surrounding tables waited just as long. Even if it was the Champions League final, a little respect would have been appreciated, and they should have hired more waiters for the outside area. There were only two... perhaps they were all inside, catering to those who paid 20 to 50 euros just to watch the match on TV. I do not recommend this place.

30/05/2026: I was planning to go there for a drink, but a friend told me about a very disappointing experience. According to her, she waited over 40 minutes before being served and, after expressing her dissatisfaction, she was asked to leave. I find this behavior inappropriate and unprofessional for this type of establishment.

03/06/2026: Maghreb flavors...what a joke. The food is terrible. The only consolation is not getting sick after eating this ersatz couscous. What a disgrace to serve such a slop. Run away, it's a tourist trap.

07/04/2026: An excellent establishment. I noticed there's been a change of ownership. Which I find a real shame, as the place was much more welcoming under the previous owner, plus there was free Wi-Fi. Those who don't have it have found it under the new owner, who is also not very pleasant compared to the former owner. There's a lack of that, and the atmosphere isn't as enjoyable anymore. (Too bad, best of luck to the new owner!) 🥳🤔

11/05/2026: Plenty of choice, and all the quality is there. The sandwiches are delicious, and the muffins and apple pie are definitely worth trying. Plus, the staff is really friendly.

04/02/2026: The bakery has ordinary products, a bit below average, but the staff are friendly. However, the menu, starting at €3 in 2026, is a bit of a gimmick to encourage you to spend more; there's an excellent bakery just around the corner.

30/05/2026: The saleswoman's welcome was poor and unfriendly, and the hygiene was appalling: the toilet was absolutely filthy, with no toilet seat, uncleaned, and smelled of urine, with toilet paper everywhere on the floor – truly shameful for a place that serves as a grocery store.

06/07/2026: I don't go to this café as often as I used to. Each time I visit, I find the wait quite long, whether it's winter or summer, which makes the experience less enjoyable. I also feel that the quality of service has declined over the years. It's a shame, especially for such a well-located establishment, right in the heart of Nancy's iconic square. I hope these issues will improve, because the setting remains very pleasant.

12/05/2026: A decent cafeteria, ideal for a meal with friends or family, or for a quick bite. The place is a bit like a canteen, with a wide selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The staff (servers and cashiers) are always very friendly. As for the food, I have a small appetite and always order a small plate of fries, which I never manage to finish because the portion is so generous! For fast food, it's really good. The only downside was a wait of over an hour for a pizza that was forgotten during a busy period, but I understand that this can happen when there are a lot of orders. Overall, it's a good place.

28/02/2026: Occasional customer. But always delighted with the quality of the fresh and well-prepared products. The best sweet and savory treats in Nancy, and this has been the case for 50 years in the Saint Sébastien shopping center... my first purchase was apple fritters... a real treat, back in 1980... 19/02/2026: Despite a very friendly welcome, we were very disappointed by the quality of our purchase... and it's not the first time, so we're leaving this review. A few years ago, it was truly excellent!! This lunchtime: - The fried rice was incredibly bland, overcooked, with very little omelet and almost no sausage inside, just a ton of peas. - The spring roll: the pearly white rice paper was very dry, already cracked, with only one small piece of shrimp inside, and no flavor whatsoever... a spring roll should be generously filled and stick to your finger when the rice paper is translucent, indicating freshness! Disappointment... but the shrimp in hot sauce were quite good...

04/11/2025: We came to order pizzas, there was a long wait, so we waited. I was shocked by the pizza maker who was preparing the pizzas, constantly going back and forth to the bin, touching it with his gloves, and not changing his gloves to continue making the pizzas. I was very shocked by the hygiene standards of this restaurant; I won't be going back. Hygiene needs improvement.

16/12/2025: He closed without even warning his customers (there were signs on the door). Now it's "Smartsmash," pffft, not even a table and chairs...

06/10/2025: So, we know the products and the concept! It's Made in France! As for the rest, after the obligatory cigarette break, the woman explains that she went to bed at 4:00 AM and regrets her lifestyle choices (she still found the time to get nails worthy of a velociraptor). One of the guys informs us that he's going to pee (in a toilet without a sink) while the other quickly ignores the woman's innuendo about "needing nothing, wanting you in my head," etc., etc. The work surfaces are far from being regularly cleaned and are decorated with food scraps and used knives. Add to that the waiter's annoyed expression when he reminds a customer that the choice is limited to three raw vegetables, and it really speaks volumes about the consideration given to customers. It should be noted, however, that Uber Eats and other delivery drivers are, on the other hand, well received. In short, if you want to wash your hands before eating, appreciate cleanliness, consider the employees' lives to be none of your business, and are worried that the high noise level of conversations and laughter coming from the kitchen might disturb your lunch break, try a different Made in France restaurant than the one in Vandoeuvre…
