23/05/2026: Very disappointed. We'd been here before, and it was great, but it's changed a lot. €20 for a Caesar salad, with just lettuce, four tiny pieces of chicken, a single sad egg, and four cherry tomatoes cut in half... it's pathetic. Far too expensive for what was on the plate.

19/05/2026: I had just arrived on the terrace when the owner started staring at me intently. I felt uncomfortable. When I simply asked for a glass of water, he made me repeat myself several times in a mocking tone. Then he spoke to me very rudely, acting like he had the right to speak to me. He thinks he's the king, but first, it would be better if he took a skills assessment to remain the owner.

12/03/2026: A truly unique experience. First, we were refused the menu; apparently, the effort of fetching it was too much for the waitress, Sophie. Then, there was an order error. We received a coffee and a hot chocolate instead of a tea. No problem, these things happen. However, there was a problem when the waitress sighed as we pointed it out. Finally, there was a billing error. I paid for a coffee and a hot chocolate, not a coffee and a tea. I only realized this after the bill arrived and didn't bother to ask for a refund of the few cents difference. Thanks a lot, Sophie.

01/11/2025: Stopped by several times for a coffee or a drink, small platters... alone, with family, or for a business meeting. After several years, I've concluded: a lot of turnover, very young servers, probably paid a pittance according to the pay scale, and the same managers rotating through the chain's establishments (you rarely see them in the dining room, not even during rush hour). In short, the recipe for toxic, cushy management that damages the city's reputation, and which should be replaced by people passionate about their work and who know how to run a business. And also, probably, they should pay them properly to avoid driving away their staff and discouraging young people from this wonderful profession. I recently remember a young woman, Lola, I think, who deserves to be a manager. Quick, professional, smiling, but stressed. You can feel the stress of the servers and the difficulties they face. People clearly come here for the setting, the proximity to the Parc Floral. It's magnificent. So it's justified on the bill, nothing shocking. BUT, the staff is underpaid and exploited. There are long delays between The moment we were seated, the moment our order was taken, and then we were served—even during quiet periods. But during rush hour, it's terrible. Every time, it saddened me to see the waitresses (and sometimes waiters) running around in all directions, left alone when people arrived in groups, without time to clear and clean the tables, constantly being called away. And with no colleagues coming to help, they had to deal with the discontent of customers who had the wrong people. I know I won't return to any of the Epikur group's establishments until the management changes. And I advise both locals and tourists against it. One of the few quality restaurants, L'Estrade, has closed; we won't find that same quality at La Rotonde, even though it has everything to be an exceptional establishment because of its location. A huge waste.

06/04/2026: Bought so many clothes here, such a great vibe in the shop. Love the fact there are so many other brands like rvca & dc too. The staff member Enzo was suuper helpful and friendly, which really made the experience all that much better. He helped me pick some items out for gifts and even a few things for myself. 5 stars 🌟

18/04/2026: Quick and efficient service. The food is simple, but that's exactly what you're looking for when you come here: a quick, good meal at a reasonable price. Located near the slopes, it's the perfect place for a quick 45-minute to 1-hour meal.

15/04/2026: Food is amazing, unfortunately only one guy is taking orders. We were waiting for 20 minutes even though it was quite empty, as it was early lunch. We kept asking if we can order for solid 10 minutes and guy kept us waiting. People who came after us got their food and we werent able to order yet. Very sad, considering this was my favourite place in whole of Tignes.

27/04/2026: We used to have a great crêperie in Val-d'Isère (Grand Marnier), but now we have a crêperie that's not good and, on top of that, outrageously expensive, with a 40% price increase on all crêpes since the change of ownership in 2026. It's a real scandal. And besides, it's empty compared to before.

12/04/2026: Crepes in all their forms! Perfect for true foodies! Ideally located, this little creperie is the clear winner among "yummy" addresses.

22/03/2026: We ate there twice, the pizza chef is excellent. We weren't planning on ordering pizza, but it was a very pleasant surprise! The desserts are good too. The self-service system isn't very welcoming, but frankly, we weren't disappointed with anything else. A very pleasant surprise.

14/03/2026: The La Bergerie mountain restaurant in Valfréjus boasts a lovely location, and the place itself is pleasant. It could be a truly fantastic spot for a break in the mountains. Unfortunately, the major drawback is clearly the service, especially at the bar. A particularly unpleasant young waitress, without a smile and unfriendly, made us feel like we were bothering her when ordering. The waiter, for his part, was impressively slow. The result: phenomenally long wait times at the bar, which completely ruined the experience. We especially get the feeling that they're taking advantage of being the only restaurant at this altitude, which means customers don't really have any alternatives. It's a shame, because with decent service, the place could be truly enjoyable. But as it stands, the welcome and service don't even deserve one star.

02/01/2026: We stayed three nights at the Auberge de Savoie in Moûtiers with friends. The welcome was very good, and the staff were pleasant and smiling, which was much appreciated. However, our experience was severely marred by serious issues with comfort and cleanliness. From the moment we arrived, there was an extremely unpleasant sewer smell in the room. Air freshener plugs were already in place to mask the odor, but they were toilet air fresheners, which still left a persistent and very unpleasant smell. So much so that all our clothes left smelling of it, even those in our suitcases. The carpet in the room was in a deplorable state: numerous questionable stains, a very dirty appearance, to the point that we didn't dare walk barefoot or in socks. It clearly hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. The box spring was also stained (including with blood), which is unacceptable. Other negative points: • No safe in the room • The two single beds were not at the same height, and the mattresses were very worn • We had pushed the beds together to sleep as a couple, but housekeeping systematically separated them again • The trash was not emptied • The blankets were barely made, giving the impression of sloppy cleaning On the positive side, the bathroom was reasonably clean. In summary, despite a friendly welcome, the overall condition of the room and the lack of cleanliness do not meet the expectations one has for a multi-night stay. Significant improvements are needed regarding hygiene, room maintenance, and odor control.

19/12/2025: Excellent inn, 100% Savoyard. I highly recommend it. And above all, a very good restaurant.

09/06/2026: Hello, I live in the countryside and usually buy a batch of four loaves of bread per week and freeze them. No problem, but for the last three months, when I take them out, they're inedible, dry, and fit only for the chickens. What's going on? Is it the change in flour? Or something else...? Thank you for your reply. By the way, the saleswomen are nice...

02/06/2026: Rosette sandwich: half a baguette with 4 slices of rosette sausage and 3 half-cornichons. A rip-off.

02/04/2026: Great place for an evening with friends! We enjoyed a delicious fondue, cold beers, and a perfect tiramisu. The warm and stylish decor made the atmosphere even more pleasant.
