We were very VERY kindly welcomed and served... and the pizzas were always delicious. Too bad the restaurant closed for the first week of September.

I had an appointment for a massage at the hotel spa as an external client. The spa is spacious with two saunas, a hammam, a jacuzzi and a beautiful swimming pool. The welcome was very good and I had an absolutely crazy Californian massage! The total disconnection, the perfect pressure, time stood still, I will go back next winter, it was great!

16/12/2023: The dishes are correct and homemade, but it is not exceptional either and even rather standard. Someone will have to explain to me the small sweet crepe at 5 Euros without presentation for a manufacturing cost of 18 cents, the rather mid-range pizzas, the small chocolate fondant at 8E50. Without forgetting that the rations are identical for children (much too big for them) and identical prices. And the waitresses unable to communicate with each other with the unpleasant effect of having to say things twice to get what we asked for. Finally the timing: 1 hour for the main course, 1 hour for dessert. As much as the first hour doesn't bother me, the second is exaggerated, we hesitated to leave it there. However, on this August evening there were not many people. It is clear that I will not return. Go on your way... tourist trap (and what's more, I'm not one).

Personally I'm not a big fan of strawberry or sweet and salty combinations but everything was very balanced and surprising. This changes standards and takes us further in the search for taste. Thank you for this experience, only the dessert is the shadow on this discovery table! Far too far from natural research, too chemical a taste given by the candy side! Thanks for the experience!

A rating of 4.3/5 surprises me! Randomly - to order - one time you have to go to the counter, the other time you have to sit down. The wait is long even though there are 1 or 2 people serving and 4 to 5 tables… I ordered a latte, I asked kindly if they could warm it up for me (the milk), I I had a remark: I had to order a café crème... ha sorry, excuse me for not being a barista..! Change jobs and leave the business, you are as friendly as a prison door. Response from owner an hour ago Sir, thank you for not leaving a false comment on the restaurant, it is to your credit! Concerning the service, there is nothing random, it is simply a question of schedules and availability depending on the arrival of employees. And yes, alone, I cannot manage both the bar and the terrace! If you don't have time to wait on a Sunday morning, especially during your vacation, there's nothing I can do about it. To clarify, you ordered a café crème and not a café au lait, but that's not really the problem. When you came back to ask to reheat it, we really felt like we were being taken for incompetent people who don't know how to make a latte. I'm past the age of being scolded without responding. 09/09/2024: I had the opportunity to dine at the restaurant and I must say it was an exceptional experience! The setting is warm and welcoming, ideal for a meal with friends or family. The staff is attentive and professional, always smiling. As for the cuisine, the dishes are tasty, well presented, and prepared with fresh, local products. The portions are generous and the prices remain very reasonable for the quality offered. I highly recommend if you are looking for a good restaurant in the area!

09/04/2024: The best Bar/Restaurant in the Contamines MontJoie - Hauteluce ski area. This is the last authentic and non-tourist trap restaurant in the resort, you will find excellent cuisine, with good dishes typical of the region, with excellent value for money. The atmosphere is great and perfect, if you are a person who wants to enjoy, eat well and drink well then you are in the right place! Start your lunch by going to the bar for an aperitif with the boss, if you are at least educated, and with respect, you will be well received, then continue the meal by warming yourself by the fire in a back restaurant room , and to finish with the digestive coffee! At the end of the season, you can also enjoy a large sunny terrace, and it feels really good! Only positives at the Taverne de Belleville, The owners, the waiters, and the cook are very efficient, everything is perfect We eat well there, we drink well there, we are happy Can’t wait for the winter season to start again!

24/02/2024: Je recommande fortement l'établissement, les patrons sont très souriants, je félicite le chef cuistot pour les plats incroyables qu’il nous prépare. Etablissement rustique a visiter quand on est de passage sur Hauteluce.
