22/07/2026: Much more than just a restaurant, it offers an atmosphere, a friendliness, a welcome that is unfortunately uncommon these days; I highly recommend it.
27/06/2026: Very disappointed for a Saturday night. The dishes, in this case the mussels and fries, were completely tasteless. No choice of sauce. And no meat either. As for dessert, a Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with a white sauce) was utterly tasteless. The whipped cream was more like plaster. I've never seen anything like it. We left half of it. All this for 80 euros. It's certainly changed.

29/07/2026: And another star because I have to… We arrived as a party of six to have ice cream, and were refused a table for six on a half-empty terrace, where two people were seated at tables meant for six. Apparently, asking people to move was too complicated. It was extremely unpleasant; we won't be back.
15/07/2026: We arrived at 11:58 am and were refused entry because the restaurant opened at noon. The manager's welcome was very unpleasant, with no friendliness whatsoever. We were told, "We'll reserve a table for you, see you later." I strongly advise against going there; I recommend the crêperie 100 meters up the road, which is much nicer.

27/12/2025: Very large flat oysters from Henri's, ordered by Debon, very disappointed in the size. However, the flat oysters from Ets Geuzel are excellent and very, very large.

20/08/2026: Purchased two ham wraps around 6:00 PM. Around 8:00 PM, I unwrapped them from the plastic film and was disappointed to find a sticky, viscous paste inside, containing only a tiny piece of ham, a small tomato, and a slice of cheese. The price was €6.20. Given the extremely viscous texture of the paste, I decided to throw them straight in the bin. I don't think I'll be going back to this bakery.

02/08/2026: This bar, taken over by Marie, has been completely renovated, with a great atmosphere, an outdoor terrace, and the option to take home your bread if ordered the day before. It's a valuable community hub in the village; well done, Marie!

As for the service, it was decidedly nonchalant.
The burgers were large but delicious.

07/07/2026: The welcome is truly outstanding: warm, friendly, and very professional. The course is magnificent, nestled between the sea and the marshes, with an exceptional natural environment. The grounds team is also fantastic! It's a real pleasure to play in such a pristine setting, while observing the many bird species that inhabit the site. The layout is technical and varied, which makes it very interesting, but it remains enjoyable to play regardless of your skill level. The food is excellent!
12/05/2026: A good golf course, with a nice terrace at the clubhouse for a well-deserved beer on the 19th hole.
Just a little disappointed not to see more of the sea on the course... the imposing dune blocks everything; it wasn't how I remembered it from 15 years ago... but perhaps I'd embellished my memory 😃.
In any case, a pleasant and varied course in terms of distances; time flies.

20/07/2026: We came for lunch and everything was perfect; we received a warm welcome.
The galettes were very good. We wouldn't hesitate to come back if we're ever in the area again.
19/07/2026: We arrived quite late, and despite that, the staff managed to find us a table without any trouble.
Even better: when some friends joined us a little later, they managed to find us another table without any problem whatsoever. A real sense of service and hospitality – it was lovely.
As for the food, the crêpes were delicious, without a single flaw.
A place to remember, both for the staff's friendliness and the quality of the crêpes. We'll gladly be back!

19/05/2026: We stopped for a drink, but we regretted it. The owner was in a bad mood, the bar was disappointing, and the hygiene was deplorable. At the end of our drinks, we realized the glasses weren't clean... avoid this place; the chairs are in a terrible state.
25/02/2026: Le Contretemps is a really nice bar with platters featuring a variety of flavors, all homemade in the kitchen at the back left. A warm and very pleasant atmosphere. They have live music regularly. In short, everything we need in Auray. Thank you both for this lovely atmosphere! 👏👍
