Lunch is 3 courses, starters are help yourself from a chiller, with a good choice.
Mains & puddings are to order from short menus of traditional French cuisine.
We visited before, in April, & found the place consistently good on our second visit.
No need to book, but I'd recommend going at midday or soon after for the best tables & food choices.
04/05/2026: A working-class restaurant with excellent service. The owners are very attentive, even during busy periods. Good value for money.

25/04/2026: A very enjoyable experience at Les Genêts d’Or restaurant in Muzillac. The mussels and fries were good, and the desserts, especially the chocolate profiterole, were excellent. The staff were friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend it!

08/06/2026: We came for Mother's Day and had a wonderful time. Despite the crowds, the service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The dishes were delicious, generous, and well-presented. Special mention goes to the terrace, whose idyllic view adds a real charm to the meal. A lovely place we'll gladly return to.

29/05/2026: Absolutely amazing tarts and such a kind and gentle owner. You also must try the homemade organic apple juice. It will ruin every apple juice you have in the future. I wish I could have taken home some bottles.
We will definitely come back next time we are here.

The tapas were delicious.
However, I had brunch and was a little disappointed; there was no hot chocolate, only orange juice. And there was a dog running loose inside.

21/06/2026: A truly beautiful place. The welcome was wonderful. And the meal was perfect: a risotto primaverde with seasonal green vegetables—a delight!—and a creamy lemon dessert with a Breton crumble. We loved it. Can't wait to come back.

We weren't disappointed at all, quite the opposite!
The owners are very friendly; the food is delicious (everything is homemade), and all served with good humor and smiles!
We wish you a wonderful and well-deserved retirement!
