05/08/2026: Mazat's, Vauréal A shawarma that deserves its own fan club. The chicken is seasoned with almost suspicious precision—I checked, no one in the kitchen has superpowers, they're just incredibly talented. The Lebanese white wine: a superb discovery. It undoubtedly deserves a standing ovation. The terrace? It's simply wonderful. The staff is lovely, attentive, almost telepathic. And a Sunday brunch that seriously makes you rethink your life priorities. Lebanon has arrived in Vauréal. Thank you to them.

04/08/2026: Discovered by chance after a film at the cinema next door. Very nice setting, smiling and warm welcome, excellent meal but high price (€60 for 2 for 2 beef skewers + 2 chicken skewers and some cold side dishes) even if it's fresh, it's in the suburbs not in the heart of Paris.

07/07/2026: A place we've been coming to for many years. Always a very warm welcome, for a pleasant seaside getaway. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closing, what a shame. This restaurant was a haven, a reliable choice, a family favorite where the dishes pleased both young and old. Where will we go now?

28/06/2026: Very disappointed. We arrived and were seated at a table with leftovers from lunch, a baby cockroach crawling around (they cleaned it up quickly), very slow service despite few customers, and the food wasn't great at all. There were seven of us, and one appetizer arrived before our drinks! And last night, we were in a violent hailstorm… Very disappointing, we will definitely not be returning.

The prices are reasonable (18€ for a main course or main course and dessert / 20€ for a starter, main course, and dessert). I recommend this place and I will definitely return.

23/07/2026: A must-try! This is truly the place to be for lovers of refined yet unpretentious cuisine. The menu is always very inventive, the dishes are meticulously prepared, both in composition and presentation, and the cooking is simply perfect. Reservations are essential as this restaurant is very popular. I've never been disappointed; I highly recommend it!

No prices displayed on some products, suggestions from the waiters without mentioning the price of extras on every floor, and then, surprise, the chef's bill calculated... unheard of! No receipt, nothing, just a credit card slip. The owner is unfriendly. I'm happy to pay, but not to be ripped off! 😡

12/07/2026: We had a wonderful time on July 10th celebrating my husband Bernard's 80th birthday. There were seven of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the gourmet meal. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the desserts were delicious. Thank you to Annick and Alain Dufils for recommending this restaurant. The shaded terrace, with its pergola and lush greenery, was very appealing. We will definitely be back. Even in winter, the interior feels cozy with its fireplace. See you soon... 30/06/2026: A terrible experience at Léon restaurant this lunchtime. At first, everything seemed fine; we were allowed to choose our table. But then it was a disaster from beginning to end. In the middle of a heatwave, we waited over 30 minutes just for a carafe of water and for someone to take our order, even though the restaurant was practically empty. The service was extremely unprofessional. The waitress brought my friend a Coke with a glass, ice cubes, and a lemon, while my Orangina arrived without a glass. When I asked for a glass, she replied, "Do you want one too?" which seemed perfectly normal. What's more, she had forgotten to open the bottle and had to come back later. Then there was an even longer wait between each course. As for the food, the mussels were okay, but the fries were clearly mass-produced and of poor quality. My friend initially wanted a rare hamburger, but the waitress told her that wasn't possible. She then asked for her fish to be cooked rare, and the waitress replied, “I’ll try to do it.” At that point, we quickly realized it was going to be difficult, so my friend changed her mind and ordered fish and chips. But there again, it was a huge disappointment: the fish was so soaked in oil that it was literally dripping. My friend could barely eat it. When the waitress came to clear the table and asked if “everything was alright,” we explained the problem. Her response was, “Yes, but it’s deep-fried, it’s normal to have oil.” A frankly unacceptable reaction instead of acknowledging the problem. To compensate, a Coke was offered, but honestly, it didn’t make up for the overall experience. The waitress remained unpleasant and unfriendly throughout the meal, with a curt tone, and even ended up bumping into me as she left. Between the interminable wait, the lack of professionalism, the poor quality of the food, and the attitude of the service, this lunch was a huge disappointment. We will not be returning.
