15/09/2024: Lieu splendide, vue exceptionnelle, plats excellents avec des saveurs incroyables. Quelques déficiences dans le service (eau et pain non suivis), trop long (4h à table), avec un chien pénible à la table voisine. Dommage car ça reste quand même incomparable !
12/09/2024: Le lieu est agréable et le service de qualité. En revanche et c'est devenu l'usage chez les étoilés aucun choix possible, chacun est obligé de choisir le même menu et oui le client n'est plus roi. Mais le pire est que ni mon épouse ni moi n'avons prit du plaisir sur aucun des plats. Beaucoup trop d'epices qui altère le gout (gingembre, piment entre autre) un petit cube de viande presque imangeable (gout prononcé de fumé et de sel) en face de nous une dame agéé faisant triste mine en tentant d'avaler une bouchée de cette même viande ! Bref cela ressemble plus à de la chimie qu'a de la cuisine

26/08/2024: The service is very friendly. The rooms are fitter rooms. Not recommended for a stay of several days. It is very noisy due to traffic noise
24/08/2024: Very recent small apartments, well equipped and isolated. High speed WiFi. A kitchen area but not really anything to cook with. Just an electric oven and a microwave. But the restaurant is right next door with pizza or takeaway possible. Very calm overall, relaxation and rest assured

16/05/2024: We would have skiied right by if not for a recommendation from a local to visit. The food was stellar and the wine list extensive and impressive. It's not cheap but I felt the value was reasonable to the quality and location.
28/04/2024: Stopped for a light lunch so had a sharing platter and wine.
Lisa rose was fabulous especially for the price.
The sharing platter of meat and cheese was unbelievable. Not only quantity but the quality. 37€.
Would have been enough for four of us. So good we asked for a doggie bag. They happily obliged.

18/03/2024: Pour la fondue savoyarde, que nous n'avons pas appréciée, un gros doute sur le fait maison. Le dessert Tartarin qui ressemble plus à un mille feuilles et la tartes aux myrtilles bof.
En revanche le service ( à l'étage ) est très sympa ainsi que le cadre.
Le test de fondue savoyarde n'étant pas passé, on ne prendra pas le risque de revenir, tester le reste de la carte.

08/08/2024: Apart from the first class service I have enjoyed for many years staying in Courcheneige, I had an incident on my last trip in March 2024 while skiing. I stayed a night in Albertville Hospital.
I was traveling on my own. The support my family in uk and I received from Hotel in particular the hotel manager Mr Yannick Aubry, was second to none. Very much appreciated.
06/04/2024: Lovely food great service, pizzas were fantastic and a good price for the area, worth every penny. View is amazing and atmosphere was perfect

Refuge du Roc de la Peche

19/12/2024: I spent two magnificent weekends (in autumn and winter) in the beautiful Refuge du Roc located in the Parc de la Vanoise, which I discovered, a wild place as I love them. I highly recommend this place, where you are warmly welcomed by Alexandre, the refuge keeper, and Gaspard, and where you eat delicious and sometimes surprising dishes concocted by Bjørn, the chef. I plan to return to the shelter in 2025 for a longer stay!

23/09/2024: €27 for two for two pizzas, an acceptable price if it weren't for the fact that: The worst pizza I've ever eaten in my life, worse than the frozen ones, furthermore, 3 cheese pizza, with the presence of very little cheese, pasta that isn't leavened at all and doesn't It didn't even look like pizza dough, not much seasoning and I'm in the center with four fingers of undiscovered space.... It's the first time in France that I don't love pizza! I usually like cheese pizzas in France more than those in Italy! Furthermore, if I saw other dishes passing by, it would have been even worse! Draw your own conclusions!

24/08/2024: Do not take into account the opinion of Louis Roule who gave it 1/5 because he was not able to get his free hats even though he certainly ate very well. It’s really pathetic and this review has no place here. Because yes, it’s really very good from the pot and the service is top notch. Continue like this.
23/08/2024: This restaurant is quite large. The servers are attentive and friendly.
The pizzas are huge. The Savoyard fondue is good without being extraordinary.

Breaded perch fillet, fries.
How can I say, the fish was dry, no flesh inside, cooked and recooked?? Or expected, indefinable.
But frankly, a big No

01/08/2024: Tra le curve e le pieghe del magnifico Col du Galibier abbiamo fatto pranzo in questo locale. Tavoli all'aperto con viste magnifiche, cameriere gentili e veloci, ottimi ed abbondanti piatti. Un faux fillet con patate fritte, una tartiflette maison con insalata e una deliziona mousse au chocolat sino state le nostre scelte. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo anche considerando che si trova in un posto turistico in Francia. Consigliato a tutti i motociclisti

La terrasse est pleine… les serveuses courent à gauche et à droite pour servir les clients et débarasser les tables et tous les clients qui arrivent s’assisent sur une table qui se libère mais pas encore debarrasée…
La serveuse a alors le culot de dire que les cyclistes manquent de respect en s’assoir sans demander l’autorisation préalabe, alors que les autres clients non cyclistes font tous pareil et que les serveuses sont déjà assez occupées
