07/12/2025: Excellent lunch this Sunday very good value for money Dishes beautifully presented, a feast for the eyes and the palate! We will gladly return for another occasion €50 per person, but includes aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, and a glass of wine. The foie gras was succulent! The starter was a particular favorite.

10/12/2025: Our third visit to this beautiful authentic restaurant hosted by a wonderful family. Many thanks to the owner for making us feeling more than welcome. The food was amazing. Especially the tournedos was the best I have ever experienced. We will definitely come back for another anniversary. Calais is lucky to have a restaurant with top notch quality. Ps: the Chateau du Pape 2016 was absolument fantastique!

19/01/2026: Excellent value for money and a lovely northern French atmosphere, complete with homemade fries, carbonnade, and potchewelch (hard to spell, hard to pronounce... but so delicious). A word of advice: book in advance as it's very popular, and the football stadium and Louvre-Lens museum are just a 5-minute walk away! I highly recommend it if you

18/01/2026: We had lunch at this little bistro with my association between visits to the Louvre-Lens (which is really close by). Personally, I really enjoyed the friendly and cheerful atmosphere of the restaurant, and of course, the perfectly cooked carbonnade and fries. The service was excellent; the group was surprised to be greeted and served at the beginning by a young man who looked every bit the part of a future waiter! Keep up the good work! There's a good chance we'll be back!

10/11/2025: One of my favorite places, which I hadn't been to in a while. What a pleasure to be back! Refined cuisine, authentic flavors, and above all, seasonal ingredients. From the service to the food and the owner's kindness, you'll want to come back again and again! There's no children's menu, but they always find something to suit their tastes. 👍 Exceptional value for money.

09/12/2025: The name "Brasserie" could easily be replaced by "restaurant" because this is a place where you'll enjoy a truly delightful meal from start to finish. Through a window, you can watch the chef busy himself with sauces, fish, and other preparations, and then comes the tasting... a delight... flavors that explode in your mouth... I recommend it 100%... make a little detour, it's worth it...

29/11/2025: A restaurant where you feel right at home; the staff are lovely and they know you're going to have a great meal. The food is truly excellent. I'm from Brittany, currently sailing my boat, and this discovery is quite heartwarming. You can go there without hesitation.

21/09/2024: Assez déçu du repas ! A notre arrivée, On ne nous propose pas la suggestion du jour, qu'on propose à la table à côté, installé 5mn après nous 🤔 Passons... Nous prenons une carbonnade flamande hum le plat de notre jeunesse, sauf que: connaissez vous une carbonnade avec une poêlé de légumes dans l'assiette et une crème sous les frites ? Et le goût tellement prononcé de la bière que je ne fini pas, limite écœurant .... et les frites et bien plus assez de place dans l'assiette ,une poignée suffira ! Bref très déçu. Donc pas de desserts ni café, Nous irons ailleurs la prochaine fois.

15/09/2024: Décoration, style du restaurant annonçait une ambiances convivial et familial (comme les mineurs de l'époque et les gens du nord) mais les reproches du serveur en arrivant et tout le long du service, on laissait un goût amer. Nous avons été surpris de nous voir refuser les desserts des menus enfants alors qu'il était au menu et dans l'addition.

07/12/2025: An address not to be missed!! The staff is pleasant and smiling, the decor is old-fashioned, you feel right at home, like at Grandma's, in the best sense of the word, of course, with these vintage finds and objects from our beautiful, welcoming, and warm region. As for the food, there's a good selection, but not too much, which promises homemade quality! It was excellent!! There were eight of us at the table, and the children, just like us, had generous portions! Everyone tasted everyone else's plate, and wow, it was so delicious and comforting. Great fries with a wonderful beef fat flavor, a carbonnade and a Welsh rarebit to die for, excellent chicken with Maroilles cheese... And for dessert, a beautiful homemade chocolate mousse that was so good, the same goes for the crème brûlée! We will gladly return. We still have a few dishes to try 😊 An address I'm noting as one of my favorites this year.
