16/08/2024: Really tasty pizzas and very kind, friendly and swift service. We had the Andalusian with merguez and chorizo and the Corsican - with a type of Corsican smoked sausage, goat‘s cheese and olives. Both were great. Thank you! You saved our night after we came across lots of full, closed or overpriced restaurants in the vicinity.

03/08/2024: A very well-kept hotel with history. The staff is very polite and accommodating, our room was at a perfect temperature despite the outside temperature of 37 degrees thanks to the air conditioning running. The furnishings are old but very stylish and high quality. All in all a beautiful place in Avignon. We will be back.

We ordered two glasses of wine: Luberon and Viognier white, just not good!

25/07/2024: We had long considered having lunch at Papa's. It's done today. And we don't regret it, on the contrary. The cuisine is varied and of high quality. The prices are really affordable. We will come back without problem.

25/08/2024: We managed to eat without having booked on a Thursday in August where it was crowded, friendly waiter who went out of his way for us.
Could have had 5 stars but he didn't take restaurant vouchers and I didn't see it mentioned.
Will definitely come back!!!
20/08/2024: Family with child in the middle of a heatwave. The waiter and waitress watch you wait, take their break at the same time and laugh. We wait again and again. They always look at us and laugh. When you see staff not caring about their customers like this, you can imagine the rigor in the kitchen and the focus on quality, whatever it may be. Go your way. Great cafes 20m away with lovely service and great places to stay all around. I should have looked at the reviews before we were treated to the same negligence

06/10/2024: Fettiges Entrecote 320g mit 160g Abfall. Nicht mal Fingerdick. War wohl eher ein billigstes Ribeye. Nicht zu empfehlen. Das Schnitzel war auch fad und trocken.

Currently recommended are the apple caramel tart and the brownie ball with pistachios.
25/09/2024: In Vaison-la-Romaine, this town where every stone breathes history, hides a sweet sanctuary, a place of worship for initiated taste buds: the Peyrerol patisserie.
Pronounce this name in a low voice and you will see the eyes of the locals light up with lust and the smiles appear like greedy confessions.
Today, rather than describing the sumptuous display of golden pastries, fine chocolates and ice creams with surprising flavors like blueberry or violet, let me tell you about a tiramisu that is as daring as it is refined.
Imagine, first of all, a light mascarpone cream, soft as a caress, neither too sweet nor too strong. Each spoonful plunges into a fragrant cloud, subtly “punched” (I have always loved this culinary term ☺️) of a coffee syrup with deep aromas, flirting with the intoxicating notes of alcohol, without one or the The other never dominates, like a discreet whisper. It’s a delicate waltz between the voluptuousness of mascarpone and the measured intensity of coffee, in short: a perfect harmony.
Then, on top, crunchy shards of lightly roasted pecans dance. Their woody, almost caramelized flavor awakens the senses, contrasting with the creamy sweetness to provide an apotheotic finish to each bite. 10/01/2025: Hello, I went by a few days ago one morning I came across a very bitter lady I finally went another day and the big surprise I came across the store assistant who was very nice unlike my first experience . It's a shame that according to the sellers we are not as well received.
06/01/2025: The order preparers, as well as the bakers, pastry chefs and viennoisiers, deserve particular recognition for their unwavering commitment. Congratulations to little young Adrien for his seriousness and his versatility, even in the face of the constraints of his work. Congratulations also to the baker and the young sellers for their professionalism.
However, certain points could be improved. Team management, once more warm and friendly, seems to have lost its dynamic. Additionally, flour quality has declined, and pastries have become excessively sweet, affecting customer experience.
Regarding the diversity of the teams, it is regrettable to note that within the various Marie Blachère boutiques visited, there are few men in sales positions. They often find themselves in the back of the shop, making great efforts in sometimes stressful conditions. It would be wise for general management to carry out regular monitoring in stores in order to objectively evaluate working conditions and guarantee better treatment of employees.

15/09/2024: The waiter and the service were very good, as for the cuisine it was not even at the level of a fast food restaurant we were a group of 10 people and word of mouth will work so as not to return in this establishment which is not worthy of being called a restaurant.

07/09/2024: Dans l'assiette ça se passe bien, sans plus et moins que précédemment toutefois.
Les frites ne sont plus maison par exemple.
C'est devenu un resto où l'on mange, avant c'était un resto où l'on se régalait.
Par contre, le service ça dépend vraiment sur qui on tombe...
La mauvaise expérience de l'été aura été de constater que le responsable de la terrasse, un grand costaud, s'est mis le pourboire laissé à la serveuse dans la poche.
Nous avions laissé un bon pourboire, car ravis de la prestation (souriante, drôle, dispo et à l'écoute).
Nous avions un doute et avons interpellé sur le parking, la serveuse qui quittait son service. Elle a confirmé n'avoir rien reçue et était d'ailleurs étonné que nous n'ayons rien laissé...
Autre cas constaté, un dimanche matin je suis en terrasse et je bois mon café.
Du monde arrive, mais ça reste calme.
Un couple âgée s'assoit et se signale. Le serveur acquiesce. 15/20 mn après, commande non prise, le couple se manifeste à nouveau. Et là, réaction très agacée du serveur, totalement dans le jus et dépassé pour une terrasse a moitié vide !
Mauvaise ambiance et mauvaise organisation au service qui se ressens sur clients.
Faut vite finir la saison et faire autre chose l'année prochaine les gars !
02/09/2024: Nous venions régulièrement avec les enfants pour vos frites…..! Malheureusement il y a un changement incontestable dans la qualité de ces frites, auparavant vraies frites maison, aujourd’hui beaucoup moins bonnes….. d’autre part , nous étions sur les banquettes parallèles au parking et quelle horreur de manger avec une odeur d’urine ! Jamais depuis que nous venons nous n’avions eu ça…… il va falloir être sérieusement vigilant sur ça !

29/10/2024: Une petite terrasse entre les murs de pierre, un accueil tout en sourire et une cuisine qui réveille les papilles et une carte des vins locaux qui vaut le détour. Bref un excellent déjeuner !
