12/08/2026: Popped here for a pint/50cl and just a great vibe to it. Nice bar staff, decent selection of books (Had a read through of the Banksy artwork one) and just a decent bar in general - more chilled than by the Quai.

30/09/2026: Reopening less than a year after the fire – kudos to the companies involved. Everything smells of good bread. Disaster struck today, Sunday, July 5, 2020. Everything is destroyed; my heart goes out to you. Previous review: Great selection of breads and pastries. Easy access. Smiles included. However, a new "lumberjack" bread that needs more rising and a less dense crumb; it could also be made into baguettes.

15/07/2026: The saleswoman was unfriendly, the products were stale and tasteless—don't bother going there. Considering a small strawberry tart costs €24, the nearby Super U has a much better bakery. In short, avoid it; more than half of our order went uneaten.

25/09/2026: At Le PIC in Lorient, every meal is a discovery. The fresh, market-driven cuisine transports your taste buds to forgotten corners of the world. The chef's recipes are all meticulously crafted and enhanced by the freshness of the ingredients. The service is a perfect match for the food: friendly and cheerful, ensuring a truly enjoyable experience. It's well worth the trip!

27/03/2026: The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant is decent from Monday to Friday, and the cinema and swimming pool nearby are an undeniable plus.

01/03/2026: Thank you for the warm welcome we received. The hotel is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel has a restaurant open Monday to Friday.

17/09/2026: We wanted a table on the covered terrace by the wall, primarily because of our dog. Unfortunately, we were refused with the explanation that all those tables were reserved. We found it all the more perplexing that even after about two hours, those very same tables were still unoccupied. It was therefore incomprehensible to us why we weren't allowed to sit there. On top of that, the service was exceptionally unfriendly. It seemed to us that the owner was the one serving. Her interactions with us throughout our entire stay were very unfriendly and lacked warmth. As guests, we felt anything but welcome. We also noticed a significant difference in portion sizes. Our portions and side dishes were considerably smaller than those of the other guests. We can't say for sure what the reason was, but such unequal treatment naturally raises the question. We don't want to accuse anyone of any malicious intent, but we were left with a bad feeling. Overall, we felt neither welcome nor treated fairly. It's particularly disappointing that we felt we were treated differently as guests. And if our nationality did indeed play a role: Our generation can't be held responsible for the past. We simply want to be treated respectfully and equally as guests, regardless of our origin. Overall, our visit was therefore very disappointing. Based on our personal experience, we would not recommend this restaurant.

17/09/2026: Unfortunately, our visit was a huge disappointment. Upon arrival, we wanted a table on the covered terrace. We were refused, told that all the tables were reserved. We were left with only a table outside, where it was very windy that evening. It was all the more frustrating that around 9:30 p.m. – about two hours later – almost all but one of the terrace tables were still empty. The explanation about the reservations was therefore incomprehensible to us. The food also failed to impress us. It was average at best and not commensurate with the prices. In our opinion, the quality and portion sizes in no way justify the price level – the value for money is simply not there. We found the unequal treatment of guests particularly unpleasant: The other French guests were given nuts before their meal and significantly larger portions of side dishes. We were clearly not given these. Whether this was a coincidence or perhaps due to the fact that we are German, we cannot say. However, we certainly got the impression of unequal treatment. The food was also disappointing. In addition, the service was exceptionally unfriendly and unwelcoming, presumably provided by the owner herself. Throughout our entire visit, she seemed more annoyed with us than welcoming. All in all, we felt neither welcome nor treated fairly. For us, the overall experience – the service, the way guests were treated, the food, and the value for money – was completely unacceptable. We would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

06/09/2026: We stayed overnight at the hotel and decided to eat in the restaurant. After about 25 minutes, we finally received the menu. When we asked about it, the waitress couldn't explain, in either French or English, what, for example, the Butcher's Cut of the Day was. (At the next table, a man who arrived after us was already being served bread and water after about 20 minutes, while we were simply ignored.) For the sake of simplicity, we then asked about the vegetarian menu. She promptly disappeared to get a colleague, but this colleague never appeared. So, after about 40 minutes, we got up and left the restaurant. We drove into the village to another restaurant where we had a good meal and received friendly service. For a four-star hotel, such a restaurant is a disaster.

05/08/2026: A flawless experience! The meal was excellent, the dessert absolutely extraordinary, and the setting magnificent. Special mention for the team, who were particularly welcoming and friendly.

05/09/2026: Disappointing experience. The appetizers were barely served before the main courses were brought to the table. The wine we ordered didn't arrive (after we had to remind us) until dessert. ...hardly suitable for a pleasant family lunch.

14/09/2026: 5 years later and still so many bad experiences!!! Out of stock + stolen loyalty points. Incompetent manager, incapable of solving a problem... I can't wait for Burger King to open in Baud. 2019 message: This is the perfect place for a terrible family meal. There's always something missing from your order, whether you're at the drive-thru or inside. A 45-minute wait at the drive-thru. I recommend going to the McDonald's in Vannes; you'll be faster, and your food will still be hot. And the Very Parfait!!! Let's not even talk about it. I've attached a picture of my freshly made ice cream... doesn't it look amazing??? Where's the whipped cream? In short, this McDonald's only survives because it's the only one in the area. If you can, run away! No improvement since it opened. The shame of McDonald's in France.

12/09/2026: Waited 40 minutes for an order, even though there were very few customers, to get a burger with bacon, but it was bacon-free and we don't eat pork. A sundae with hair on it. The staff weren't very friendly.

19/09/2026: I've been incredibly sick since my lunch this Monday at L'Optimist - Tour du Monde in Larmor Plage. I can confirm the address. I was very disappointed with the welcome and service, and to top it all off, I got sick just two hours after my meal! I had to go to the doctor. Food poisoning... Shameful.

13/09/2026: Beautiful spot with a lovely view of the harbor. Pleasant service. Seaside cuisine; it's good but not exceptional. Considering the price and the view, it's acceptable.

11/09/2026: The half pizza of your choice with salad is a very good option. The prices are low and the location is very good.

07/09/2026: 11:30 am for drinks. Ten minutes of waiting only to be told we're moving to the restaurant and we're not serving anymore. Without even a hello. Maybe it's time to consider a career change.
