The rooms are well-appointed, clean, very comfortable, and the bathroom is just the right size for us! Fantastic!! The food is prepared with love, it's generous and delicious, accompanied by a lovely wine list. The service is impeccable, and the waitresses are very professional and incredibly kind! We felt right at home, safe and secure! And your adorable little dog was so cute and knew exactly where to go for cuddles! His new tapas bar concept allows him to be even closer to his customers and offer wine recommendations. The dining room provides the perfect setting for a gourmet evening, thanks to the quality of the dishes on offer! A must-try address in Chalon-sur-Saône.

15/03/2026: We came in February for a relaxing break with a one-hour spa treatment and a one-hour massage. We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely setting, the remarkable kindness of the two estheticians who looked after us, and the perfect massage they gave us—one of the best we've ever had. Highly recommended.

12/03/2026: We didn't try the hotel as we live nearby. However, I really love the spa; it's large, clean, and offers a truly relaxing and restful experience. Sauna, hammam, showers, and a swimming pool are all there. The staff is always smiling and helpful. The relaxation room is superb, with armchairs, water, herbal tea, and lemonade. I'm going to try the treatments soon... Furthermore, the La Garenne restaurant is equally fabulous, with a simple menu, flavorful dishes, and beautiful presentation. The menu features the entire team, which I really appreciate. It's a recognition of those who work there and a testament to their human touch. Thank you for delighting us every time with your thoughtful gestures, warm welcome, and smiles.

07/03/2026: We were on our way to Starbucks when we passed by number 44. We decided to give it a try; the decor is nice, the welcome is warm, and the waitresses are friendly. The cakes are homemade, which is a plus compared to the big chains, and they're really delicious. However, the drinks were a disaster: a tasteless coffee, a smoothie that tasted more like water than a smoothie, and when you make a proper chai latte in a tea room, you infuse the tea directly in the milk. What we got was nothing more than tea with a drop of milk in it, and frankly, it had absolutely no flavor. I find it really disappointing that for the same price as a big chain just 10 meters away, they offer smaller drinks of lower quality. This is definitely the one thing they need to improve to get a 100% rating because everything else is worthwhile.

The eggs meurette and the Paris-Brest Franc-Comtois were delicious, followed by wild boar or a ballotine of guinea fowl with snails and fig tart or quince tatin. 13/08/2025: A very good restaurant with a fantastic view of the vineyards. One star deducted for the very high prices. Yes, this isn't a snack bar or run-of-the-mill restaurant, but anyone who goes here will get delicious food and excellent wine. Nevertheless, the prices are outrageously high, especially for a glass of wine, for example.
