22/08/2026: Once again, we had a wonderful time. We missed Castello during its closure. The food, the atmosphere, and of course, the service are always top-notch. We were delighted to return. The owner is a kind and smiling person. Our waitress was also lovely. We ordered the charcuterie board, followed by pizzas, a hamburger with homemade fries, and penne with chicken. Everything, right down to dessert, was delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

11/06/2026: We had specifically reserved a table on the terrace and clearly stated that we wanted the terrace. We even gave them our phone number in case it was unavailable, but upon arrival, we were told there was no terrace because there wasn't enough staff. As a person with reduced mobility, it's not easy to organize a meal with my children, but the waiter was unpleasant, even disrespectful (supposedly the manager). We spoke to the manager afterward, who explained that she couldn't find any more waiters. She didn't seem to mind leaving a disabled person with their family; she preferred to talk about herself and her difficulties. When you have an autoimmune disease and a disability, it's a real shock to have to physically plan an outing! The tables inside are crammed together, practically touching. We obviously didn't go any further and ate elsewhere on the terrace.

03/07/2026: A serious facelift is needed; we thought the place had been abandoned. There's a huge, hideous black stain on the roof, the colors are drab—in short, the exterior is truly ugly and uninviting. The service is adequate, but the prices are far too high for what you get. The taste and flavor are very bland; Picard does just as well. The bison terrine tastes like pork terrine, and the presentation, served in a jar, is really poor. The jar doesn't indicate the type or origin of the meat, but I seriously doubt it's American bison... Just average, 10/20

20/06/2026: We had a very good meal on the terrace this evening; the main course and dessert were both delicious. The service was pleasant, with a lovely waitress. A big plus is that you accept pets! This isn't the case everywhere.

27/04/2026: Too expensive, unwelcoming and aggressive staff who don't respect their word or the terms of sale given verbally. The site is aging, poorly maintained, and dirty. The picnic tables are even dangerous for children, especially due to their dilapidated state (planks are coming loose, the table wobbles, exposed screws). We paid for a full day but only managed one cast, and even then, we had to wait until 2:30 PM for the day to end at 6:00 PM. We were pleasantly surprised by the very few people we arrived at, but we were quickly disappointed. The welcome was icy, the prices were much higher than at nearby ponds, the picnic tables were dilapidated and unmaintained, and the ponds were in the same state. The toilets were dirty and inaccessible to people with reduced mobility, there was no water to wash our hands after using the toilet, and the toilet tap was broken. This will be our last experience at this site. We were with 2 adults, 1 child, and 1 accompanying adult. The price for children and adults is the same. We're used to fishing in ponds in the 95 and 60 departments, but the price of this pond is much higher than the others we've fished, especially a neighboring pond less than 4km away. We opted for this second choice because the neighboring pond was too crowded. Overall, this will be our first and last time at this location, especially since there are plenty of fishing ponds in the area. We'll look further afield next time. I'm giving it one star because it's impossible to give less.

12/08/2026: Not happy, in the future I'll announce my summer vacation dates on Google. It's great to arrive to find the door locked.

11/08/2026: Very disappointed with the salmon and avocado tartare. Barely 80 grams of salmon, a tiny portion, and barely 80 grams of fries. The profiteroles had hardly any whipped cream, because they were out. Unbelievable that they didn't have a can of whipped cream on hand. The dining room was extremely hot. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

16/05/2026: To break with tradition, we decided to hold our board meeting at the Cantina; a private space was reserved for us, with salsa music playing in the background. A great atmosphere, don't hesitate, go for it.

12/02/2026: A memorable evening, but not for the right reasons. We had plenty of time to solve the world's problems before we were even served. The wait was long, very long. Meanwhile, the music was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation without raising our voices—perfect if the plan was to avoid talking to friends. The tapas? Presented as rare treasures, the portions were so small. The prices, on the other hand, were very much there and not at all surprising. The value for money was bordering on an artistic feat. As for the owner, very visible in the dining room… we're still trying to figure out his exact role. A lot of presence, but little impact on the organization or the quality of service. In short: a place that focuses entirely on atmosphere, forgetting that customers also come to eat and have a good time. What we remember most is the bill.

21/07/2026: Nice and clean. Food looks great and tastes great. They prefer if you do lots of small trips to the buffet. They're not keen on food waste which is very understandable but we piled all our food waste on to one plate and they felt we had lots of waste. I agree with them on food waste though but just making you aware if you do eat there. All in all, I would recommend.

31/08/2026: As of August 31, 2026 We arrived at McDonald's at 11:10 PM and waited over 40 minutes at the drive-thru to pay for our order. We were patient after finally getting an employee's attention to pay, but he told us the order had supposedly been deleted because it was a large order and difficult to retrieve. (This was 10 minutes before closing time.) So, after almost an hour's wait, we had no order and went home. (For your information, there were still 5 cars behind us.) Uber Eats was given priority. NEVER AGAIN

29/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at the McDonald's in Saint-Maximin. The atmosphere was calm, and the service was excellent. The staff was remarkably kind, which we greatly appreciated. We were particularly impressed by Noah's attentive and professional attitude towards the customer, as well as the young woman who served us. A big thank you to the team for this excellent experience! 05/08/2026: This is my second time here, and I'll definitely be back! Their specialty, the kiosquito, is a real treat, for only €5!!! The staff are friendly and welcoming, a pleasure to visit. I highly recommend it!!!

15/08/2026: We had dinner there and frankly, I think the food has changed; it wasn't good at all, lacking in flavor and rather simple. We've had better at this restaurant. Disappointed for the price we paid. There was an unpleasant smell in the restaurant.

15/08/2026: Avoid this place if you have food allergies or intolerances. The list of ingredients for each dish is not complete nor accurate. When this was brought to their attention, they neither apologised nor offered a discount for the food not consumed.

25/05/2026: The waitress was very unpleasant. The wait was long considering how few people were there. It was very dirty. An internship at the Louvroil branch might be beneficial, if only for the smile and the welcoming atmosphere.

16/07/2026: Zero points, the pizzas are expensive because there's nothing on them. It's the first time I've ordered a pizza base from a vending machine.
