07/01/2026: This year, we wanted to gather the family for Christmas in a special and welcoming place. I chose La Grange de Séveyrac, which I hadn't been to before. We were all pleasantly surprised. To begin with, the place is full of charm, nestled in a lovely natural setting on a site steeped in history, and the barn has been tastefully restored with respect for its authenticity. The welcome is simple and warm; you immediately feel at ease. As for the service, nothing is overlooked; Anne, the owner and cook, is incredibly attentive. The traditional cuisine reflects the spirit of La Grange: simple yet refined, using high-quality ingredients. We were all delighted by the setting, the atmosphere, and the meal. This has led us to plan another Christmas together at La Grange de Séveyrac! 😊

27/02/2026: The welcome was icy, just like all the food served. Avoid this place at all costs! A small sausage costs €9.50 without any sides. Unbelievable! You have to pay an extra €4 for fries or salad. Otherwise, you just get a small sausage in the middle of a large plate. Furthermore, we asked for ketchup and mayonnaise for the children, but they had neither. A disgrace for a restaurant with exorbitant prices. In conclusion, the portions are very stingy. We were disappointed with our evening.

29/12/2025: Two days of pure bliss! We spent two nights in this magnificent place, and as a gift… snow! A perfect Christmas! The cottage was very cozy and well-equipped. What a marvel to see the deer, does, fawns, and wild boars from the jacuzzi! Beautiful walks, stunning scenery… And to top it all off… lovely, attentive hosts. Thank you for everything, we'll be back!

The welcome is warm and the service is prompt. You could even call this restaurant bistronomic, given how beautifully presented and tantalizing the taste buds are. Be sure to book ahead, as it fills up quickly. The menus change regularly, which is a sure sign of quality. I'll be back again and again!

03/02/2026: The menu is mouthwatering and the dishes live up to expectations. Excellent cuisine. Very good value for money. The welcome and service were impeccable. This is a place that will definitely be on our list of regular dining spots.

09/04/2026: A shocking and unacceptable experience. The meal was generally good, but already disappointing due to the blandness of the dishes. But the worst was yet to come: with dessert, I had the astonishing and unacceptable surprise of swallowing a piece of steel wool, clearly from a scouring sponge. It was stuck in my throat, extremely painful and irritating, impossible to dislodge despite water and bread. At first, I thought it was just a mint leaf stuck to the back of my throat, before realizing the seriousness of the situation. This was followed by a moment of intense stress, a persistent cough for hours, and a severely irritated throat all afternoon. And what's most worrying is that even the next day, I still have a very unpleasant sensation in my throat, as if it were still irritated or damaged. In an establishment of this caliber, this type of incident is simply unacceptable and demonstrates a serious lack of rigor in the kitchen. As for the “compensation,” a simple cake was offered… utterly paltry considering what happened. I would still like to commend the professionalism of the waiter who served our table.
