20/01/2026: The cocktail was very tasty, but not exactly mind-blowing. And the aperitif arrived very late, just before the main course. The crème brûlée was delicious, as always. The disappointment was the two-salmon tartiflette. What makes this dish so good is the Reblochon cheese, which gives it its creamy texture and iconic flavor. But here, the cheese was so minimal that it was impossible to taste it. In fact, what cheese was used in this dish? The service was attentive and friendly, very pleasant. In January, I had a much more positive experience. However, it's impossible to post a new review without deleting this one, even though it's still valid for the visit mentioned.

Everything is homemade, delicious, and clearly prepared by a chef who loves their craft and wants to bring joy to their customers—and, in my opinion, they've truly succeeded! The welcome is warm and friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. I highly recommend this establishment ❤️

13/11/2025: A fantastic, friendly bistro, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, but right next to the train station. We arrived around 2:45 pm, a group of 42 hikers, without any prior notice, and on November 11th no less! The owner went out of his way to seat us on the large back terrace, bringing in a multitude of chairs from who-knows-where. All this with a smile, and to top it all off, at incredibly competitive prices. Kudos and thanks again for the excellent service and the warm welcome! 🤗👍🥰

13/12/2025: We held our end-of-year dinner for our volunteers from Christo Rugby Adapted. The welcome was as warm as ever, and the chef was fantastic. A real treat from appetizer to dessert.

15/12/2024: Disappointing Experience Despite the Great Location The location of the hotel is incredible, and we really enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi and sauna. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. When we arrived, the room didn’t look like the pictures advertised, and it was freezing cold upon entry. There was no hair dryer provided, and we couldn’t charge our car, which was an inconvenience. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing, and the service overall was below expectations. For a price of €270 per night (booked through Staycation), we expected much better. While the setting was stunning, the lack of attention to detail and poor service made the experience not worth the cost.

I tried to take pictures of the plates, but they were so good, I ate them too quickly😅 And the much-appreciated bonus is that even the water carafe is Kinetico filtered👍 Other restaurants should follow suit 😉
