28/08/2024: Very nice restaurant in Ambleteuse on the coast, good welcome, friendly staff. The menu is varied, you can enjoy grilled sea bass, mussels, leg of lamb or a good piece of angus beef. The hardest part is choosing!

14/03/2026: I wanted to share our experience! We were supposed to stay at this hotel from February 13th to 16th, 2026, through Booking.com! My husband was ill and had to cancel in January. The hotel charged my husband €433, claiming it was a second booking for the same weekend (a luxury room)! To this day, we still haven't been reimbursed and have no proof of this second booking on Booking.com. Avoid at all costs! 😱😱

09/03/2026: We had a lovely overnight stay! Beautiful location and style of the B&B. It was relatively cold in the rooms and the heating makes quite a bit of noise. You can also hear some noise when someone is in the hallway or similar. Good beds and a good breakfast! Everything was also very clean. It is convenient that there is parking nearby. For the family room, you should keep in mind that you have to walk through one of the rooms to get to the toilet/bathroom.

01/04/2026: A great place I've been going to for over 20 years. It's a simple, unpretentious family bar where it's easy to chat over a drink or a coffee. The owner and her daughter are really nice, and there's a great atmosphere. If you're looking for simplicity and authenticity, then without a doubt, this is the bar to go to. You can also buy cigarettes, scratch cards, books, etc. Definitely worth checking out!

14/08/2024: Les petits enfants (8 et 12 ans) avaient envie de manger chinois à Berck. Habile avec leur téléphone ils ont trouvé ce restaurant traiteur. Tout le monde en a été ravi. Sans réservation à midi, nous avons quand été accueillis bien qu'il n'y ait pas beaucoup de tables. Le personnel est souriant, agréable, disponible et efficace. Nous avons tous bien apprécié la cuisine chinoise ou japonaise. Pour ma part je n'ai jamais dégusté un bobun aux crevettes comme celui là ! Les amateurs de makis, sushis et autres ont été comblés.

08/08/2024: Une très belle surprise en sortant de l'hôpital de Berck ! Vrais rouleaux de printemps (pas bourrés de vermicelles) .De la vraie nourriture asiatique goûteuse à souhait, tout y est à prix raisonnable. Toilettes super propres.. J'y retourne ce week-end avec mon époux d'ailleurs !

08/11/2025: I'll be objective: The driest and worst kebab meat I've ever tasted. I didn't try the rest of the menu and I'm not likely to go back. It's up to you. I find frozen supermarket meat much tastier... Luckily, the prices are reasonable. Basically, I threw it all away.

31/08/2024: Moules aux chorizo une tuerie, les plats sont délicieux, mais un peu trop de beurre ou de crème pour l'avis général de notre groupe, le chef cuisinier aurait un peu moins la main lourde et ce serait "top". Cadre agréable. Gros bémol par contre le prix des bouteilles de vin exorbitants. On se rabat donc sur le verre à 9 € que l'on paye ailleurs à 5,50 €/6€ pour le même type de resto.

29/08/2024: Nous avons passé une très belle soirée dans ce charmant petit restaurant. Les plats et les desserts étaient excellents. Dans un cadre calme, l'accueil était très chaleureux et le service était très attentionné. Notre jeune chien a aussi été le bienvenu. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce merveilleux restaurant!

12/04/2024: On est rentrés. On a attendu 10 mn. Personne n'est venu. On est repartis...Dommage... Ce n'était pas complet mais on a trouvé ailleurs. Donc tout va bien.

03/04/2024: Le cadre est toujours aussi agréable,peu de plats à la carte mais la qualité est au rendez-vous.Pas de vrai menu c'est bien dommage.Les plats arrivent tiédes et le café gourmand est vraiment médiocre.Qualité/prix correcte.Le service du jeune laisse à désirer.Visite du 29 mars.

06/05/2026: Coming from Le Touquet, we stumbled upon this bar which looked friendly, but the result was: a strange manager, not even a greeting when we walked in. We sat down on the terrace and the same thing happened again; no one came to see us after 15 minutes, even though the place was empty! In the end, we had to leave because the man didn't want to serve us. It might not be the manager, but the person at the counter was annoying, perhaps too drunk, or just plain unpleasant. In short, this bar is to be avoided! Zero professionalism on top of very unattractive prices.

26/08/2025: A timeless experience in the decor of this inn, with a kind and uncomplicated welcome from Madame Yolande. Grandma's family cooking with a unique dish: a stew simmered by the owner to delight her guests. You shouldn't come here looking for frills, but you will find authenticity. A single menu for €19 (starter/main course/cheese or dessert). The only downside is the lack of local beers and cheeses.

24/08/2025: Congratulations to Yolande who continues to work despite health problems and the years that have passed. Don't expect to eat in a gourmet restaurant or with a crazy atmosphere, but you will have relived a Sunday at your grandmother's with simple and efficient cooking. A Sunday "at grandma's", timeless, stress-free... enjoy before she hangs up her apron...
