28/08/2024: I am frankly surprised to see some negative reviews which are absolutely undeserved. We went there without a reservation yesterday afternoon. My daughter wanted to eat a good raclette. Our request was accepted without any problem. Our waitress was alone but very present, the raclette was super good and not too long of a wait despite the number of tables to serve for one person alone. Not having finished our cold cuts, we were able to take it home to make our sandwiches today, which we greatly appreciated. Thank you for the welcome and the quality of the products.

25/11/2024: Another good place to share a few burgers with a good beer with friends! Atmosphere guaranteed, prices are reasonable, the view of the lake and the glacier from the terrace is great. Very international clientele, but it reflects the image of the resort!

07/09/2024: Be careful with certain drinks (fuzetea) that are one year out of date. The smile and the remarks of the unfriendly (boss?) eating his waffle at the counter should be seen again. You have to know how to recognize your mistake ;) Fortunately there are nicer cafes in Chambery.

03/12/2024: ⚠️ Attention ⚠️ A supposedly reputable establishment? Go to the L'ENDROIT bistro, you will get better quality meat and homemade fries cooked to order for half the price of here. 50€, a few sweets as a decent starter but nothing more. The dessert is more than minimal and of no interest for a birthday, two cakes valid for those at Carrefour Market cut into 25 parts accompanied by some red fruits to defrost... But then the main course! DISGUSTING and I'm not exaggerating! A meat full of fat and nerve or 4/10 was meat, but the fries, I made 3 people at my table taste them and they all spit them out (I didn't eat them). Cold and disgusting, and the cause was that the fries I had were the bottom of the same burnt fries served at the children's table 1 hour before when we were at the aperitif party ourselves. In short, horrible. 🤢 And the owner's dog walks from outside to inside, between the tables. No hygiene... The only thing that saved the establishment was the service which was impeccable because it has nothing to do with the kitchen side, but the plates and glasses were not clean. The glasses had traces of grease and limescale, and the plates had traces of grease and even dry remains that we could scrape off... 🤮 The table placement was also really very, very poorly planned because it was impossible to open the windows to cool off from the unbearable heat that was in the room and it was impossible to leave the table without making everyone move or go under the tables like some of us had to do... And no drinks offered other than water or alcohol, so didn't expect to be an adult and have the right to an ice tea or a Coca Cola... In short, total disappointment...

16/11/2024: Come for lunch only the daily menu offered, and surprise starter from the chef... Impeccable cuisine and service, very pleasant moment The only point that leaves one doubtful are the prices of drinks: glass of wine €9, beer €6.5, bottled water €8! .... An effort in this direction and it would be flawless. Very good impression anyway and place to recommend

24/03/2024: Poke bowl and mushroom ravioli were terrible. You could not even tell that there was ravioli in the dish - it was all just one, grey-brown mess. Two of us ordered and neither ate more than half (and that only because we were hungry!). Burgers seemed to be the only good thing our group had (note: one was quite under-cooked so you might want to give specific instructions). Service and atmosphere were good

27/03/2024: Second year in Val Thorens on a ski holiday at Easter and second year that we have this restaurant on the slopes as an obligatory stop. From the hamburgers to the omelette, to the menus and not forgetting the desserts, everything is delicious. The service and attention very good. We will repeat!

25/03/2024: This place is amazing, awesome food. We came back 5 days in a row. We tried several Entrees, all were done to perfection. Beer is top notch, so is the service.

01/09/2024: Very nice little restaurant, located at the top of the hamlet Les Charmettes. Accessible by car (large car park), by free shuttle (stop 50 m away) or on foot (approximately 2 km from the top of the station) Homemade dishes, we enjoyed the tartichevre. The chocolate fondant would have been even better if served hotter, too bad. New visit at the end of August 2024, tartichèvre a real treat and the artisanal ice creams are exquisite. We recommend. The place is really super nice, nestled in a quiet corner of the mountain and 2 steps from civilization but it feels like it 🤩

22/09/2024: A birthday that will remain unforgettable!!!! An extraordinary place, a very warm welcome, a fondue to die for, a delicious homemade cake...not to mention the marquisette! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Didier and Sylvain, you are at the top!!!!

01/09/2024: The white hat is earned! A lovely walk of around 1 hour in the forest starting from Les Frasses where you arrive at the Bonnet Blanc with a 360° panoramic view!!! Magic! And what’s more, the dishes are home-cooked and delicious! I recommend!!!

27/09/2024: 6 people arrived, including 3 with disabilities to eat on the terrace. But unfortunately the weather did not permit it. In a few minutes a table was set up for us.... yes with wheelchairs we take up a little space 😉 Superb welcome Superb meal Thanks to Stan and his team We will keep the address for a future stay.

14/08/2024: Superb terrace at the foot of the slopes in the middle of the mountains… a breathtaking view… Unpretentious restaurant but a little expensive... hearty dishes and limited side dishes gratin or vegetables... Great experience and decent meal…

09/08/2024: Disappointing! I ordered the salmon Poke Bowl which should have been served with mango, chickpeas, tomatoes......which were not on my plate! No flavor....no marinade......way too expensive for a bad plate! And I love Pokes Bowls! In short, it was the worst!
