15/05/2026: A very bad experience at L’Annexe, which had been recommended to us for having the best galettes on the island. We called at 6:30 pm to get a table and were told to come early and that there would be space outside. Upon arrival, the young waiter seated us inside, which suited us. A family who had booked two days earlier arrived afterward and found no room. The owner very rudely came to check our phone to see if we had the correct reservation. To avoid any trouble and to be able to eat what we had ordered, we offered to move to a table outside and give ours to the family. We ate freezing with our children in an icy wind. Blankets were provided. The owner came back to check that we had been told to sit outside on the phone, but his employee had seated us inside, which wasn't our fault (indeed, tables are sometimes canceled even at the last minute). The daily special galette with spider crab was nothing special, apart from the price. When it came time to pay, the owner made matters worse, even though we had been polite enough to leave our table. Reservations are very poorly managed, and the customer is completely disregarded. Compensation would have been appreciated. Very unprofessional, which is a real shame given the location and tourist traffic. Special mention, however, goes to the very pleasant, smiling, and efficient young waiter.

05/05/2026: Excellent service! I arrived during my lunch break with three friends, but since I had to be back at work soon, I asked if it was possible to eat quickly. Despite the restaurant already being full, I was served very quickly and was able to finish my lunch in time to get back to work without being late. Fantastic, thank you!

18/05/2026: Outdated decor that doesn't reflect modern Morocco. A family of four ordered four couscous dishes, which were neither couscous nor something more suited to tourists. The meat and vegetables were low-quality, served in bowls swimming in sauce. That's not what couscous is supposed to be. There were no utensils; couscous should be served with spoons. The four cakes served were frozen. The staff were pleasant, but not what you'd expect from a restaurant! For €4.85, a good homemade kebab would have been a better choice. The restaurant needs a complete overhaul; it's not up to standard. Avoid it, in my opinion.

22/05/2026: First visit to Hoedic and lunch at Jean Paul's this May 22nd. Warm welcome, very pleasant place, and above all, an incredible meal. Red meat for my husband and pollack for me. Well done, don't change a thing!

15/05/2026: I received a very warm welcome from the restaurant manager. Despite her being alone in the dining room and with only one other person in the kitchen, they managed the service very well! The meal was delicious! I'll definitely come back to the island sometime! 😊

14/10/2025: The saleswoman is rude, it doesn't make you want to go back. The herbal teas and coffee are excellent, though.

The service is consistent with the warm welcome and the wonderful impression you make upon arriving at the bar. The cuisine is refined and elegant. This restaurant is a must.

21/04/2026: I'm so glad this place is still here. I first visited years ago when it was under a different name. The type of restaurant is my very favourite for lunch in all of France. The buffett table is as fun as it is delicious. Choice of mains, great cider, cheese, really great dessert, coffee. All at a great price. Lovely setting. Walk to the river after. One of my favourite places in all of France.
