23/02/2026: A fantastic and cosy restaurant located at the top of the first lift. It offers a small but well thought out menu, that has clearly been mastered over years. Whilst the food was expensive (simple yet delicious) the flavour was well worth the cost. The only caveat is the restaurant is small and very busy, so if you go as a small group you will most likely be sat at a table with other guests.

21/01/2026: A break at this restaurant is a must after a few runs down the slopes, to enjoy a generous croziflette or some incredible Thai ravioli. All served by a super friendly waiter in a very relaxed atmosphere... I'll definitely be back soon.

21/06/2025: We left very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant, not because of the food or the atmosphere, which were truly excellent, but because of the bill management. We ordered two €39 menus, one of which included a €2 supplement for a prime rib. We added two kirs at €5 each and a glass of wine at €7. This brought our total to €97. However, we were billed €128. On leaving, we found this surprising, did the math, and decided to come back and ask for an explanation. The person in charge checked very quickly, without really listening to our comments, and ultimately only refunded us €14, without any clear justification or goodwill gesture. We found this a real shame, because the meal was good, but the unprofessional attitude and lack of transparency on the bill completely spoiled the experience. Paying far more than you should, without any real explanation or consideration, is unacceptable.

03/06/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We have been staying at the Hôtel Spa Les Carrettes in Valmeinier for many years and it is always a real pleasure to return. This family-run hotel, ideally located at the foot of the slopes in Valmeinier 1800, offers an exceptional setting for a successful holiday. The south-facing rooms with views of the valley are superb and very comfortable. The cuisine is varied, generous, and excellent value for money. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere is part of the hotel's charm, thanks to a team that is always enthusiastic and welcoming. This year, we particularly appreciated the wonderful new addition: a superb spa area, perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing. Another major advantage: ski-in/ski-out access, with direct access to the equipment rental shop. And what can we say about the owners? They are available, warm, and always attentive to their guests' needs. A huge congratulations to the whole team! We highly recommend this establishment and can't wait to return.

18/09/2025: Logis Hôtel du Crêt Rond – Review 🚴‍♂️ Location: Fantastically situated between the legendary Col du Galibier and the Col du Télégraphe – a perfect starting point for ambitious road cyclists and mountain lovers. Directly on the Route des Grandes Alpes, quiet and close to nature. 🍳 Breakfast & Restaurant: The breakfast is plentiful, fresh, and flavorful – ideal for a pre-tour refueling. The hotel's own restaurant impresses with excellent cuisine and regional quality. A real treat after a long day in the saddle. 😊 Service & Hospitality: The friendliness of the staff is particularly noteworthy. Additional requests, such as an extra blanket, were met promptly and easily – you feel welcome and well looked after here. 🛏️ Rooms: The rooms are rather small and rustically furnished, but very clean and well-maintained. Those who appreciate cozy and authentic surroundings will feel at home. The wood paneling gives the hotel an alpine charm. ✅ Conclusion: A family-run hotel with an excellent location for active athletes and nature lovers. Friendly service, excellent food, and an atmosphere that invites you to return. A real insider tip for road cyclists.

16/09/2025: Very quiet, clean, comfortable. The food is of good quality and the breakfast offers a very varied buffet. Very well located for those who want to hike and especially go around Mount Thabor. Highly recommended!!!

19/04/2026: Terrible! We arrived, a table was available, but since there were only two of us—my hungry 11-year-old daughter and I—they refused to let us eat there. How shameful! Avoid this place at all costs, not to mention the exorbitant prices.

11/04/2026: We wanted something fresh and different to the usual fayre we had received in the resort. The sushi was authentic and exquisite, the gyozo's are fab. I would recommend to book, because the place is very small. We came twice because we enjoyed it so much. Great Service and. Real family feel. Thanks for some great meals

24/04/2026: This stop was a must for us when we went to Tignes. We always received a warm welcome and the food was very good. Be aware, however, that the kitchen is closing earlier and earlier, which is a shame as we won't be able to stop by anymore. It's now closing before 10 pm, then 9:30 pm, then 9 pm... They probably don't want to work anymore. Disappointing.

14/04/2026: Not many people to be served, a disaster. I had time to eat my starter, but they didn't bring me the bread; I had to go get it myself, and on top of that, he was grumbling and unhappy, really very unpleasant.

11/04/2026: Horrible service , the food in the main restaurant is terrible and the service in the restaurant is teribble! The rooms are not that clean. They didn’t add more towels when they were all used. The room was soooooooo hot, the bed is uncomfortable and so are the pillows. In breakfast they charge you money if you ask for fresh orange juice, in the half board they caculate at dinner what you order and the if you exceed 65 euro per person they charge you extra. The only good thing I have to say is about the ski shop - Andy was so lovely and gave us the best service. Bottom line this is not a 5 stars hotel

07/04/2026: Great experience despite reading the mixed reviews. The staffs and conceige were all very friendly and approachable, we had a great time with gd memories of our stay Heated ski lockers and ski in/out was super convenient. Not to mention the ski rental is just beside the lobby. Special mention to the one of the conceige staff ( a young guy sorry we din get his name ) who assisted my hubby with the winter socks for our rental car. He even gave us 2 bottles of water for the road. These kind gestures meant so much to us. Oh the free shuttle to town and back were such a nice touch esp on snowy days. Thank you Altapura for adding fond memories to our French alps adventure. Hope to be back in near future as we are from far away Asia.

12/04/2026: So, for our weekend ski trip with friends, we chose this restaurant with plenty of space. The waitress and owner were friendly, and the rib steak and beef bourguignon were excellent. The prices were reasonable too. In short, highly recommended if you're visiting Les Arcs 1800.

08/04/2026: I really love this restaurant; I go quite often and it's always a pleasure to return. I almost always order the warm goat cheese salad—it's absolutely delicious. Sometimes the goat cheese is on bread, sometimes on croissants, and I enjoy both versions. The service is excellent, the servers are friendly, and it's a pleasure to go there every time. It's simple, good, and efficient; I'm never disappointed. I go back regularly without hesitation. 🙂
