25/08/2026: After a steep climb of about 100 meters to reach the heart of Montmorency from Soisy/Enghien, my favorite thing to do is settle down on the terrace of the "Cheval Blanc" for a well-deserved refreshment, just enough time to soak up the atmosphere before strolling around. From the terrace, there's a full view of the Place Roger Levanneur and its lively atmosphere, whether it's market day (Wednesday/Sunday) or not. And what has always surprised me is learning that the establishment used to settle the bills of impoverished intellectuals and artists in the 19th century by using one of their works.

The rooms are particularly spacious and well-maintained, offering all the necessary comforts for a pleasant and productive stay. We especially appreciated their homemade harissa, which adds a unique touch to their service. In short, this hotel met all our expectations, and we will definitely return for our next business trips. 20/04/2026: With this racecourse shared between Soisy-sous-Montmorency and Enghien-les-Bains, equestrian sports inevitably take center stage, with the Grand Prix de l'Atlantique, held there every spring, as its flagship event. But that's not all, because in the autumn, the Grand Prix International des Feux d'Arts (International Fireworks Grand Prix) takes over, illuminating the racecourse with its dazzling display. These are two prestigious events that I've attended for over twenty years, always with the same sense of wonder, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. And when combined with an Easter egg hunt, an annual flea market, or other cultural or family activities, whatever the event, it has its effect, entertaining, surprising, and delighting the hearts and souls of young and old alike. And for fans of "street art", you will discover two murals on the interior walls of the railway bridge that adjoins the racecourse.

The dining room is lively, the service is warm and welcoming, and the dishes are generous and perfectly cooked. The quality of the ingredients is undeniable, and their preparation is exquisite. The wines are also excellent! Enjoy your meal.

Every dish was a true delight, prepared with quality ingredients and great expertise. The service also deserves special mention: smiling, attentive, and professional. Between the head chef Aurel and Jagol in the kitchen, Guigui, Raf, or Stef, it's hard to know who to choose, but you can feel a genuine passion behind this establishment. A must-visit for me, a 40-year-old native of Pontoise. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and will return with great pleasure!
