15/03/2026: A very good experience. The dishes were excellent and the quality of the food was truly outstanding. A big thank you to the waitress and the owner for their warm welcome and professionalism. The only slight drawback was a bit of a wait for our reserved table, and the bartender wasn't very friendly, offering no compensation despite the delay. A shame, because the rest of the service was truly excellent.

13/05/2026: We had booked a table for 10 people at this restaurant for a bachelorette party, after making sure to ask beforehand if there would be any atmosphere. We were assured there would be a DJ. Two days before, we finally received a text message informing us that the DJ would be absent. I then contacted them again to ask if there would still be music, making it clear that it was a bachelorette party and that we wanted a festive evening. I was told that there wouldn't be any problem and that they would play music. On the day, huge disappointment: we arrived and learned that we would be the only customers in the restaurant that evening. No atmosphere, no anticipation, nothing. You should have warned us that there would be no one there and no festive atmosphere. A bachelorette party isn't something you do every weekend. There's no point in saying we should have asked for music: it's not up to the guests to control the atmosphere of an evening, especially after all the assurances given before booking. When you host guests for such an important event, you do everything you can to ensure they have a good time. So we dined alone, in dim lighting, with several dishes unavailable on the menu. A very bad experience and a huge disappointment.

25/05/2026: I'm posting this comment because I don't understand these people who systematically criticize restaurants, and by extension, restaurant owners and their employees. I've eaten several times at La Peau Vache in Val d'Isère, both for family meals and business lunches, and I've never been disappointed. Perhaps these people who constantly criticize should change their approach to the staff and take into account the challenges of working in the restaurant industry. As for me, I've always been very well received and served. I highly recommend this establishment; the decor is exceptional, and the location is simply magnificent. A big thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and dedication.

19/09/2026: I stopped by for dinner around 6 pm. I received a warm welcome and the table service was provided by a woman named Clara. The managers were very attentive. I recommend it.

11/08/2026: Avoid at all costs! The daily special is a rip-off. It's not real cooking, just a poorly assembled, tiny portion for an exorbitant price. The rest of the menu is the same; perhaps that's why there were only three tables while the restaurant next door was packed? This policy is outrageous and damages the reputation of mountain restaurants in the summer.

17/08/2026: Excellent service! It's by coming to this bakery, Marie Blachère, that you realize there are French-style bakeries making enormous efforts, with an extremely friendly manager who listens to customers, and of course, excellent food. I highly recommend it.

23/08/2026: The service was extremely disappointing. We simply wanted to have lunch at this restaurant, as several tables were still available. Instead of being welcomed, we were immediately directed to other establishments. When we asked if it was still possible to have lunch there, the restaurant owner's response was: "If you have 45 minutes to waste..." We found this way of treating customers discourteous and unprofessional. We therefore left, and given this reception, we do not recommend this establishment.

29/08/2026: Very poor experience. The staff explained absolutely nothing about how things worked or the prices. Salad at the buffet was €10 for 200g, hot side dishes were over €10 for 250g, and flank steak with fries was €20 without mentioning that the side dish was already included. The result: two hot dishes, a lot of leftovers, and an extremely high bill. A truly mediocre meal for the price. Very disappointing.
