18/02/2026: We have been visiting Auray annually for about 14 years now. Always visit Cadoudal terrace for coffee and take our dogs. Service and coffee always excellent with terrific staff. Occasionally drop in for a drink of local beer and an offering of unusually good wine selection. Booked there for an overnight later this year and looking forward to the experience.

10/03/2026: Having been a regular visitor to Vannes, I had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time after reading several very positive reviews. I finally booked a table for lunch. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to my expectations. The welcome seemed rather lukewarm, which didn't exactly put me at ease upon arrival. The dining room is also quite dark and a bit gloomy, lacking windows except for a small skylight, which severely limits the natural light. Furthermore, the menu offers relatively few choices, both for dishes and wines. The food wasn't bad per se, but it remained rather ordinary and didn't seem to meet the standard one generally expects from a restaurant claiming to be gourmet. In the end, a somewhat disappointing experience considering the very enthusiastic reviews I had read beforehand.
