25/04/2026: On our way back from vacation, we made a rather impromptu stop in Mâcon on a Saturday at lunchtime for a quick bite. A small, shaded square, parking just 5 meters away, a pleasant atmosphere, excellent service (quick, efficient, and with a smile), and the food was absolutely delicious and homemade! Bravo for the salmon, strawberry, and basil tartare combination... and thank you for welcoming our dog, Pepito! If we're heading back down the A6, we promise we'll remember to stop in the city center!

26/04/2026: We ate and slept at this place, which is a big yes. The dinner was excellent. A three-course menu that became six with the addition of two amuse bouches and one mini dessert. The menu cost €52 without drinks, proving that it's still possible to have great food at a reasonable price. My menu included Saint-Jacques as a starter and monkfish as a main course, so high-quality ingredients. The service was excellent, with very little waiting, and the staff were very courteous and friendly. The hotel room was spacious and quiet, and I can confirm it wasn't noisy despite its proximity to the highway. We also stopped for breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious, with baguettes and various jams, brioche, eggs, yogurt, fromage blanc, and compote. In short, it had everything for only €14. A place I highly recommend, well done! The spacious and modern room was also perfect.

20/04/2026: This restaurant offers excellent value for money! It feels like a gourmet experience at a very reasonable price (around 30-35 euros). The dishes are as delicious as they are beautiful, and the staff are very attentive.

12/04/2026: We spent two nights there as part of a weekend getaway with our club. The room was far from the most representative of the hotel in my opinion (two steps right at the door, admittedly indicated by a sign on the door), and only one skylight. The bedding was perfect, and the bathroom and toilet were separate, which was a plus. The staff, however, lacked the same level of professionalism. It's a real shame. Four people were excellent, aside from the hotel manager, the two waitresses in the adjoining restaurant, the bartender (his two other colleagues 👎: the group bothered them more than anything, but we were also customers), and the chambermaid.

11/04/2026: Having been to this establishment several times before, I'm definitely never going back. I ordered a "porn star" martini, and the waitress made me repeat myself because she hadn't quite understood. In the end, I was served a white martini. When I pointed out that wasn't what I ordered, they told me that's what they had written down. Mistakes happen. Then we waited over an hour to be served. There were five of us, and three of us received our food 15 minutes before the other two. My friend had ordered a margarita with extra ham, and for the second time, the waitress made her repeat herself. In the end, she was served a plain margarita. When my friend pointed this out, they told her she hadn't specified it, so the pizza went back to the kitchen. And 30 seconds later, to our great surprise, the pizza returned with pieces of COLD ham that they had clearly just thrown on top of it. At this price, it's unacceptable. The staff is very unpleasant and arrogant. I used to like this place, but that's no longer the case. Definitely avoid it.

08/05/2026: We had dinner there; there were two of us. The welcome and service were pleasant. We started with a country-style terrine, followed by a fish casserole (actually salmon). The dishes were good. We also had an aperitif and a half-bottle of sparkling water. No wine, coffee, or dessert. We paid 92 euros. The prices seemed very high to us.

The rooms are well-appointed, clean, very comfortable, and the bathroom is just the right size for us! Fantastic!! The food is prepared with love, it's generous and delicious, accompanied by a lovely wine list. The service is impeccable, and the waitresses are very professional and incredibly kind! We felt right at home, safe and secure! And your adorable little dog was so cute and knew exactly where to go for cuddles! 07/03/2026: We were on our way to Starbucks when we passed by number 44. We decided to give it a try; the decor is nice, the welcome is warm, and the waitresses are friendly. The cakes are homemade, which is a plus compared to the big chains, and they're really delicious. However, the drinks were a disaster: a tasteless coffee, a smoothie that tasted more like water than a smoothie, and when you make a proper chai latte in a tea room, you infuse the tea directly in the milk. What we got was nothing more than tea with a drop of milk in it, and frankly, it had absolutely no flavor. I find it really disappointing that for the same price as a big chain just 10 meters away, they offer smaller drinks of lower quality. This is definitely the one thing they need to improve to get a 100% rating because everything else is worthwhile.
